The megastar, 34, stepped out to support her longtime pal Cara Delevingne as she nears the end of a months-long run in Cabaret in London.

On Friday, May 31, Swift stopped by London’s Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theatre in the West End to see Delevingne, 31, as she took on the role of club singer Sally Bowles, made famous by Liza Minnelli in 1972’s Cabaret.

Swifties began buzzing that Swift had visited London to see Delevingne earlier on Friday, and following the show, the Kit Kat Club’s head of marketing, Arthur Jones, confirmed the rumors in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

“Taylor Swift?? Was supporting Cara Delevingne?? At Cabaret?? TONIGHT??!!” one fan asked, to which Jones replied: “Can confirm. A special night.”

Another fan followed up to ask whether the “Anti-Hero” singer stayed for the full performance, and Jones answered simply: “👍.”

Delevingne first took on the theater role on March 11, making her one of many Sally Bowles to take the stage since Rebecca Frecknall and Tom Hughes’ award-winning production of Cabaret opened in London in 2021. The Carnival Row star is set to finish her run in the show on Saturday, June 1, according to the Kit Kat Club’s website.

Swift and Delevingne have been friends for years, and have often been spotted hanging out together. Earlier this year, in January, Delevingne attended a Kansas City Chiefs game in Buffalo, New York, as Swift cheered on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The pair watched the football action from a suite at Highmark Stadium with Travis’ mom Donna Kelce, dad Ed Kelce, older brother Jason Kelce and Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce.

After the Eras Tour performer began her romance with Travis last year, Delevingne shared her support for the couple, telling E! News at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix: “I’m so, so happy for her.”

“There’s definitely something very different about them,” she added of Swift and Travis. “I’m always rooting for my girl.”

The two friends were also spotted partying together in recent months. In December, they celebrated a girls’ night out with Selena Gomez, Anya Taylor-Joy and Zoë Kravitz, and in November, they stepped out for another star-studded dinner with Gomez, Sophie Turner, Gigi Hadid and Brittany Mahomes.

The “Fortnight” singer and the actress have also supported each other’s careers over the years. In 2015, Delevingne made an appearance as “Mother Chucker” in Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video.

The Only Murders in the Building actress previously spoke about her foray into musical theater for Cabaret, telling Harper’s Bazaar in April: “I didn’t know that I could play Sally, let alone wanted to, until the opportunity arose.”

“In theatre, more than movies, I have found myself more drawn to tenacious but very flawed characters,” she continued, speaking about her character work for the production. “I feel I can put all my pain and fear into the performance. There are so many layers to her. She is extremely powerful, but my God, is she broken and vulnerable. She’s a child — a little girl, and that is the saddest part of it all. I definitely [recognize] myself in that.”

“I have never learnt so much, or grown so much,” she added of her experience working on the West End show. “I am taking away so many incredible, valuable things that you cannot get, or even pay for, by doing this job.”
