Drake surprised fans when he decided to create his own art theme park in Los Angeles

With rides created by artists like Salvador Dali, Keith Haring, and Jean-Michel Basquiat that have been in storage for 25 years, Drake is going to revitalize a theme park.

This winter, Drake plans to establish his own theme park in Los Angeles. Drake is capable of doing that kind of stuff, after all. However, don’t anticipate attractions like a strength test for the “Hotline Bling.” In reality, the rapper is bringing back to life a long-lost collection of rides created by famous artists like Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Salvador Dali.

The Luna Luna collection was purchased by Drake’s entertainment business, DreamCrew, last year for an estimated $100 million after being kept in storage for 25 years.

DreamCrew’s Anthony Gonzales told the Los Angeles Times, “We knew we needed to be a driving force behind Luna Luna’s resurrection when it first caught our attention.”

“This was not only an incredible chance to unearth a forgotten past and tell the world about it, but it also allowed us to collaborate with the most skilled collaborators to recreate the original concept, which still had a ton of unrealized potential.”

In 1987, Austrian artist André Heller assembled the park for its first exhibition in Hamburg, Germany. After that, a San Diego showing was planned, but it was postponed, and the whole thing wоund up in storage in Texas until Drake and his firm intervened.

Regarding the project’s initial inspiration, Heller states, “I dreamt up Luna Luna with the determination that art should come in unconventional guises and be brought to those who might not ordinarily seek it out in more predictable settings.”

Although the precise opening date is still pending, it is expected to occur in the next weeks, with the park’s first reopening lasting through the spring. You will only be allowed to see the rides since, according to the organizers, the majority of them do not adhere to current safety regulations. So, don’t get too enthusiastic about giving them a spin.
