Both Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift quickly made their way to the field of Allegiant Stadium after the Kansas City Chiefs took down the San Francisco 49ers in a memorable Super Bowl LVIII upset.

Both women immediately looked for their men and shared tender moments with them before the awarding ceremonies quickly got underway.

While it seemed like Patrick Mahomes’ wife and Travis Kelce’s girlfriend were with their respective groups for much of Super Bowl LVIII, it was clear during the awarding ceremony that they had talked about the game at least before the Super Bowl.

During the ceremony, the two managed to find each other in the sea of people who were walking around the Allegiant Stadium field.

According to Jonathan Jones, there were only three words Brittany Mahomes told the Blank Space singer while the rest of the world were celebrating the Super Bowl victory of their partners:

“I told you so!”

There’s no context on what this message entails as there’s no recorded public dialogue between the two. However, it’s easy to imagine that the message was probably meant to encourage Swift to calm down and trust both her man and the Chiefs to pull through.

For those who live under a rock, Taylor Swift only got into football because her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is a star tight end for the Chiefs. With her, she brought a lot more fans to watch the game with their husbands and partners and became interested in what the game had to offer,

This Super Bowl is probably the first Taylor’s ever watched as an active participant, and she probably felt nervous when the Chiefs were down by halftime. Since this isn’t Brittany’s first rodeo, she probably told her that the guys would do just fine in the end.

Brittany’s husband and Taylor’s boyfriend were key cogs for the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory in Vegas. Patrick Mahomes threw for 333 yards and 2 touchdowns. Travis Kelce was his favorite target as the 34-year-old caught nine catches for 93 yards.

This won’t probably be the last time the two ladies hang out to watch football, and fans can expect more moments like this in the future.
