Chyna, 34, accused the famous family of plotting to get their show, Rob & Chyna, cancelled.

The couple started dating in January 2016, announced their engagement that April, and shared the news in May that he and Chyna were expecting their first child together.

Soon after, they landed their own reality show, Rob & Chyna, but the couple later split and the show was cancelled after one season. Chyna claimed in a defamation lawsuit that it was the Kardashian family’s decision to end the show.

She also alleged in the suit – which was filed in 2017 and recently settled – that she was the victim of assault, battery, domestic violence and interference with prospective economic relations. Rob, 35, denied assaulting her, and Kim and Khloé testified during the 2022 trial that they had no influence over the producers’ decision to cancel Rob & Chyna.

According to The Cut, former Rob & Chyna producer Jeff Jenkins testified that the show had been cancelled due to the couple’s volatility. Rob testified that during the year the couple was filming the show, Chyna put a gun to his head on two occasions and wrapped an iPhone cord around his neck. He also said that the pair only got engaged so that Chyna could pitch the idea of a TV show about them. The defamation case was dismissed and no damages were awarded to Chyna.

After the couple split for good in 2017, Rob Kardashian allegedly posted revenge pornography of Chyna, leading to his ban from Instagram. Since then, his Instagram account has been exclusively run by Kris Jenner Communications. Chyna also filed a separate revenge porn lawsuit against Kardashian, which was reportedly settled out of court in June 2022.
