On an episode of their podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Jason and Travis, 34, joked that the documentary’s success was in part thanks to Travis’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and their then-budding romance.

At the time, Swift, 34, had just begun making appearances at Kansas City Chiefs games to cheer for Travis.

“By the way, the number one documentary of all time [on Amazon Prime] — did you see that, how crazy is that?,” Jason said on the podcast in October. “All because of you and me, doesn’t have anything to do with this Taylor Swift drama,” poking fun at his family’s newfound attention from the singer’s fans.

The 24-year-old center has been making waves, demonstrating his versatility and impact on both ends of the court.

While his statistical averages may not dazzle at first glance, with 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, Queta’s efficiency is undeniable, boasting an impressive 61.4% shooting percentage from the field across 26 games played.

Initially signed to a two-way contract, Queta’s stellar performance and invaluable contributions have warranted a significant upgrade, as the Celtics have now inked him for the remainder of the 2023-2024 NBA season.

This contractual shift paves the way for Queta to make his postseason debut and potentially leave an indelible mark on the playoffs.

Before donning the Celtics green, Queta honed his skills with the Sacramento Kings for two seasons.

During his tenure with the Kings, he showcased glimpses of his potential, averaging 3.8 points and 3.2 rebounds per contest while maintaining an efficient shooting rate of 56.9% from the field across 46 regular-season appearances.

How Celtics Benefit From Inking Two-Way Center To Contract

The Boston Celtics, currently leading the NBA with an outstanding 62-16 record, have been nothing short of dominant throughout the regular season.

With an impressive 8-2 record in their last ten outings and riding high on a five-game winning streak, they enter the playoffs as a formidable force to be reckoned with.

Their recent victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, securing a commanding 124-107 win at home, serves as a testament to their prowess and championship aspirations.

Looking ahead, the Celtics are set to face off against the Milwaukee Bucks in what promises to be another thrilling encounter. As they gear up for the postseason, the Celtics are fueled by a burning desire to reclaim NBA glory, with their last championship triumph dating back to the memorable 2008 season.

Wonderful : Travis Kelce ‘the perfect host’ for ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity’ as an insider reveals Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and Super Bowl winner has made a brilliant first impression during filming…

Travis Kelce is already making a strong early impression at the filming of ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity’ thanks to his hosting skills.

The three-time Super Bowl winner, who is dating Taylor Swift, has started filming for the show – a reboot of Are Your Smarter than a 5th Grader – and the Kansas City Chiefs star has apparently taken to presenting with ease.

US Weekly quoted a source as saying: ‘He’s funny and has the wits for it. He’s the perfect host. It’s a great gig for him.’

The 34-year-old Kelce has some practice when it comes to hosting given that he presents his own New Heights podcast with his older brother Jason.

He also hosted his own Saturday Night Live episode, several months before he met girlfriend Swift, as well as his own dating show years ago called ‘Catching Kelce’.

He has made no secret that once his playing days are over, he would like to move into roles behind the camera.

Speaking before the Super Bowl in February, Kelce told reporters in Las Vegas: ”ll dabble into everything just to see if I have fun doing it.

‘And I know there’s definitely Hollywood talks out there but I’ve been focused on football throughout the season so I’ll probably have a lot of those meetings and conversations when it is all said and done.’

He has spent the last few weeks based in Los Angeles with Swift, after the loved-up couple returned from a romantic getaway in the Bahamas.

It was reported recently that Kelce agreed to host his new television show before his romance with Swift sparked his explosion in fame.

But even if there is a suggestion that Kelce now might have been able to land a bigger gig, it sounds like he is making a strong early start in his new job.

But even if there is a suggestion that Kelce now might have been able to land a bigger gig, it sounds like he is making a strong early start in his new job.

Kelce’s re-boot will be aired on the paid streaming service Amazon Prime Video.

The new format will feature contestants facing off against a group of three celebrities, rather than the previous panel of children in grade school.

When Kelce returns to preseason, he and his Kansas City teammates will be lining up a shot at an historic third Super Bowl triumph.

They went back-to-back last season, beating the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas,

And the year before, Travis beat his brother Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Kristaps Porzingis has been instrumental in bolstering the Boston Celtics’ lineup as they gear up for a promising playoff push in pursuit of Banner 18.

Boston Celtics – NBC Sports Boston

The towering big man recently earned recognition as the NBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Week for his outstanding performances during April 1-7, a period that saw the Celtics secure a perfect 4-0 record.

Despite missing five consecutive games last month due to a hamstring strain, Porzingis showcased his versatility and impact upon his return to action. Averaging 19.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks per game during the award-winning week, Porzingis demonstrated his prowess on both ends of the court, solidifying his role as a key contributor for the Celtics.

Porzingis’ Player of the Week accolade also made history for the 2023-24 Celtics, marking the fourth time a player from the team has received the honor this season. This achievement distinguishes Boston as the first NBA team to have four different players earn Player of the Week recognition in a single year since the award’s inception over four decades ago.

