“Just another swiftie tryna [sic] learn football, or a kid tryna avoid a nap. Who Knows?” the NFL wife jokingly captioned the pictures, shouting out her husband’s team with a “#GoBirds”.

As the sharp-witted repeatedly asked “who’s that,” pointing to the screen when a player would pop up, Kylie obligingly answered, further explaining their roles.

The caption referred to the phenomenon following pop sensation Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce’s budding romance, whereby Taylor’s devoted fanbase, who call themselves “Swifties”, started studying up on the NFL.

Moreover, as Swift took a breather from her ongoing record-breaking Eras Tour and attended multiple of her new admirer’s football games over the past few weeks, the league’s viewership drew in a huge female viewership, per Page Six.

Now, if her dad being in the NFL wasn’t already enough to pique her interest in football, the blossoming romance between her uncle and her favourite musician seemed to have done the job.

  • The Chiefs’ Travis Kelce waпts this AFC Champioпship more thaп the others

The Chiefs’ Travis Kelce waпts this AFC Champioпship more thaп the others

This isn’t the Kansas City tight end’s first rodeo — and he’s planning on riding in them as long as he can.
AFC Divisional Playoffs - Kansas City Chiefs v Buffalo Bills
If there was ever a team that could rest on its laurels and take a moment to bask in the glow of their past accomplishments, it’s the Kansas City Chiefs.

They’ve appeared in three of the last four Super Bowls — and on Sunday, they’ll play the Baltimore Ravens in their sixth consecutive AFC Championship game.

But they’re not going to take it easy. It’s just not in their makeup.

If there was any doubt about that, the team’s star tight end Travis Kelce sought to dispel it on Friday.

“I ain’t thinking about a single one I already accomplished,” he told reporters. “I’m thinking about this one on Sunday — and I want it more than I ever wanted one in my life.”

This has been a wild year for Kelce — both on and off the field. In his 11th NFL season, his production took a dip — at least by his own standards. His numbers were still really good — only the San Francisco 49ers’ George Kittle had more receiving yards as a tight end — they just weren’t 2022 Travis Kelce good. In his personal life, he started dating popular music superstar Taylor Swift. That made his personal profile skyrocket — and brought increased scrutiny on him.

But he’s not upset about it.

“I brought this upon myself,” he acknowledged, “and I do enjoy having fun with it all.”

Still, he wanted to emphasize that one thing has remained the same: he’s not sacrificing his NFL career.

“The biggest thing,” he said, “is making sure my focus is right here in this building.”

According to Kelce, the key is blocking out all of the outside noise.

“You hear the media throughout the year if we’re not having success,” he observed. “Maybe throwing it out there that I wasn’t focused — or that the team isn’t focused on certain things. And if you’re in this building, you know exactly what’s going on… So you’ve got to compartmentalize what you’re hearing and make sure that you’re staying on task. And giving everybody in the building — and on [the] team — the right perception.”While one analyst after another has predicted Kansas City will be no match for Baltimore, Kelce knows that the team has one significant advantage: significantly more playoff experience.

“It’s just situational awareness,” he said. “It’s being big enough for the moment — [and] not letting the moment get too big [for] you. [It’s] just going out there and playing with a certain determined mindset — and not letting any of that clutter get in between. It’s definitely a luxury to have it — but at the same time, you can’t depend on that kind of stuff.”

After five straight conference championships on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Sunday’s game will be on the road — but Kelce isn’t worried about that.

“It doesn’t matter who you are [or] where you play,” he declared. “If you rally together with the men and women that you’ve got — and the team that you got — you can play anywhere you want to. You’ve got to bring that juice no matter who’s in the crowd.”

Still, there is no place like home.

“Winning at Arrowhead is pretty damn good,” admitted Kelce. “Hopefully I’ll find out on Sunday what it feels like to win the AFC Championship on the road.”

Kelce said the team’s success all starts with head coach Andy Reid setting the tone. Miami Dolphins v Kansas City Chiefs Photo by Alex Grimm/Getty Images

“He challenges us with the right mentality — and the right determined mindset — week in [and] week out. And I haven’t found that challenge off the field. I only find it [during] every single day I walk into this building.”

