She alleged: “[Cardi] was the aggressor and attacked [Ellis] while she was employed as a security guard. Defendant was not injured in this incident.”

Furthermore, Ellis asserted: “Defendant’s intention was to cause injuries to Plaintiff so she could not return to work. Defendant even used her celebrity status to get Plaintiff fired from her post as a security guard. Defendant, by threats, coercion, intimidation, physical force including аssаult & battery, prevented Plaintiff from returning to work as a security guard, which was something she had a right to do under the law.”

As previously reported, Ellis claimed in her initial lawsuit that while working security at a Beverly Hills building, she encountered Cardi leaving a doctor’s office. Subsequently, Ellis alleged that she approached the rapper, only to be met with aggression that escalated into a physical altercation. She contends that Cardi then used her celebrity status to have her terminated. Ellis is seeking unspecified damages for alleged injuries, mentаl anguish, and anxiety resulting from the incident.

Cardi B vehemently denied the allegations, accusing Ellis of unauthоrized filming as she left the medical center. The rapper, who was pregnant with her first child at the time, claimed that Ellis was fired by her physician for privacy violations. Additionally, Cardi denied using racial slurs during the altercation and refuted Ellis’ claims that staffers had to intervene to stop the alleged figҺt. A court date has reportedly been scheduled for May 31st.

Rapper Roddy Ricch, Rodrick Wayne Moore Jr., has sold his Beverly Hills home with four bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Unfortunately, Ricch received slightly under $5M—$4,995,000 to be exact—for the home he acquired in 2021 for $5.6M.

A little over a year after that acquisition, the 24-year-old artist listed the home for $5,995,000. He reduced the request early this year to $5,750,000.

This past summer, the price dropped once again, to $5,199,000, which prompted the most recent sale.

The 3,450-square-foot house, which was constructed in 1960, is tucked away amid lovely palm trees and a verdant setting on a little over an acre. Beautiful views are available from the open floor layout, and the living area is anchored by a warm fireplace.

Joyner Lucas is reflecting on his time with a major record label, expressing deep regret over what he describes as a string of broken promises.

During a conversation on Math Hoffa’s “My Expert Opinion,” Joyner and his longtime manager and business partner Drew revisited the period when they were courted by Atlantic Records before signing in 2016.

They recounted enduring lengthy delays in receiving payments, likening the process to money falling slowly like confetti – hardly cause for celebration.

Although Joyner was initially thrilled to sign with Atlantic, he released only one project with the label before parting ways a few years later.

Describing Atlantic’s recruitment as a deceptive tactic, Joyner and Drew allege that the label utilized manipulative strategies to persuade them into signing the contract.

According to Joyner, Atlantic executives promised easy access to some of the label’s biggest stars, including Cardi B, Ed Sheeran, and Bruno Mars, for collaborations. However, these promises never materialized.

Throughout his career, Joyner has collaborated with prominent artists such as Eminem, J. Cole, and Chris Brown. Despite his success, none of these artists are signed to Atlantic.

Meek Mill, who collaborated with Joyner in 2018 and was also signed to Atlantic, has since made it a priority to advocate for improved record deals. This raises questions about why aspiring artists continue to sign with major labels despite numerous accounts of unfavorable experiences.
