Travis Kelce could follow his older brother Jason into retirement this offseason, claimed a former NFL sideline reporter.
Travis, 34, helped lead the Kansas City Chiefs to a 27-24 win over the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs with two touchdowns Sunday.
But just hours before the divisional matchup, former NBC ‘Sunday Night Football’ sideline reporter Michele Tafoya suggested that this season could be Travis’s last.
‘I think Travis Kelce is retiring after this season like his brother, so I think there’s just a ton of motivation there for (the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl). … I think they’re highly motivated,’ Tafoya said, during an interview with Marc Ryan of CBS Sports Radio.
Tafoya naturally said she couldn’t reveal her sources but insisted that she believed the tight end was looking to future plans.

She added that Travis and Jason could team up tp produce a ManningCast-style alternate broadcast with their podcast, New Heights, already a hit.
Tafoya’s claim of a potential retirement comes as Travis’s romance with Taylor Swift heats up.
Travis has been dating the pop star since the summer and she has attended the majority of his games this season, including Sunday’s win.
Bills Mafia hadn’t given Swift a particularly warm welcome to Orchard Park as they booed the pop star upon her arrival.
However, the songstress didn’t seem to mind as she was caught engrossed in the game from a suite alongside Kelce’s family.
The Grammy Award winner met his Eagles center brother Jason Kelce and his sister-in-law Kylie Kelce.

Jason, 36, reportedly told his Eagles teammates that he is retiring after Philadelphia was eliminated from the NFL playoffs by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The center, a father-of-three, strongly considered retiring at the end of last season but decided to return after the Eagles’ Super Bowl loss to his brother and the Chiefs.
However, he is said to now be set to bring the curtain down on a remarkable 13-year career in the NFL after reportedly struggling to bounce back following games this season.
The Super Bowl winner, six-time All-Pro and future Hall-of-Fame inductee, turned and hugged the offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland as the clock ticked towards zero during the eagles’ final game of the season.
Jason then had an emotional but brief reunion with his family on the field – his father, Ed, and wife Kylie were cheering him on from the front row of the stands.

Jason went wild as Travis scored his first touchdown in eight games to put the Chiefs ahead
He gave them both a wave as he made his way from the field and was filmed tearing up on his long and lonely walk back to the locker room.
However, he appeared to have bounced back from his emotional goodbye when he attended Travis’ game Sunday.
Following Travis’s first touchdown, Jason was filmed roaring into the night without his top on, holding a can of beer in the 20 degree weather. His wife Kylie could be seen watching on stunned in the background as the celebrations in suite erupted while mom Donna was pointing at Jason going wild.
He was then sensationally filmed jumping out of the window of the box and climbing into the stands to celebrate with the thousands of fans packed into the stadium. He necked the rest of his beer before climbing back through the window in extraordinary scenes.
