The Kansas City Chiefs just had an epic Super Bowl LVIII win against the San Francisco 49ers. As you can imagine, Chiefs TE Travis Kelce got emotional after the victory. During a postgame speech, he revealed what he plans to do next season. Read below to find out what that is.

While holding the Lombardi Trophy, Kelce could not help but look ahead to next season. He made it quite clear that his job was not done here despite the retirement rumors. Here is what he had to say:
“See y’all next year.” -Travis Kelce
That quote does not leave much for interpretation. Despite being 34 years old and having won the Super Bowl the last two seasons, Kelce intends to play at least one more season.
Kansas City Chiefs Going for History

You can argue a big reason why Kelce is returning is to try to make NFL history. No team has ever won the Super Bowl three years in a row. Next season, the Kansas City Chiefs can attempt to be first team to ever do this.
If that happens, Kelce would be part of quite a historic roster. Plus, Kelce emphasized that the Chiefs were going for this during the Lombardi Trophy presentation. Considering the Chiefs just won their second straight Super Bowl title minutes before that speech, it is a good sign as to how serious they are about making NFL history.
