Cardi B shared that she really wants to become a ‘ƅιIIιоn dollar woman’ like Rihanna
Following in Rihanna’s footsteps, Cardi B hopes to amass enough wealth to one day become a billionaire Bardi.
The “Up” rapper appeared on BARDIGANGRADIO’s show on Stationhead, a rapidly expanding social audio platform, on Wednesday, March 17.
Cardi, who has nine singles in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, revealed to a fan that she wants billion-dollar deals in addition to million-dollar ones when they inquired about her other professional aspirations.
She doesn’t need to go any further than RiRi, the wealthiest female singer in the world, and Jay-Z, the first billionaire in hip-hop, for examples of how to successfully manage music and business. The Savage x Fenty lingerie collection by Rihanna was valued at $1 billion more recently.
“When I first arrived at the game, people would ask me, ‘Who do you look up to?’” She responded, mentioning her mother and the other “stripper bi—es” she used to dance with, “I always used to say, ‘I don’t look up to anybody because I didn’t really understand the game, and I only feel like I got influenced by the people that was around me.”
But now that I’m at this point, Jay-Z and Rihanna are two of my greatest influences. Furthermore, I’m not saying it to give you a kiss or anything. Cardi said, “I just feel like they’re so influential because Rihanna is a billionaire and comes from a country that my parents came from—a Caribbean country.” However, I want to be as successful as she was in building her company and becoming a millionaire. That’s my desire. Becoming a billionaire lady is my dream. I want to have a very strong brand.
“And Jay-Z, he’s from the hood just like me,” she said. This dude is from the ghetto, and he’s a multibillionaire. This just involves developing a plan, putting together strategies, and shaking hands.
A fan inquired about the possibility of a visual album from Cardi in the future. She responded by stating that it would be “very f—ing difficult” for her to do and citing Queen Bey’s success—she has since done it twice—with Lemonade in 2016 and Black Is King in 2020.
It takes me a whole month to complete a single song. And let’s suppose I have six trap songs,” the musician known as “Bodak Yellow” said. Similar to Beyoncé, she released a video album with R&B tracks only. R&B often tells a tale. So, let’s suppose my album has six trap songs, correct? What narrative does it really tell?
