KANSAS City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is not the first football player in Taylor Swift’s life.
The pop megastar’s dad Scott played college football for the University of Hawaii in 1970.

Scott suited up as a freshman center for the UH Rainbows, helping the team go 9-2 that season.
He went on to star for Delaware, where he transferred, before going on to become a stockbroker.
“He’s a huge football guy,” Travis said on an episode of New Heights.
“He played college ball, I believe a year at Hawaii and then a year or two, I forget how long, at Delaware.
“I believe he was a line-backer turned center.”
Scott was recently pictured wearing a Chiefs lanyard ahead of Taylor’s concerts in Japan this week, ahead her planned trip to Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII.
And Scott and Travis struck up a bond when they first met in Argentina in November.
“I might have persuaded him [to be a Chiefs fan] at dinner the night before when I met him,” Travis added.
Travis and brother Jason then playfully squabbled over Scott’s NFL fandom.
“Got him over to the good side, baby,” Travis teased.
“Just one by one, getting all the good ones to come on over.”
Jason retorted: “What are we doing, Scott?
“You’re gonna let this man’s devilish good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott? Ridiculous.”
Thanks to Scott’s football links, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid even met Taylor before Travis had.
“Listen, she’s been great,” Reid told Tom Brady’s Let’s Go! podcast.
“I knew her before, from Philadelphia. Her dad [Scott Swift] played at [University of] Delaware and was a big football fan and good guy.
“So I had met him there and her.
