As a rule, Swift does not walk red carpets with her boyfriends, and the Met Gala is also sort of a loaded event in the Swift-verse. It’s where she met and danced with Tom Hiddleston, on the same night she met Joe Alwyn, whom she would date right after Hiddleston, and for many years. To put Kelce into the mix might be too much…or a way to wipe the slate clean? He does like clothes.

This year’s dress code is “The Garden of Time,” which can be interpreted in many ways, though we suspect plenty of attendees will take the “garden” part literally with some botanical elements. Swift has attended six Met Galas, looking pretty and polished in a floor-length gown at each, save for the 2016 event, to which she wore a metallic Louis Vuitton minidress and dark lipstick. That’s where she met the aforementioned boys. It’s also the last gala she attended.

If she attends, even solo, it would be a nice way for the billionaire to cap off the promotional run for her 11th album, The Tortured Poets Department, before she goes back on tour. And she’d have her pick of designers to partner with, not having any fashion contracts in place. Personally, fingers crossed that she would go with Gucci, the brand she wore to the Golden Globes. Oh my God, she looked so good in that green dress!

Jason Kelce was given a new moniker when he made a surprise appearance at WWE Wrestlemania Saturday.

Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, recently dished on Travis’ relationship with the pop superstar, admitting that their family wasn’t used to being under such an intense microscope.

“It’s interesting. I am trying to take it in stride and just make sure that as people are talking about me, it’s about important things,” she said on “Today” last week, referencing the Eagles Foundation charity.

Patrick Mahomes is facing an investigation by the NFL following comments made towards the officials in the team’s 20-17 defeat to the Buffalo Bills.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is being investigated after his furious reaction to an offside call that ruled out Kadarius Toney’s potential game-winning touchdown.

The play in question saw Mahomes fire a pass toward Chiefs star Travis Kelce in the final quarter of the game with the Chiefs down 20-17.

In the aftermath of Week 9, it seems as though the public perception of the league’s MVP has shifted away from Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson and toward the direction of Kansas City‘s Patrick Mahomes and Green Bay‘s Aaron Rodgers.

There is also some MVP talk surrounding Minnesota‘s Dalvin Cook and New Orleans‘ Alvin Kamara, but we think a lot would have to happen in the final weeks for this to come to fruition.

As long as Wilson remains on track to throw 50 touchdowns and Rodgers and Mahomes outplay their MVP campaigns of 2011 and 2018, respectively, we still believe it’s a quarterback’s award.

So, how exactly did last week’s play shake out our estimated odds?

Before we get to the rankings, here is a short overview of the methodology:

We trained a model to predict the winner of the MVP award at the conclusion of the regular season. The model is based on three regular-season parameters:

The number of wins (and how that ranks across the league)
Rank in the division
Expected points added per play (and how that ranks across the league)

Since the model works with regular-season stats in hindsight, we need to simulate the remaining games of the season in order to feed the model. We invoke our weekly win-total simulations as well as a Bayesian Updating method to simulate each quarterback’s EPA per play in 2020.
During the season, we update our beliefs on all quarterbacks with Bayesian Updating, incorporating up-to-date EPA per play and making adjustments based on both the PFF passing grade and the quality of defense faced.
Using these updated beliefs, we can simulate the EPA per play for the remainder of the season for each quarterback.
The number of wins and whether a QB wins his division is obtained from our weekly win-total simulations.

DEFENSE ADJUSTMENTS

As we do every week, we will go through the strength of defenses first, explaining how we adjust for each defense before identifying the quarterbacks who played the most difficult schedule (and received the highest positive adjustments).

The recorded strength of each defense leads to the following adjustments for quarterbacks (a positive adjustment means a difficult schedule so far; a negative adjustment means an easy schedule).
