The plans for Scientology’s new $13.5 million East Hollywood headquarters have been exclusively uncovered by Radar Online. The ‘Pacific Area Command Base’, its enormous West Coast headquarters, is just three city blocks away.
According to LA Department of City Planning records, the one-story red brick Gothic-Revival structure, which is the Bethany Lutheran Church, was constructed in 1926. It is situated on a 10,250-square-foot lot with a parking lot and an outdoor patio area.

The building has a 30-foot ceiling, a full kitchen, updated stained-glass windows, and a 320-square-foot mezzanine area overlooking the substantial open space, according to information provided by Radar Online.
The building is close to the church’s famous ‘Big Blue’ headquarters, which is known throughout Los Angeles for its 16-foot-tall rooftop ‘SCIENTOLOGY’ logo topped with a Christian cross. There are reportedly about 25 additional properties owned by Scientology in the LA region.
