Fresh off winning his third Super Bowl Championship with the Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes is in attendance at the American Airlines Center with his wife Brittany Mahomes to cheer for their favorite franchise the Dallas Mavericks in their showpiece clash against the Denver Nuggets.
Mahomes who is a native of the state of Texas has been a lifelong Mavericks supporter who has been supporting the franchise since the Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash days. Mahomes is frequently seen catching Mavs games at American Airlines Center and this time him and his wife were seen cheering for superstar Luka Doncic.
The match was an intense affair in the first half as Denver Nuggets went in with a 61-58 lead. But Luka Doncic once again stamped his dominance and amazed the Super Bowl MVP. The moment came in the second quarter as the Mavericks were struggling offensively but Doncic in a flash scored 8 points with two quickfire three point attempts and gave Mavericks the lead. Mahomes couldn’t control his excitement and was in his feet cheering for Doncic. Watch here –
For Dallas Mavericks the matchup against Denver Nuggets is a crucial one to know where the truly stand. A win will prove that the team could be ready for a deep playoff runs this term. Currently they sit eighth in the Western Conference standings and all set to feature in the play-in. The Mavericks however will want to reach the sixth seed and seal automatic playoff berth.
