The Mad Titan a.k.a. Thanos played by Josh Brolin left a mark in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and its fans. Thanos’ snap that wiped out half the population in the universe was the utmost horror MCU has ever witnessed. Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr believes Brolin’s prowess as a performer made Thanos more lethal than ever.

Josh Brolin playing Thanos was appreciated by many and his co-stars were not left behind. Avengers star, not Chris Evans this time, Robert Downey Jr believed Brolin’s parameter of justifying Thanos has made the Infinity saga more appealing. Of course, it was never easy to portray the character in such elegant details blending special effects to his performance to make him look convincing. “Our real ace in the hole is Brolin,” Downey said (via, MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios).

“To me, it’s not Thanos, it’s Brolin. Because he’s the one who is making this avatar be scary. And he’s a sweet guy, but he’s a formidable guy,” he added.

Brolin has proved to be a capable actor in pulling off the role of Thanos, the sweetness on his face swiftly transformed into a menacing scare as he integrated into the role of the Mad Titan. Karen Gillan, who plays Nebula in MCU would vouch for that. “It’s so easy to play an over-the-top villain,” Gillan said. But he’s “soft-spoken and it’s so much creepier that way. You’re like, Who are you? What are you capable of?” Certainly, Brolin’s Thanos has made the Infinity saga even scarier with his ruthless attempt to clear the path before reaching his goal.

Josh Brolin Is Open To Play Thanos Again

Undoubtedly, Brolin mostly enjoyed his role as Thanos in the MCU. Speaking with SiriusXM, Brolin revealed his thoughts on playing Thanos. “I was so happy and I loved being involved in that so much,” Brolin said. But it was “a lot of fun it worked out it worked out for them very nicely,” he added. Also, the actor revealed that he is open to playing Thanos again.

“But um I don’t know where they’re going to go with it now. I have, no I, it’s not that I don’t have an interest they have their own trajectory that they’re worrying about and if they want me to do it I would do it, I’m sure but I don’t know what they’re thinking.”

The Deadpool star has enjoyed the course of his life after playing Thanos as fans have accepted the character in their hearts. A huge compliment for the actor, indeed. Also, many believe, similar to Downey Jr, Brolin was the perfect cast for playing the character with his elegant deep voice adding depth to it.
