But she still overran the 10.30pm curfew by 30 minutes at the O2 Arena and could be hit with a £300,000 penalty.
Queen of Pop Madonna, 65, performed a 140-minute set on Saturday night as she launched her Celebration world tour.
But on Sunday she didn’t make it on stage until 9pm — with the concert ending at 11pm amid warnings fans may miss the last Tube trains.
Hits including Like a Virgin and Celebration were axed. leaving gig-goers gutted.
One posted: “How dare the b******s at the O2 cut Madonna short.”
Curfew rules drawn up by the arena’s operators AEG and Transport for London include fines of £10,000 a minute.
Greenwich Council said its midnight curfew wasn’t broken.
A spokesman said: “We do not intend to investigate.”
