Travis Kelce, Andy Reid, Patrick and more had already weighed in on the widespread backlash to Butker’s graduation speech comments, which many believed were 𝓈ℯ𝓍ist and homophobic.

On Monday, Randi tweeted on top of a video of Butker doubling down on his previous comments.

“Amen…,” Mahomes’ mother posted, followed by a praying emoji.

“The more I’ve talked about what I value most, which is my Catholic faith, the more polarizing I have become,” Butker said.

“It’s a decision I’ve consciously made and one I do not regret at all.”

Earlier this month, the Kansas City kicker referred to gay Pride Month as a “deadly sin” and railed against abortion, IVF and surrogacy.

Butker told female graduates their excitement for success in the working world came from “the most diabolical lies,” and said that women should “embrace one of the most important titles of all, homemaker.”

After the mother of the Chiefs’ QB tweeted “Amen” above a tweet of Butker strongly standing up for his previous comments, fans were either highly offended or supportive, with no middle ground.

“Release him,” one fan posted.

“Sad so many hate on him,” a second fan tweeted.

“Just curious. Are you amen-ing his a woman’s primary vocation should be as a homemaker thing, or also his anti-LGBT remarks?” a third fan wrote.

“Randi. I’m now a fan of yours!” a fourth fan said. “You are awesome.”

The NFL distanced itself from Butker in a statement.

“Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity,” the league said. “His views are not those of the NFL as an organization.

“The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger.”

The Chiefs’ three-time Super Bowl winning QB said that Butker was a “good person,” even though Patrick doesn’t agree with all of his views.

“I’ve known him for seven years,” Patrick said. “I judge him by the character that he shows every single day … that’s someone who cares about the people around him, cares about his family and wants to make a good impact in society.”

Like Patrick, Peyton Manning also dealt with a controversial kicker during his time with the Indianapolis Colts.
