LeBron James wants to give a Hollywood ending to his professional basketball career.The 39-year-old NBA star told reporters at the All-Star Game this weekend that he hopes to end his career in Los Angeles, retiring as a Laker.”I am a Laker and I’m happy and been very happy being a Laker the last six years and hopefully it stays that way,” LeBron said, according to ESPN. “But I don’t have the answer to how long it is or which uniform I’ll be in. Hopefully [it] is with the Lakers. It’s a great organization, so many greats. But we’ll see.”

LeBron’s revelation about where he wants to wind down his career comes two weeks after the Golden State Warriors reportedly reached out to the Lakers about making a trade for the 20-time NBA All-Star forward at the league’s trade deadline on Feb. 8.

In the weeks leading up to the trade deadline, LeBron had indicated he was unhappy with his team’s performance so far this season. Bronny James’ first college season with USC basketball is slowly coming to a close, and needless to say, it’s been underwhelming. He’s struggled to score the basketball and overall has averages of 5.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.

Not exactly great. That raises the question, will Bronny actually declare for the 2024 NBA Draft?

Well, according to his dad LeBron James, the decision is fully up to the youngster as The King alluded to on Sunday before the NBA All-Star Game.

Via Lakers Nation: “It’s up to him. It’s up to the kid (Bronny James). We’re going to go through the whole process. He’s still in season now. He has the Pac-12 tournament coming up. … We’re going to weigh all options, and we’re going to let the kid make the decision.”

Given how he’s played, it’s hard to imagine Bronny going any higher than the second round. Yes, his name is obviously an attraction, but the freshman hasn’t proved that he’s capable of playing at the next level and excelling. He’s failed to do that in college so far.

LeBron has been vocal about playing with Bronny James before he ultimately retires, and if the latter does return to USC for one more year, that could complicate the plan.

But it doesn’t appear The King is planning to call it quits anytime soon. After all, he’s still balling out at 39 years old.

The Trojans are just 4-11 in Pac-12 play and 10-16 overall. At this rate, it’s unlikely they even make the NCAA Tournament, which could’ve been a perfect moment for Bronny to showcase his talents.

‘They’ve been seen each other, but they haven’t been on a proper vacation,’ the source pointed out. ‘They just wanted to get away and relax, just the two of them with no distractions.’

On Thursday, Life & Style revealed that Travis and Taylor had stayed at a luxurious $15,000-a night ‘honeymoon suite’ on Harbour Island’s Rosalita House during their Bahamas vacation. Amenities included a pool, ‘sprawling terraces, lush gardens, and a fully equipped gym, plus a full staff at their disposal.’

What’s more is that Travis and Taylor had gone on a boat ride, too, and were ‘served a romantic meal on the pink sand beach,’ according to the outlet.

‘But most of the time, they were completely alone,’ the same source exclusively told Life & Style, meaning the couple had plenty of time to chat.

‘Travis has been pretty open about how in awe of he is in public, so of course he wears his heart on his sleeve in private,’ the source added.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is sitting out against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night with a left ankle injury.

Coach Darvin Ham called it a “day-to-day thing.”

“When we wake up in the morning we’ll figure it out,” Ham said ahead of his team’s first meeting with the Warriors since a wild 145-144 win in double overtime at Chase Center on Jan. 27. James had a triple-double in that game with 36 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists.

The 39-year-old James has left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, inflammation of the tendons on the outside of his foot. He also sat out Feb. 14 at Utah with the injury ahead of the All-Star break.

James is averaging 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 7.8 assists in his 21st NBA season. Ham said it will be his job to manage both James and center Anthony Davis by “being smart” for the remainder of the regular season to keep them both fresh and healthy.

“No one man puts the cape on. Everyone banding together, doing everything as a unit, as a group,” Ham said of the keys to playing without James. “We have a bunch of guys active tonight that have been playing at a really, really high level. Went into the break playing at a high level and I expect that to continue. Just, again, playing the right way, competing every possession, and covering for one another. Being connected.”

Guard Max Christie was available to play for the Lakers after being listed questionable with a sprained right ankle while forward Cam Reddish was still out because of a sprained right ankle. Big man Christian Wood is dealing with a left knee injury that he hurt during the Utah game and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
