The restaurant, which will be called 1587 (a merge of their jersey numbers of course), will open early 2025 at the Loews Hotel in downtown Kansas City.
Three-time Super Bowl champions Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up to create something big for the city they call home. Moving away from their stadium successes, the dynamic duo are investing in a new restaurant in Kansas City called 1587 Prime.
As a nod to both their jersey numbers, the two have partnered with Noble 33 and are set to open the restaurant in early 2025. Said to be a experiential modern steakhouse, Tosh Berman, co-founder of Noble 33 told Good Morning America, “Working with Patrick and Travis has been incredible. As longtime supporters of our other restaurants, we worked together to combine their favorite elements of those experiences into what we developed for 1587 Prime. They are natural hosts and can’t wait to bring a unique modern American steakhouse experience to Kansas City.”
The restaurant is said to be located in the Loews Kansas City Hotel and will take over a space of nearly 10,000 square feet across two floors. It will also feature multiple private dining rooms and a “jaw-dropping meat display,” along with an extensive wine collection and a diverse menu. The wine collection will be one of the largest in the state. The immersive restaurant is described to feature “hyper-subtle nods to Patrick and Travis’ on-field accomplishments.” In his own statement, Mahomes said of the venture, “Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City.” Kelce added, “We’re excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own, Kansas City.”
