A Taylor Swift fan has revealed how she managed to scoop tickets for the singer’s Eras tour just hours before the show began.
Dedicated Swiftie Helen Derbs was determined to see the global superstar perform live at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool – but still didn’t have tickets on the day of the concert earlier this month.
However, she didn’t let that stop her and, with just three hours to go, Helen managed to secure tickets and take her mum along to see the show.
Health coach Helen, who posts on TikTok under the username @lifecoachhelen, revealed how she managed to attend the Eras tour despite not having a Ticketmaster code.
Helen explained: ‘So we monitored the trends in ticket prices on the Edinburgh show and the Liverpool night one.
Helen Derbs was determined to get tickets for Taylor Swift’s concert in Liverpool and managed to do so with three hours to spare
‘We looked at the different prices per time of the day up to half an hour before it starts, because I’ve seen some people get really cheap tickets 30 minutes before.
‘The cheapest tickets we saw were around the 3pm mark. Now, I bought them a little bit later, I was hoping they would go down the closer I got.
‘But 4pm was my cut off point because I did not want the anxiety. So I paid maybe £40 to £50 pounds more than they were at 3:30pm.’
Helen explained that she used resale website Stubhub to purchase her tickets and ended up paying around £500.
She and her mother were seated near the end of the stage and did have a ‘slight obstruction’ but it didn’t end up being an issue.
The Swiftie explained said it wasn’t a hack for ‘saving money’ but just for ‘getting tickets’ in the first place.
Helen continued: ‘This video is not for anybody who is looking for cheap Taylor Swift tickets. We paid in the £500 region but it was worth every single penny.
‘Now yes, we did pay a lot more than people would have paid last year but of course that’s just what’s going to happen at a sold out concert, especially when there were only three nights at Liverpool.’

Helen took her mother to the tour and posted a picture of them dancing to Blank Space and ‘having the best time’
She later posted a clip of herself dancing to the concert and having the time of her life to Blank Space, and even hoped to catch a glimpse of the singer’s famous boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
However, Helen urged her followers to look at resell websites with caution, and to be wary of any prices that may seem too low.
She added that she bought her tickets through a protected payment on Paypal and used a credit card.
Since announcing the Eras tour it has been revealed that Taylor Swift fans have been scammed out of more than £1million by ticket fraudsters claiming to offer tickets to the star’s UK concerts.
Consumer expert Alice Beer previously went on This Morning to explain how fans can protect themselves against fraud.
She said the first thing to look out for is where you are buying from, adding that sites such as Facebook do not allow ticket sales.
Alice said you need to go through Ticketmaster, a box office or a trusted promoter to get tickets and make sure all transactions are made through the website.

The way you purchase your tickets could also cover you. If you buy them via bank transfer, you are less protected than if you were to use your credit card, debit card or PayPal.
She advised fans to slow down and take a second to think about where and who they are buying from.
Alice said that tickets are not the only thing at risk, car parking and hotels are also ones to look out for.
The Shake It Off singer has now commenced a series of shows at Wembley Stadium in London, with even Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte attending the first night.
