Jason Kelce‘s retirement might not last very long — TMZ Sports has learned the Philadelphia Eagles legend would be welcomed back to WWE with open arms … this after crushing his WrestleMania 40 appearance!!

The elder Kelce bro and his former teammate, Lane Johnson, shocked the Philadelphia crowd on Saturday … when they sprang into action to help Rey Mysterio and his partner Andrade beat his son, Dominik Mysterio, and Santos Escobar in their tag-team match.

Kelce and Johnson found themselves in the middle of the scrap … with Travis‘ bro doing some serious damage on Dom as Rey and Andrade won the match.

The moment Kelce and Johnson revealed their identities was a huge hit with wrestling fans … so naturally, with Jason’s schedule clear now that his football career is over, we asked around to see if Triple H‘s organization was open to more opportunities with the All-Pro center.

Unsurprisingly … it was a resounding “Yes.”

Of course, many folks — including WWE’s The Miz — feel like Kelce would be a great fit with the promotion … especially considering he’s a freak athlete with a larger-than-life personality.

Unclear if Kelce would take WWE up on any future offers — after all, he’s been busy with NFL stuff the past 13 years and deserves a break.

But, if he DOES want to try the wrestling thing out full-time, it sounds like he won’t have to look hard to find a home.

After closing his 13-season NFL career, Jason Kelce plans to shed some weight and explore new hobbies as he lives away from the football field.

On Monday, the former Eagles center held a press conference to announce his retirement from the sport. During the emotional speech, the 36-year-old gave his thanks and reminisced on his fond memories as a player.

On Wednesday’s episode of the New Heights podcast, Jason told his brother Travis about his post-retirement plans. He revealed that, with his duties as a center behind him, he plans to trim down and get in better shape.

‘I’m gonna slim down,’ Jason said. ‘My goal is 250 [lbs]. This last week, I got down to 285 cause I knew I was doing this. And then I had cake for three days in a row.’

Jason also shared his approach on his journey to his desired weight. He revealed that he does not plan on starting an extreme diet but is taking baby steps by tracking his calorie intake.

Kelce also vowed to do more housework and learn new skills such as blacksmithing and wiring

‘I don’t personally subscribe to doing extreme diets like going all the way vegan or all the way carnivore or keto,’ he continued. ‘My man Joe Thomas lost a bunch of weight [and] he’s all keto. And I’m like, ‘Dude more power to you,’ but f**k no, I’m not doing that. He looks fantastic, but it’s not worth, to me, doing that.

‘I downloaded MyFitnessPal and just started tracking calories. I feel like as long as I maintain my protein intake, so I keep my muscle and just kind of limit the calories, you’ll start to lose weight, that’s the plan.’

Aside from setting new fitness goals, Kelce also vowed to learn new skills and hold his weight in doing housework. He praised his wife, Kylie, for her wiring skills and expressed interest in making knives.

‘I’m looking forward to do something that’s not football,’ Jason shared. ‘I’ve been so committed to the sport for so long, it’s embarrassing when your wife knows how to do more housework. Her dad is an electrician, she can fish a wire.’

Travis went on to question Jason’s inability to fish a wire and claimed that he has done the task while fixing his speakers.

‘I’m talking about in walls – she could put in a new outlet if she wanted to,’ Jason said.

‘Shout out to Ky for being the handyman around the hose,’ Travis responded.

‘I like the TV show forged in fire,’ Jason continued. ‘I want to go to a blacksmith and make a knife, that’d be fun.

‘Count me in on that one, don’t do that without me. I’m gonna make a sword,’ Travis suggested.

‘A sword is a whole other undertaking, I don’t know we are good enough to make a sword,’ Jason closed.

Jason Kelce is back on his luchador business, making a surprise appearance at WWE Wrestlemania on Saturday. The legendary Philadelphia Eagles center initially kept his identity under wraps as he crashed the match between Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar, eventually ripping off his mask and his shirt in celebration.

“Isn’t that what’s-her-name’s brother-in-law?” one announcer asked, sheepishly explaining that he’s “a Steeler’s fan” after Jason’s identity was revealed.

Pat McAfee, who was also serving as a commentator of the program, then joyfully burst into a few bars of Taylor Swift’s 2013 hit, “22.”

“Yeah, that’s family,” McAfee replied.

Swift is currently involved in a high-profile romance with Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce. Though, to public knowledge, the couple has not taken their relationship further than the boyfriend-girlfriend stage.

The couple first acknowledged their connection in September when Swift attended one of Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs games. She went on to become a mainstay in Chiefs Kingdom throughout the season, and was by his side as the team won Super Bowl LVIII in February. For his part, Travis has also been seen lending his support on Swift’s Eras tour as he’s attended her shows in Argentina, Australia and Singapore. Travis also famously caught Swift’s performance at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, last summer, after which he revealed on his podcast that he had unsuccessfully attempted to give her his phone number on a friendship bracelet.

Wrestlemania was a star-studded affair in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, over the weekend, with Snoop Dogg, John Cena, and even Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson all showing up.

After the event, Jason took to Instagram to share a collection of pics and videos including one with Johnson. “WHAT A NIGHT,” the caption reads.

Jason and Johnson’s meeting comes after Travis’ management previously revealed that the WWE alum served as something of an inspiration for Travis’ own career trajectory.

During an interview with The New York Times in January, Travis’ manager, André Eanes, recalled the tight end once saying, “Man, I don’t think I’ll ever be as famous as the Rock.”

“We’re like, ‘Yes, you can,’” they replied.

ET later asked Johnson for his take on Travis’ potential in Hollywood during a February interview.

“I wouldn’t bet against Travis Kelce,” he told ET. “Even though he doesn’t have much experience at all in the world of Hollywood and acting, and that’s OK. And the reason why I say I wouldn’t bet against Travis as I wouldn’t bet against any successful athlete, especially at a professional level, is they take that same discipline at their sport and they apply it here. So, the ones that do that you find are the ones that make it.”

Just last week, Travis spoke to ET about “dabbling” in entertainment for his post-football career.

“I’m definitely out here in the entertainment world dabbling around and becoming a professional in that career field,” he shared.
