The Chiefs and Ravens will square off with a spot in the Super Bowl on the line

The Kansas City Chiefs have been handed some positive news ahead of Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. The news centers on running back Isaiah Pacheco, who had missed several practices in the lead up to Sunday’s crucial AFC Championship matchup, which put his availablity in doubt.
Although Pacheco hasn’t been able to practice for much of the week due to his injuries, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that the 24-year-old is expected to play once gametime rolls around.
“Isiah Pacheco, the best running back on the Kansas City Chiefs, he’s got a couple injuries,” Rapoport said.
“Got a toe, got an ankle, DNP both days of practice… Is not necessarily a bad sign. Not necessarily pessimism there. In fact, when Pacheco was talking to reporters earlier in the week, he told them definitely that he would expect to play. That is a good sign.”
Pacheco is officially listed as questionable heading into the AFC Championship game, but the fact that he returned to practice on Friday shows his health is heading in the right direction.
Chiefs-Ravens for a spot in the Super Bowl
The news is a welcome boost for the Chiefs as they head to Baltimore looking to reach their fourth Super Bowl in five years.
Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes are coming off an impressive road victory over the Buffalo Bills, with the star quarterback getting the job done in what was his first road playoff start.
It won’t be easy even with news that Pacheco will be healthy enough to play. The Ravens have had a tremendous season, finishing with a 13-4 record, which was good enough to give them the top seed in the AFC.
Led by Lamar Jackson, who is the favorite in the race for MVP, Baltimore picked up where they left off in their NFL Divisional Round matchup with the Houston Texans last weekend, coming out 34-10 winners.
