Over a month after Jason Kelce announced the end of his NFL career, his wife Kylie came up with a thoughtful retirement present for the Eagles legend.
On Monday, Kylie shared a wooden replica of Lincoln Financial Field that she is gifting Jason and revealed she planned on the present two years ago.
The replica was made by Savannah-based artist Dana Theobald. Aside from the impressive miniature stadium, the piece also had Jason’s name, jersey number (62), and career achievements embedded in the framework.
‘I messaged @danatheo.designes TWO years ago!’ Kylie wrote on her Instagram story.
‘She came up with this beautiful custom design and then waited for me to give the retirement green light J’s final list of accolades.’

On March 4, Jason held a press conference to announce his retirement after 13 seasons
‘A project that is so special to me and that I’m very excited to share,’ Theobald captioned pictures of the replica on Instagram.
‘Thank you so much @kykelce for commissioning me to make @jason.kelce’s retirement gift of Lincoln Financial Field. It was truly an honor.’
On March 4, Jason hung up his cleats after 13 seasons, all in the City of Brotherly Love. During his time with the Eagles, Kelce made five First-team All-Pro and seven Pro Bowl selections.
Kelce was also part of the 2018 Super Bowl-winning team.
Although he’s stepping away from the field, Kelce hinted at staying involved with the organization. In January, he told the Philadelphia Inquirer: ‘I don’t know what’s going to happen for me, but I do know I still want to be involved in the organization and still want to be a part of it, regardless of what the decision is.’
‘Because I don’t want to ever feel like I’m on the outside looking in on these achievements and these accolades and these opportunities that largely represent entire cities and fan bases and organizations,’ Kelce continued. ‘It’s too good a feeling to pass up.’
