Andy Reid is going through a tough family moment following the death of his mother, who had been struggling with several health issues for the past few weeks.

After the news broke a few days ago that Elizabeth Reid, Tammy Reid, was in delicate health, the news of her death was given by a close friend of wife Tammy, Teresa Jane, from Tyler, TX.

Through her Facebook account, Teresa posted: “My best friend @randimahomes lost her best of best friends yesterday…. Her sweet mom. The one who showed up for everyone every time. The person more like her than anyone, the person who loved her no matter what… please keep her in your prayers and know her messages and phone has literally blown up with love but she just can’t reply yet.”

Another family friend, who is known on Twitter by the name The Real Neon, posted: “I hadn’t gotten the chance to see Elizabeth in many many years but she was always such a sweet and kind person. My condolences go out to @tootgail (Tammy Reid) and the entire Reid family. Fly high and rest easy Elizabeth.”
