The banter of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft added a whimsical touch to the narrative when he teased that the pop sensation should have directed her affection towards former Patriots tight end Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski rather than Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce.

“We convinced her and her family that she could pack a stadium,” reminisced Kraft. “So, when she graced Gillette Stadium to watch the Chiefs play the Patriots this year, I presented her with a framed ticket from that very concert—June 5, 2010. Just think, she was a mere 18 or 19 then, and look at where she’s soared since.”

Taylor, 34, kindled her romance with Travis, 34, in July 2023, following his attendance at her Eras tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Travis divulged on his “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted with brother Jason Kelce, that he had intended to gift her a friendship bracelet bearing his phone number but missed the opportunity.