Joining the likes of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Derrick White, Porzingis has fortified the Celtics’ roster with his imposing presence and multifaceted skill set. Standing at 7-foot-2, Porzingis provides valuable contributions on both offense and defense, averaging 20.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game in his inaugural season with Boston.

Teammate Jaylen Brown lauded Porzingis’ impact, particularly emphasizing his defensive prowess and ability to elevate the team’s performance. Brown emphasized the importance of Porzingis’ defensive presence, highlighting his effectiveness in contesting shots at the rim and providing solid interior defense.

As the Celtics prepare for the postseason, Porzingis’ consistent contributions and defensive tenacity are poised to play a pivotal role in their championship aspirations.

Celtics Create Unwanted NBA Record in Loss to Bucks

Sluggish Boston Celtics blown out by Milwaukee Bucks, 104-91 - CelticsBlog

In a game marked by historical significance, the Boston Celtics found themselves on the wrong side of the record books as they suffered a 91-104 defeat against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Notably, the Celtics etched their name in NBA history by becoming the first team ever to play an entire game without attempting a single free throw.

The scarcity of free throw attempts was not limited to the Celtics alone, as both teams combined for a mere two free throw attempts throughout the contest. The Bucks, in particular, only visited the charity stripe twice, converting one of their two shots at a 50% rate.

Celtics Make Rare NBA History by Not Attempting a Single Free Throw vs. Bucks

This marked the lowest tally of free throws in any game since 1983, highlighting the unprecedented nature of the game’s officiating.

The NBA’s post-All-Star break crackdown on easy calls was palpable in this matchup, exemplifying the league’s newfound emphasis on stricter officiating standards. While the Celtics boast a diverse offensive repertoire, their emphasis on efficient three-point shooting often translates into fewer foul opportunities.

Conversely, the Bucks’ disciplined defensive performance ensured minimal unnecessary contact, resulting in the historic low foul count.

Bucks vs. Celtics Final Score & Summary: Beverley Leads Milwaukee to Well-Needed Win - Brew Hoop

In addition to their defensive prowess, the Bucks made history of their own by committing a mere four fouls throughout the game, setting a new NBA record for the lowest number of fouls by a team in a single game.

While such a feat may not have been the primary objective for Bucks head coach Doc Rivers, it underscores the team’s collective defensive discipline and commitment to excellence.

Despite the Celtics’ offensive struggles, highlighted by Jayson Tatum’s 22 points and Jaylen Brown’s modest 14 points and 10 rebounds, the loss serves as a stark reminder of their vulnerabilities.

With potential playoff matchups looming, including the possibility of facing the Bucks once again, the Celtics face mounting pressure to address their shortcomings and reclaim their championship aspirations.

Moreover, the Celtics find themselves in the midst of a narrative battle, seeking to silence their critics and prove their championship credentials. Despite their regular season dominance, skepticism persists regarding their ability to deliver in the postseason, particularly against lower-seeded opponents.

With the postseason on the horizon, the Celtics are keenly aware of the stakes at hand, as they aim to rewrite the narrative and solidify their status as legitimate title contenders.

  • Concerning Response from Devin Booker Following Disappointing Suns Loss Raises Fan Concerns

Concerning Response from Devin Booker Following Disappointing Suns Loss Raises Fan Concerns

Los Angeles Clippers v Phoenix Suns

With every game meaning so much to the Phoenix Suns down the stretch of this regular season, the last thing they wanted to do while having the toughest remaining schedule in the league was gift a game to an opponent.

Yet that is exactly what happened on Wednesday night – in The Valley no less – as the Suns were hammered 105-92 by the visiting L.A. Clippers. An opponent they will see once more before this up-and-down regular season comes to an end. The final score might not look too bad, but this was a game that began with the Clippers incredibly having a 35-4 lead.

It is clear the Suns need their best players to come out and steady the ship in the midst of a disastrous loss and performance, but Devin Booker didn’t exactly do that.

Booker had himself an off night, going 1-for-11 to finish with 12 points in 40 minutes of action. Those nights will happen, but Booker, Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant combining for 10 assists in 119 minutes on the court is unacceptable if this team wants to have any hope of winning. Sharing the ball and finding the open man a concept that alluded them as the Clippers piled on the pressure.

In the aftermath, Booker spoke with the always great Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic, and his response to the line of questioning was not exactly what Suns fans would have wanted to see. Rather than be annoyed, Booker’s laidback response was worrying given the situation the Suns now find themselves in after such a demoralizing loss.

“Chillin’. Another chance tomorrow… I mean I don’t get into the too high and too low thing, just got to take it a day at a time. Next task is tomorrow (against the Clippers) and we’ll cross that bridge once we get there.”

    – Devin Booker

Booker is right not to get too high or low – especially during the regular season – but the nature of this loss to a team that they could see in the postseason is not encouraging. All most fans want to see out of the team that they support, is that they try and win the games they play. They won’t win them all and bad losses happen, but the lack of effort, intensity and afterwards caring is very concerning.

