Jason Kelce is a Super Bowl-winning, Hall of Fame-worthy center.
Jason ‘Kelsey’ is who the Philadelphia Eagles thought they were getting in the 2011 NFL Draft.

The Eagles took a punt on the offensive lineman with a sixth-round pick (191st overall) in the 2011 draft but not even they were entirely familiar with who he was.
“The #Eagles select C Jason Kelsey from Cincinnati with the 191st pick!” the team wrote in a now-infamous social media post.
“Man I dont know about this one…Hes probably going to be a bust but hey we will see down the road,” one person later joked.
“I bet this guy will go on to be one of the most iconic Philadelphia athletes of all time!” another quipped.
Jason and his younger brother Travis discussed the unfortunate misspelling on an episode of their New Heights podcast following Jason’s retirement at the end of last season.
“Completely botched your name and now you’re the greatest player to ever play in the Eagles uniform,” Travis told Jason, who said he hadn’t even realized the mistake at the time.

“I fully like that most of my career had to be earned,” Kelce said.
He went on: “The credit that I’ve gotten has been because of the work that’s been put in. They didn’t know how to spell my name back then, but they know how to spell it now.”
Travis added: “They know how to spell your name at least now, it’s probably gonna be on the stadium at some point.”
Jason – and certainly not the Eagles – could have predicted the kind of impact he’d have on the franchise.
Universally loved Kelce spent 13 seasons in the City of Brotherly Love as part of a stunning career that included multiple Pro Bowl selections, six first-team All-Pro selections and one Super Bowl title.
He is also widely regarded as one of the greatest centers in NFL history.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, including Kelce’s career.
He announced his retirement in a teary press conference in March in front of an equally emotional Travis.
Since then, however, it’s been all fun and games for Kelce, who has appeared at WrestleMania and overseen the inaugural ‘Lombarby Games’ – where he lost his Super Bowl ring.
The 36-year-old and his brother continue to entertain fans with their award-winning New Heights podcast that’s featured a ton of high profile guests this offseason including Arnold Schwarzenegger.
It remains to be seen what’s next for Kelce but he’s clearly a man in demand.
He’s reportedly wanted by several of the major television networks for a lead broadcasting role next season.
His infectious personality and loyal following is presumably why ‘Kelsey’s’ in such high demand among all the major players.
