Kansas City is coming off its second consecutive Super Bowl victory after defeating the San Francisco 49ers in the last Sunday of the NFL year to win the title earlier this month.
However, with the season over, the Chiefs will have to climb the mountain again, and on Friday, fans discovered who and where Kansas City will play in 2024.
Like everyone, the Chiefs will have nine road games, with three of the games being division matches against AFC WEST rivals, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, and Denver Broncos.
The remaining five games will feature showdowns against star QB Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, who will surely like to avenge their home playoff loss this past season to Kansas City.
It also includes matches against the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as a rematch of the Super Bowl when they headed to San Francisco to play the 49ers.
However, it’s the home schedule that has fans buzzing since Kansas City will host the first game of the season on the opening Thursday night when they receive their Super Bowl rings.
Outside of their guaranteed three home games against the Raiders, Broncos, and Chargers, Kansas City has five fun matches.
The Cincinnati Bengals and Joe Burrow come to Kansas City, and they are the last team to defeat the Chiefs in the playoffs.
They also host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Baltimore Ravens, and reigning MVP Lamar Jackson, another team they knocked off this past season in the playoffs.
But fans believe the Texans and star rookie sensation CJ Stroud will get the call for opening night.
“Texans on banner night could be fun,” this fan shared.
“Cj Stroud about to chain snatched in the season opener,” another said.
“Give us Stroud, Burrow, or Jackson on Banner Night!!!” a third expressed.
“I’m thinking it’ll be the Texans for the season opener. I’m positive,” a fourth declared.
