There’s no question that Rihanna loves her homeland, Barbados.

The singer often escapes from her nonstop, globe-trotting schedule to the small Caribbean island for tropical vacations, carnival revelry, and family gatherings.

She even dedicated her MTV Video Vanguard Award to her Bajan brethren. But it could also be argued that another city is a second home for RiRi. Paris—or PaRih! as she’s cleverly named the French capital—always attracts her, and she’s had plenty of good times there.

She’s been a fixture in the front rows of its Fashion Week for seasons now, sticking out in the crowd of editors and models with her risk-taking outfits.

Whether she’s freeing the nip while partying with Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing, sitting front row in nothing but a Miu Miu multicolored fur and a garter belt, or shuffling into a Chanel show in sneakers, Rihanna regularly uses the trip to town to try out the most daring trends. Her appearance at the Dior show last fall in a pink fur-trimmed cape and a pair of latex over-the-thigh boots—a look that was part vixen, part grande dame—was a great example.
