¡INCREÍBLE MOMENTO EN LA HISTORIA DE ‘THE PRICE IS RIGHT’! JUGADOR HACE LO IMPOSIBLE, GANA POR PRIMERA VEZ EN 20 AÑOS Y DEJA A DREW CAREY SIN PALABRAS EN VIVO

Price Is Right’s Drew Carey was gobsmacked after a player made history by being the first person to win a difficult game on the first try in 20 years

The Price Is Right‘s host, Drew Carey, was gobsmacked after a player made history by being the first person to win a diffcult game on their first try in 20 years, something he’d never seen since becoming host.

During the June 23 episode of the hit CBS game show, player Alyssa took to the stage to meet Carey after guessing the nearest retail price of a beach package that included beach chairs, an umbrella, and cooler.

Announcer George Gray then revealed she had the chance to win a sedan if she won a game called Cover Up, which sees a contestant shown a series of digits, which they use to form the price of the car, covering up picture cards on the bottom.

Before Alyssa made her move, Carey informed her of a detail that put the pressure on tenfold. He told her, “If you get the price correct on the first try, congratulations, you’ll be the first winner in Price is Right history, probably.”

However, Carey wanted to confirm his statement with one of the guys behind the camera, asing, “Has anyone gotten it right on the first try ever Chris?” Chris shoock his head.

As far as Carey knew, no one had ever won the game for as long as he’d been host, which has been since 2007, when he took over for Bob Barker.

“Long time ago, back when – probably when Bob was host, not when I was host,” Carey added to Alyssa.

The contestant then formed what she thought was the price of the car, putting $24,796, and was correct.

As she looked stunned, covering her mouth with her hands, Carey looked like he was going to drop to the floor with his astonishment, repeating to the audience and viewers at home, “I can’t believe it.”

When it came time for Alyssa and her opponents to sping the wheel to get into the Showcase Round, things got even more wild as the player’s luck seemed too good to be true.

Before the first person spun, Carey couldn’t help but remind viewers, “What a win we just had.”

When Alyssa’s turn was up, Carey added, still clearly shocked by her epic history-making win, “How about a hand for Alyssa who just killed Cover Up.”

The host then imparted a piece of history, further cementing Alyssa’s win, telling her, “The last time somebody did what you just did was June of 2007, I found out during the break, been a while. Not since I’ve been the host.”

Carey and viewers were treated to another shock as Alyssa then spun $1, earning her $1k, another spin on the wheel, and a spot in the Showcase round.

The comedian joked, as hetouched Alyssa’s shoulder, “Touch you for luck,” before advising her to go to Las Vegas after the show.

As Alyssa did her second spin, Carey jokingly bowed serveral times, but, unfortunately, the contestant landed only one number away from 15, which could’ve earned her another $15k.

Carey joked, “Hope that didn’t spoil your day. What a day she’s having!”

During the Showcase, though, Alyssa’s luck seemingly ran out, but even her loss still held significance.

She bid $30k on a cold plunge bath, a new kitchen, and a trip to Australia while her opponent Nickie bid $29k on smartphones, and backyard patio set, and a boat.

Shockingly, both players bid over, which doesn’t happen often.

Still, Alyssa had one of the most impressive times on Price Is Right in a long time, and made history with her win.
