There are not many NFL stars more universally beloved and respected than Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. The future Hall of Fame center has made seven Pro Bowls (including five in the past five seasons) and has been named First Team All Pro six times. He also won the Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2017.
Kelce has had a long and decorated career in the NFL. Ever since the Eagles were eliminated from the NFL Playoffs, rumors have swirled that he might retire. However, he has not made a decision one way or another. Meanwhile, he is looking at various opportunities in media. His podcast “New Heights,” which he co-hosts with his brother, Travis Kelce, is already a very popular production.
Philadelphia Eagles Star Jason Kelce Saw His Own Popularity Rise in the NFL Playoffs
Arguably the best center in the NFL for years, even at age 36 last season, Kelce saw his own popularity rise due to his brother dating popstar Taylor Swift. This was especially true after the Eagles were eliminated from the NFL Playoffs. Since he no longer had any games to play himself, Kelce traveled to all of the Kansas City Chiefs’ games to support his brother.
Of course, fans may recall an intoxicated Kelce taking shots at Buffalo Bills’ fans tailgates and jumping shirtless out of the luxury box he was sharing with Swift and his family. He was also seen rubbing elbows with Swift and her celebrity guests at Super Bowl LVIII.

While NFL fans got to see the fun-loving side of Kelce during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl run, and while his play has been admired by fans from every fan base for years, many outside of Philadelphia may not be familiar with one of his greatest passions: autism awareness.
Last week, Kelce participated in the Mike’s Seafood Run/Walk for Autism, an annual event that he has attended for years. During the summer, he also acts as a guest bartender at Mike’s Seafood, located in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, to help raise mone
In the past, Travis has made appearances and participated in the event as well. This year, though, he is in Australia with Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour.

The Kelce’s have been working with the Eagles Autism Foundation since the early days of Jason’s playing career. For Kylie Kelce, the mission of the Foundation has special meaning, as she explained during a September 2023 episode of “New Heights:”
“I feel a little bit like a broken record at this point, but I had a neighbor growing up who’s more like a brother than a neighbor. His name is Tim. Now our girls call him Uncle Tim. When I was growing up, he called me and my sister his sisters, my mom his girlfriend and my dad the boss.
“It never really registered with me that we were interacting with someone who was on the spectrum. So when I got a little bit older and realized how impactful it was to have Tim in my life and to understand autism on a personal level in the way that having Tim did.”
In the same episode, Kylie said that hers and Jason’s work with the Eagles Autism Foundation will not end with Jason’s playing career.
As for Jason, it is just one more example of why he is one of the best people, not just one of the best players, that has played in the NFL.
