Your World Cup celebrations are going to look rather tame when see how Rihanna celebrated Germany’s win: with the actual German team.
Feel happy that Germany finally won the World Cup after 24 years? Did you bunk work to celebrate? Well, it’s all going to look rather tame when you see how Rihanna celebrated Germany’s win: with the German team.

Of course, being a music superstar and part of official sponsor Budweiser’s marketing machines, does have its advantage, and Rihanna was quick to flaunt them on Twitter as she posted pictures of herself partying with the German team and holding the World Cup trophy.

It should be noted Rihanna has been tweeting regularly about the tournament. It’s not clear who she’s been supporting in this tournament. She had one tweet saying, “Great job #USA I’m proud of you boys! You put your heart in it!!!”, another cheering for Brazil, and yet another selfie which was aimed at the Dutch team.

While it might just be that Rihanna likes good football, she did seem truly happy to party with Germany after their victory. She posted a string of selfies, including one with matchwinner Mario Goetze, another with the trophy and Bastian Schweinsteiger and Lukas Podolski and another one with Miroslav Klose and the cup once again.

Interestingly her profile picture on Twitter today has her sitting in the same pose she had for the tweet supporting the Dutch team, except she’s now covered in German colours.

Wherever her loyalties in the tournament might have been, Rihanna’s selfies with the German team is definitely a brilliant social media win. Check out her tweets below:
