“Definitely position it by the window,” says Karolina. “Just ensure you provide for privacy, whether through sheer curtains or blinds.” Cardi B’s bathtub meets both criteria. “The beauty of it is that it’s a place where you can relax, unwind, look out the window with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. If you want to make an even bigger statement, add a beautiful fireplace as well,” adds the designer.

If you don’t have a window and need to place your freestanding bathtub against a wall, Karolina advises leaving some space. “If it’s too close to the wall, it can make cleaning and dusting behind it difficult.” She also recommends having a separate shower to prevent the entire bathroom from getting wet.
