As he adjusts to retirement, Jason Kelce is getting the star treatment from Philadelphia as he was honored at a Phillies baseball game during a day out with his wife, Kylie Kelce.

While wearing a Phillies baseball jersey, Jason threw the first pitch at the game between the Phillies and Atlanta Braves on Saturday, March 30.

The 36-year-old and his former Philadelphia Eagles teammate, Fletcher Cox, who also announced his retirement from football recently, were photographed on the pitcher’s mound at Citizens Bank Park letting one loose as they threw the ball to start the game.

The Phillies shared photos from the happy day on Instagram, writing, “today’s first pitch: Go Birds forever 💚(swipe for a gift from Jason to Bryce).”

Along with more photos of Jason and Fletcher hugging and posing with Phillies players, one snap showed Jason signing the cleats of Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper. But it wasn’t just Jason having all the fun, as Kylie was in good spirits while supporting her husband at the game.

The couple posed for a photo together to mark the fun occasion, shown in snaps shared by People. Wearing a white sweatshirt that read “PHL” in bright red letters, jeans and white Converse sneakers, Kylie seemed relaxed. She even posed with the Phillies mascot later on.

Jason announced his retirement from football earlier this year with an emotional speech about his team, coaches, family and more. Right now, he has not shared his plans for post-retirement. However, Jason will continuine his podcast, New Heights, which he shares with younger brother Travis.

In the meantime, Jason can hopefully enjoy the free time he has to spend with his three young daughters, WyattElliotte and Bennett, whom he shares with wife Kylie. The youngest, Bennett, was born in February 2023.