Reid’s approach has rubbed off on the tight end — and according to Kelce, even more on quarterback Patrick Mahomes.“[Mahomes has] done what I’ve tried to do year in and year out; I haven’t been as successful as he has. [You] answer the bell — answer the challenges that are presented to you — and get excited about that… He’s playing his best football right now. And you’re seeing why he’s the best quarterback in the league.”

Kelce believes that Mahomes isn’t the only one of his teammates who has “answered the bell.” This season, they’ve weathered their share of adversity this season and come out the other side hardy and battle-tested

“We’re resilient,” claimed Kelce. “We grew together. You saw this. You saw the struggles.

“I think that’s what makes it special. You just come into that locker room. You’ll see the chemistry. You’ll see how much we want it for the guy next to us. And that’s when you’ve got a real good team.”

And even though there have been reports that Kelce is considering retirement sooner than has previously been thought, he’s a cowboy with no plans to ride off into the sunset.

“It’s been a hell of a ride up to this point, baby,” he declared. “And I don’t feel like getting off the roller coaster any time soon.”

Travis Kelce and the Chiefs touch down in Baltimore ahead of Sunday's AFC title game vs. Ravens... but will Taylor Swift be there to cheer on her boyfriend as Kansas City aims

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs have touched down in Baltimore ahead of tomorrow’s AFC Championship against the Baltimore Ravens.

Players stepped off the Chiefs’ flight from Kansas City shortly after 3pm and with just 24 hours to go before the game that will be the end of one team’s Super Bowl LVIII dreams and a ticket to Las Vegas for the other.

Dressed head to toe in black – beanie, shades, jacket and pants, with heavy chain at his neck – Kelce swaggered across the tarmac looking every inch like a man who means business. He had a similar gait when arriving at the team hotel, that is, until DailyMail.com caught the normally sure-footed tight end tripping on the stairs in some exclusive footage. Fortunately, Kelce caught himself before completely losing his balance.

He’ll have more obstacles to deal with on Sunday, including the Ravens’ sixth-ranked defense and the pressure of playing in front of a star-studded crowd in Baltimore.

And right at the front of the celebrity pack, Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift, 34, a regular fixture in the VIP box at her boyfriend’s games, is expected to join the tight end’s friends and family to cheer the Chiefs to what they hope will be victory.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been handed some positive news ahead of Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. The news centers on running back Isaiah Pacheco, who had missed several practices in the lead up to Sunday’s crucial AFC Championship matchup, which put his availablity in doubt.

Although Pacheco hasn’t been able to practice for much of the week due to his injuries, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that the 24-year-old is expected to play once gametime rolls around.

Isiah Pacheco, the best running back on the Kansas City Chiefs, he’s got a couple injuries,” Rapoport said.

“Got a toe, got an ankle, DNP both days of practice… Is not necessarily a bad sign. Not necessarily pessimism there. In fact, when Pacheco was talking to reporters earlier in the week, he told them definitely that he would expect to play. That is a good sign.”

Pacheco is officially listed as questionable heading into the AFC Championship game, but the fact that he returned to practice on Friday shows his health is heading in the right direction.

The news is a welcome boost for the Chiefs as they head to Baltimore looking to reach their fourth Super Bowl in five years.

Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes are coming off an impressive road victory over the Buffalo Bills, with the star quarterback getting the job done in what was his first road playoff start.

It won’t be easy even with news that Pacheco will be healthy enough to play. The Ravens have had a tremendous season, finishing with a 13-4 record, which was good enough to give them the top seed in the AFC.

Led by Lamar Jackson, who is the favorite in the race for MVP, Baltimore picked up where they left off in their NFL Divisional Round matchup with the Houston Texans last weekend, coming out 34-10 winners.

