Jason Kelce shared what he said might have been his younger brother’s “most impressive physical feat” during the Wed., March 27 episode of their New Heightspodcast.
Near the conclusion of the episode, the brothers first debated who can outdrink the other before shifting focus to promoting their upcoming live show, which is scheduled to take place on April 11 at the University of Cincinnati.
Both Jason, 36, and Travis Kelce, 34, played college football at the university before launching their NFL careers. Since both brothers have appeared excited to revisit their alma mater for the live show, Jason asked his brother what will be the “first thing” he does upon his return to the campus.
Travis only had to think about the question for a moment before he answered: “Adriatico’s pizza.”
The New York-style pizza and sports bar joint is located on the university campus and appears to have been a popular spot for both of the Kelce brothers. The pizza place has a special menu item, named after the university’s bearcat mascot, that Jason said Travis has tried before.
“Adriatico’s? Bearcat?” Jason asked.
Travis confirmed he plans to visit the pizza restaurant before appearing to rethink the menu pick. “Maybe not a Bearcat,” he said.
The Bearcat is listed on Adriatico’s website as a large 30-slice pizza pie that can serve 10 to 12 people. But Travis previously tackled the entire menu item on his own, according to his older brother.
“I’ve seen you eat a full Bearcat all by yourself,” Jason said.
“And I was bigger than you right now,” Travis said. He estimated that he weighed 285 pounds after completing the task but later “got back down to 250 and won the Super Bowl the next year.”
“It might have been the most impressive physical feat I’ve ever seen you do,” Jason said.
Though the brothers didn’t mention specific pizza toppings during their discussion about Adriatico’s, the manager of a different pizza place in Cleveland revealed which toppings Travis had picked during a recent visit to his hometown. Fans of the Kelce brothers also learned what Jason’s go-to pizza toppings are late last year as the former NFL player filmed a pizza ad with his wife, Kylie Kelce.
