Jason, who revealed he’s also been to Coachella several times, offered a slightly more cynical view of the event and joked he needed medication to cope with all the walking.

The retired star added: ‘Dude, the one thing you’ve got to be ready for at Coachella is you’ve got to take your anti-inflammatories.

‘It is some walking and dancing. You’re moving at Coachella, there’s like seven different stages.

In a TikTok post, an influencer named Raymonte responded to claims that he’s too “ghetto,” using Cardi B as an example, who he referred to as “very, very ghetto.”

“She’s way ghettoer than me, she’s way hooder, gangster, greasy [than] me. She was outside with the damn Bloods, and y’all don’t say that this lady is ghetto. Y’all don’t say that she isn’t marketable,” Raymonte continued. “It feels like everyone can be ghetto and Black besides ghetto and Black people. And again, no shade to you, Cardi B, I’m just doing a comparison.”

It didn’t take long for Cardi to respond on her X account, and she had quite the paper trail to back up her rebuttal. “It’s crazy because when I became famous, people said I’m ghetto, talked shit about my accent, call me dumb because the way I speak, say I got no couth, talk about my teeth, my braids, my two buns…,” she wrote.

Here are my takeaways. First, let’s stop using “ghetto” as a pejorative term. It’s clear to me it’s used as a placeholder for other derogatory terms to describe people of color. Second, let’s stop trying to disguise our disdain for certain female rap personas as anything but misogyny. Whenever we talk about etiquette or bad representation, we start naming Sexyy Red, Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Cardi B, and Nicki Minaj and forget the hundreds of rambunctious men in the same category.

“Both of us know nothing about the other; you know nothing about me.” After that moment, we simply felt as though we came from comparable origins; we both grew up in the hood and shared a broken family home. As a result, we became acquainted prior to basketball. “I was in search of a relationship akin to brotherhood.”

Since that momentous first encounter, the two individuals have maintained a strong friendship. In 2003, much adversity surrounded the prediction of the first overall pick in the draft. The Cleveland Cavaliers ultimately selected LeBron, while Melo was at third overall and was selected by the Denver Nuggets. After nearly twenty years have passed, the acquaintances are once again colleagues and will line up for the Los Angeles Lakers in the same lineup for the upcoming season. Finally, after much anticipation, Anthony and James have reached a juncture where their paths converge.

Despite being the oldest player currently playing in the NBA, James is still one of the most powerful players. The King still has a ton of records and honors to pursue in his twenty-first season.

There have been many humorous and imaginative nicknames in the history of basketball, but none have been as true or ominous as those given to LeBron James as a freshman at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School.

Exalted titles for someone so young, for sure, but James has undoubtedly lived up to the anticipation – and then some.

James, who is 38 years old, has achieved every possible victory in the world of professional basketball. The fact that James, the oldest player on an NBA roster right now, is still one of the most dominant players in the game is incredible; it’s not particularly unique that he’s won championships, Olympic gold medals, and individual accolades at his ‘advanced’ age (at least in terms of professional basketball).