Report: Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce Makes Curious Statement About Ravens’ Game Amid Retirement Rumors

Many pundits believe the Kansas City Chiefs could see turnover

Several rumors and reports have swirled around the future of head coach Andy Reid and Kelce. Per GH records, last week, Michele Tafoya reported Kelce was considering retirement after the season:
The Kelce brothers have been planning for their life after football for a while, as the two have set up business ventures in recent seasons. Tofoya thinks Travis and Jason could have a contract to work together on NBC for Sunday Night Football games like Payton Manning and Eli Manning do with ESPN.

Tafoya isn’t the only media member thinking of TV contracts for Travis. The big rumor circulating this week is that Travis and Jason Kelce could team up to join a major media company for a TV talk show. The Kelce brothers already share a popular show, the New Heights Podcast.

Travis Kelce made a telling comment about the Ravens’ game

Kelce talked to reporters on Friday about the Chiefs’ game against the Ravens. He made a few interesting comments regarding this season and the AFC Championship game in a week many articles are being written about his possible retirement from playing in the NFL.

Per the transcription of Kelce’s comments by the NFL’s website, Kelce said it’s a challenge to find success after winning two Super Bowls:
“Yeah, I mean, it’s a challenge to find new ways to have success,” Kelce said of questions regarding what he has left in the tank. “I think that’s what this year has brought for me is that obstacle and figuring out how I can get the best out of myself, figure out how I can get the best out of my teammates.

All at the same time being a great leader bringing that energy, showing for the young guys the type of determined mindset you have to have week in (and) week out. You know what, I love that challenge.”

Does Kelce want to go out on top?

But the critical comment Kelce made that should have Chiefs fans on edge this weekend is his thoughts on beating the Ravens. Kelce said he wants to win the game more than any other in the past:
“I’m not thinking about a single one I already accomplished,” Kelce said. “I’m thinking about this one on Sunday, and I want it more than I’ve ever wanted one in my life.”
Kelce appears to have found how one more way to bring himself success. But is that success Kelce retiring on top after he wins one more Super Bowl?

Taylor Swift Scared Straight in Baltimore Ravens Hype Video Ahead of AFC Championship Game vs. Chiefs

A popular TikTok NFL fan account made the hilarious video that’s garnered more than 5.3 million views.

    Well, this is a first.

A new Baltimore Ravens hype video features none other than Taylor Swift scared straight at the sight of Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, the presumptive Most Valuable Player and arguably the most dangerous player the Kansas City Chiefs will face Sunday in the AFC Championship Game.

The hype video’s courtesy of the popular TikTok fan account NFL Memes, which produced a 1 minute, 23 second video set to Swift’s “Style (Taylor’s Version)” track. The video begins with Swift and Brittany Mahomes celebrating with a choreographed handshake. But within seconds the video cuts to a shot of Jackson leading his teammates onto the gridiron, prompting another video edit — a shot of Swift rising to her feet with a frightened look on her face.

The rest of the video features Jackson highlights and ominous shots of the Ravens getting ready for battle at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, where Travis Kelce and the Chiefs will set foot Sunday with a Super Bowl LVIII appearance on the line. The Ravens-Chiefs winner will meet the winner between the Detroit Lions and the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl, which is slated for Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

As the Chiefs prepare for their biggest game of the season, Kelce’s high-profile relationship with the biggest pop star in the world continues to be a topic of discussion. And to Kelce’s credit, it’s not a topic he’s shied away from. During his player press conference Friday in Kansas City, a reporter asked him about the outside noise and whether he and Swift have talked about how to deal with the intense attention since going public with their relationship.

“The only thing we’ve talked about is as long as we’re happy, we can’t listen to anything that’s outside noise,” Kelce shared. “That’s all that matters.”

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes’ dad, Pat Mahomes Sr., was asked during a radio interview Friday whether he’s going to sit with Swift and Kelce’s brother, Jason, come Sunday in Baltimore, this after their luxury box got a ton of attention last weekend in Buffalo after Jason ripped off his shirt, hopped down to the stands and chugged a beer.

“Uh, I hope not,” Pat joked (we think). “But, nah, I don’t think so. No, Travis normally has his own thing and Patrick has his own deal, too so. But, you know, I imagine if Taylor wants her own suite she has enough money to get one if she wants.”
