In between practices for this year’s playoff games leading to the Super Bowl, Travis Kelce found some time to help out the Kansas City community, donating 25,000 meals to kids in the area.
Kelce teamed up with Kodiak Cakes to donate the meals through the Operation Breakthrough nonprofit. The 34-year-old invested in Kodiak Cakes in 2022, and he has worked with Operation Breakthrough for years through his own nonprofit, Eighty-Seven & Running.
Fans were amazed at Kelce’s kind actions, sharing their thoughts on social media.
“A generous initiative by Travis Kelce and Kodiak brand, making a positive impact on the community,” wrote one fan, while another cheered him on, saying, “#TravisKelce what a man what a mighty generous man. He’s always doing things like this 🐐🏈🙌🏼🫶.”
A different fan tweetedabout the news, writing that while they “constantly post about Travis Kelce’s hotness, it is the charity work he does that makes him so damn attractive because his continuously generous spirit shines through,” adding that he is a “great representative” of the city.
Someone responded to the post with very high praise, saying, “They broke the mold when Travis was born ❤️💛💯,” as a declaration in the comments read, “Selflessness and kindness are the ultimate hot ❤️.”
Kelce previously partnered with the nonprofit to create the Ignition Lab, which provides opportunities for kids ages 14 to 18 to further explore STEM skills, while also earning certifications, school credit, and other opportunities, like internships.
He will likely continue working with Operation Breakthrough and Kodiak Cakes on similar projects in the future, spreading goodwill to the Kansas City community.
