Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes joked that it’s “DadBodSZN” after being body-shamed by netizens in January.
Taking to Instagram Wednesday, the NFL star showed himself hitting the gym with Chiefs receivers Hollywood Brown and Rashee Rice.

During their gym get-together, Rice, 23, hilariously trolled Mahomes, 28, by wearing a T-shirt featuring a photo of the latter shirtless.
The star athlete’s wisecrack came almost two months after an NFL video, where the dad of two celebrated his team’s AFC Championship win while shirtless, went viral.
Many took to social media after to body-shame him amid their expectations of what a professional athlete should look like.

“Fatrick Calzones,” one hater slammed, with another adding, “Patty Big Body.”
“I never thought seeing Mahomes shirtless would make me feel better about how I look shirtless,” a third troll wrote.
However, just as many fans supported him.

“What can’t be seen or measured is the enormous heart @PatrickMahomes,” a second fan tweeted.
Mahomes also weighed in on the matter with a lighthearted joke, complaining on Jan. 31, “Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!? #DadBodSZN.”
