Vin Diesel scoffs a banana as he joins co-star Michelle Rodriguez in the English countryside to film the first scenes for Fast & Furious 9

During the filming of Fast & Furious 9,  Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez were spotted on set in the Hertfordshire countryside in England.

Vin Diesel, who stars as Dominic Toretto in the big budget blockbusters, was seen scoffing a banana in between scenes as Michelle, who plays his onscreen wife Letty Ortiz appeared in good spirits.

Snack time: Filming has officially begun for Fast & Furious 9 as Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez were spotted on set in the Hertfordshire countryside in England.

Pictures show the stars in a woodland area filming as yet unknown scenes for the popular high-adrenaline film series.

Making the most of his down time, Vin was seen munching on a banana as he was flanked by an assistant.

Dressed in a white vest and a sleeveless blue shirt, Vin’s bulging biceps were on full display as he prepared to get into character.

He teamed his outfit with pale blue skinny jeans and tan boots.

Meanwhile, Michelle appeared relaxed and content as she strolled around set ready for filming.

The star rocked a pair of pair blue dungarees, which she wore with a white vest top and a denim jacket tied around the waist.

The actress also had on a brown work belt and teamed her ensemble with a pair of navy Crocs.

The superstar pair appeared to be enjoying their first day of filming, with the duo surrounded by various members of production staff.
