A man was arrested on Wednesday after he climbed tot he top of the Sphere in Las Vegas, according to police.

The person could be seen talking steps across the top before he appeared to descend back inside the exosphere, which is the array of LED nodes that covers the venue.

The man was identified as a Maison DesChamps, who is a pro-life activist. He filmed himself at the top of the 366 foot tall structure and said he was raising money for a homeless pregnant woman.

He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center where he faces multiple charges including Destroying Property of Another, Greater than $5000, and Conspiracy to Destroy Private Property.

This situation comes as Las Vegas prepares to host Super Bowl LVIII, an event that brings heightened security to the area around the Strip and the host venue Allegiant Stadium.

 

Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers is being investigated for an alleged domestic violence incident, Baltimore County Police .

Baltimore PD told The Baltimore Banner tat it had been made aware of an alleged assault in Owings Mills, Maryland on January 21, the day following the Ravens’ AFC Divisional Round victory over the Houston Texans.

In addition, the Baltimore Banner reports that the investigation also involves a police department on Acton, Massachusetts, which also confirmed its awareness of the allegations. Flowers played college football at Boston College, which is located 25 miles from Acton.

The Ravens released a statement on Thursday afternoon: “We are aware of the report regarding Zay Flowers. We take these matters seriously and will have no further comment at this time.”
