On this week’s episode of the New Heights podcast, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had his recently retired brother, Jason, in stitches after confusing an Olympic speed skater with a famous musician.

Travis was trying to describe the overwhelming media coverage his girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, received during her recent series of concerts in Australia. He described the scene when he landed at the Sydney airport, with paparazzi and cameras everywhere.

“Yeah, you’re like The Beatles,” the former Philadelphia Eagles center responded as Travis described the scene. “Like Yoko Ono.”

“Was that the speed skater?” Travis replied.

Jason couldn’t contain his laughter.

“Oh wait, that’s Apolo,” Travis said as he corrected himself. Jason only laughed harder.

“Are you thinking of Apolo Anton Ohno?” Jason replied. “Oh my God. That’s f—— hilarious! God that’s good.”

It’s been a big week for Jason, who announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday after 13 seasons.

Both Kelce brothers almost certainly will be inducted someday into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, just down the road from their hometown of Cleveland Heights.
