After two straight blowout losses to the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce believes his team can play much better.
‘Two really poor performances,’ Kelce said Sunday night. ‘But I think [Eagles head coach] Nick [Sirianni] feels the same way that we all do, that we can play much better than we’re playing right now. And we’ll go back to work on it this week.’
The Eagles just wrapped up a tough 5-game stretch, winning the first three and getting embarrassed in the final pair.
That included Sunday’s 33-13 loss to Dallas, when Philadelphia didn’t score an offensive touchdown.
Wins over the Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Buffalo Bills have been recently overshadowed by the last eight days.

The tough competition appears to let up for the Eagles for their final four games of the regular season.
Philadelphia has a 2-game buffer with both games against the New York Giants over the next month.
The Eagles also play the Arizona Cardinals and next play the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football in a week.
By winning 10 of its first 11 games of the season, Philadelphia is still easily in a playoff position, as one of four NFC teams that are more than one game over .500.
The Cowboys, 49ers, and Detroit Lions are the other trio, placing the Eagles currently as the NFC’s No. 5 seed despite being tied for the best record in the conference.