Booker’s demeanour after a game which saw the Suns plummet down to seventh and back into a play-in scrap was questioned by the media, but his response to that was as nonchalant as everything else he had to say.

Lost in the malaise around the defeat was the fact this was the Suns’ last home game of the regular season. Given that there are no guarantees they make the playoffs at this point – although they will likely have a play-in game at the Footprint Center – this was not the lasting memory fans wanted to leave the arena with.

The Suns now have three road games to close out the campaign, against the Clippers, Sacramento Kings and Minnesota Timberwolves. The top team in the West who recently got some good news of their own on the injury front, which would be a disaster for the Suns if they do end up meeting in the postseason.

That Kings game could be a preview into a potential play-in matchup and although the Suns would be favored, their reward for making the playoffs the hard way would be a seven game series against either the Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder or Denver Nuggets. Hardly what was envisioned at the start of the season once Beal joined the fold.

The Clippers are also surging again having now won four games in a row, with the good vibes around this group from their own recent three game win streak now gone. Maybe this is Booker’s way of dealing with the frustrations of a season that has gotten away from the organization, but it should worry fans all the same.

LeBron James On Anthony Davis’ Missing Games: “It’s Impossible To Make Up For What He Provides”

The Lakers fell 120-134 to the Warriors in a massive loss in which Anthony Davis didn’t play due to a headache.

    Credit: Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Lakers fell to their costliest loss of the season tonight against the Warriors, as big man Anthony Davis couldn’t play. LeBron James opened up on Davis’ absence and how it negatively impacted the Lakers in the 120-134 loss.

“It’s pretty much impossible to make up what he provides for our ball club offensively and defensively”

Davis was ruled out with a headache after a troubling week where he also injured his eye. Some fans have speculated that a possible knock to the head could have caused Davis’ headache when he was scratched in the eye or because of a contagious illness, given LeBron missed their last game due to an illness.

The Lakers are meeting obstacles at the worst possible time, as they have just two games left to secure their seed in the Play-In Tournament. A win tonight would have given the Lakers a half-game advantage in No. 8 over the Kings and ensure the Warriors can’t finish ahead of them, but instead, the Lakers now sit half a game behind the Kings and only half a game ahead of the No. 10 seed Warriors.

The Lakers face the Pelicans and Grizzlies to finish their season, with both games being must-win for the franchise if they stand any chance at climbing to No. 8 or even ensuring the Warriors don’t jump them for the No. 9 seed.

The Lakers Are Still Waiting To Be Fully Healthy

A tale as old as time is the Lakers franchise waiting for all their players to be available on the floor together. With players such as Davis and Jarred Vanderbilt still out of the lineup, the team was without their two best defenders, allowing the Warriors to have the greatest team-shooting performance in NBA history.

LeBron still believes in what this group can achieve if they can stay healthy, reiterating the same after the game.

“At the end of the day, we know we’re as good as any team in the league when we’re whole.”

Hoping for health shouldn’t be a strategy for the Lakers right now. Vanderbilt’s injury progress hasn’t been as smooth as most people expected, with the forward still having an unclear return timetable. Davis needs to be back soon, as the Lakers might not be able to withstand a challenging fixture against the Pelicans without Davis.

The Pelicans still have to fight for the No. 6 seed in the West, currently holding the seed ahead of the Phoenix Suns. The Lakers should take care of the Memphis Grizzlies, who recently ruled Jaren Jackson Jr. out for the season as well.

If health falls their way, the Lakers might just be unstoppable. But health is never guaranteed in the NBA and teams need to find a way to succeed without it, like the Mavericks did despite Kyrie Irving’s extended absences at the start of the season or like the Timberwolves right now without Karl-Anthony Towns.

Ayesha Curry and Steph Curry have three children and the oldest, Riley, is now 10 years old, while Ryan is seven and Canon is four.

When it comes to the way they’ve raised RileyAyesha Curry now wishes that she and her husband had adopted a slightly different approach when it comes to social media.

Earlier in the Golden State Warriors player’s career, Riley often made appearances alongside Curry and joined him for some post-game celebrations.

Now, the parents wonder if exposing Riley in that way was the right thing to do, given how social media has developed over the years.

“When the social media thing started, nobody knew what that was going to become,” Ayesha Curry said in an interview with Insider.

“If we had known back in the day just how chaotic it would make life, I don’t think we would’ve done it, but we were just genuinely living our lives back then and thought ‘This is our kid, we’re bringing our kid along’.

“Where’s the middle ground, where we’re strict, but we’re also allowing our kids to experience life?

“We’re trying to figure out what that balance is. Just kind of learn as you go, right?”

Who is Riley Curry, the daughter of Ayesha and Steph Curry?

Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry met when they were teenagers in North Carolina and they got married in 2011, when they were 23 and 22 respectively.

In 2012, their first child, Riley, was born, before Ryan came in 2015 and Canon in 2018.
