Rich Paul recently said that LeBron James is now a free agent and that the Los Angeles Lakers should spend their energy focusing on Anthony Davis.

Was this a threat or some sort of tactical maneuver to get his client a good contract extension this summer?

Speaking on “Undisputed,” Skip Bayless said there is no chance that James, and his son Bronny, won’t be playing for the Lakers next season.

“LeBron will be a Laker, Bronny will be a Laker, and AD will do whatever he says,” Bayless stated.

Most people agree that the Lakers and James will come to an agreement on a brand new contract extension, James’ last of his career.

It’ll probably be a massive deal too, and it’ll likely be around the time they draft his son.

Bronny has made some headlines recently because of how well he has improved his game.

He is now a much more exciting draft prospect for numerous teams.

Still, conventional wisdom says that the Lakers will likely sign him.

James probably won’t be leaving Los Angeles for a number of reasons, according to Bayless.

He lives in LA and loves it there and he is thinking of his life after his NBA career.

Additionally, his entire family is there, including his younger son who is still playing basketball in high school.

His business ventures, his family, and his comfort are all sizable parts of why he wants to remain in Los Angeles and with the Lakers.

Now the two sides just have to come together and agree to an extension that works best for both sides.
