Jason Kelce only figured out his WrestleMania role TWO HOURS before surprise appearance in Philadelphia… as brother Travis jokes he and Lane Johnson ‘looked like a tag team nobody wanted to f**k with’

Jason Kelce claims he and Lane Johnson only discovered the full extent of their WrestleMania cameo roles two hours before the show got underway this month.

Kelce and former Eagles teammate Johnson stunned fans when they emerged from the crowd at WrestleMania 40 – WWE‘s annual showpiece event.

The pair initially donned Mexican wrestling masks while attacking Dom Mysterio in his tag-team match against legendary father Rey, before revealing their identities to the crowd in Philadelphia.

After helping Rey and tag-team partner Andrade claim the win over Dom and Santos Escobar, Kelce ripped off his shirt and climbed up on the turnbuckle as all four men celebrated the victory.

The retired NFL legend opened up on his WrestleMania appearance on the latest episode of his and brother Travis’ New Heights podcast, describing the feeling of performing in front of 80,000 fans as ‘pretty awesome’.

Travis concluded about his double act with Johnson: ‘You guys looked like a tag team nobody wanted to f**k with.’

Despite agreeing to feature in the show long before, Jason was unaware of the exact roles he and Johnson would enjoy when he made his way to Lincoln Financial Field that night.

‘We knew that we were gonna be involved with these masks, but we didn’t really find out the full extent until pretty much two hours before the show,’ he revealed. ‘There’s a backstage area where you’re figuring stuff out.

‘We knew we were on Rey’s team, they didn’t have to tell us that. So from there it was just operation get it done.’

Travis then joked about the 5ft 6in wrestling icon: ‘I thought Rey Mysterio was gonna be way smaller. You and Rey Mysterio are the exact same size.’

Back in January, Jason also whipped off his shirt while in the stands watching Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff game against the Buffalo Bills, with his shirtless celebrations going viral on social media.

And he couldn’t resist doing the same at WrestleMania, despite not wanting to steal American comedian Bert Kreischer’s shtick.

‘I think Lane wanted to take his shirt off, so then I ripped mine off like the Hulkster [Hulk Hogan],’ Jason added.

Jason admits he couldn't resist the urge to rip off his shirt like wrestling legend Hulk Hogan

‘I was trying to keep my shirt off because I feel like I’m stealing Bert Kreischer’s bit – and I don’t want to steal your bit Bert.

‘But I feel like this was an acceptable time to have your shirt off.’

Both Jason and Travis were WWE fans as kids, with the pair naming Rey Mysterio as one of their favorite wrestlers growing up.

The Chiefs star concluded about his brother’s appearance in Philadelphia: ‘It was fun as hell watching you up there knowing that we used to f**k around as WWE jabronis as kids man.

‘It was cool to see you up there having some fun.’

Rihanna appeared with ASAP Rocky in a striking white bridal outfit at the 2023 Met Gala, although arriving two hours late still took the spotlight

According to Life & Style Magazine, Rihanna and her beau A$AP Rocky were the last to grace the Met Gala red carpet, arriving approximately two and a half hours later than their peers, and nearly four hours after the red carpet commenced. Nevertheless, they stole the spotlight as the “latecomer bosses” of the fashion soiree, donning daring ensembles that captivated every eye.

The expectant mother Rihanna stunneԀ in a remarkable white gown from Valentino, adorned with oversized floral patterns. The Diamonds singer accessorized with fingerless gloves, a beloved accessory of designer Karl Lagerfeld, perfectly in tune with the theme of this year’s Met Gala. Later, the songstress boldly shed her cloak, revealing her burgeoning baby bump.

As for A$AP Rocky, the male rapper exuded sophistication in a classic ensemble, sporting a tuxedo jacket inspired by Lagerfeld. The couple held hands steadfastly as they stepped onto the red carpet, causing paparazzi and fans alike to erupt in excitement.

Rihanna has always held a special place in the heart of Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue and co-chair of the Met Gala. In 2022, when Rihanna was unable to attend the Met Gala due to her pregnancy, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and Vogue collaborated to create a statue honoring the singer. The statue was sculpted in her likeness from the Vogue magazine cover where she proudly showcased her baby bump.

  • Jason Kelce claims Lionel Messi playing for Argentina is ‘different’ than in MLS with Inter Miami after he dazzled at the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium… but brother Travis insists ‘it’s all about the Premier League dude’

Jason Kelce claims Lionel Messi playing for Argentina is ‘different’ than in MLS with Inter Miami after he dazzled at the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium… but brother Travis insists ‘it’s all about the Premier League dude’

Jason Kelce insisted that watching Lionel Messi in Inter Miami is not the same as his days in Europe and leading the Argentina national team.

On the latest edition of the New Heights podcast, Jason and brother Travis raved over the NFL scheduling the Eagles-Packers game in Brazil this season. As a result, Jason began raving about soccer and the difference between MLS and other competitions.

Jason, who earlier talked about his experience watching the 2016 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, kept his stance after Travis raved about Messi’s recent game in Kansas City.

‘I’ll tell you what though, Messi played in Kansas City this past weekend,’ Travis shared. ‘He played in Arrowhead, actually.’

Jason said: ‘It’s not the same being in the MLS,’ to which Travis replied: ‘Why is it not? Don’t s**t on the MLS, don’t do this, Jason.’

Travis Kelce challenged his brother’s take and defended MLS on the New Heights podcast

‘I’m not sh****ng on the MLS,’ Jason continued. ‘I’m saying it’s not international soccer. When you think of soccer, I know there’s all these wonderful clubs overseas, there’s the MLS, I think of the World Cup, that’s all I’m saying. It’s international play and then everything else.’

While his older brother raved about international competitions, the three-time Super Bowl champion insisted ‘it’s all about the Premier League.’

However, after Travis stood his ground on defending Major League Soccer, Jason remained adamant that the level of play in the US is not the same as Messi’s previous competitions.

‘I didn’t say I won’t watch it (MLS),’ Jason insisted. ‘I’m just saying it wasn’t the same level. Seeing Messi play for Miami is not the same as when he played in Barcelona or when he was at the world stage at the World Cup. That’s all I’m saying – it’s not the same.’

After leading Argentina to the FIFA World Cup title in 2023, the Argentine shocked the sporting world by leaving Paris Saint Germain and joining David Beckham’s club in Fort Lauderdale.

Upon his entry, Messi led The Herons to their first club title by winning the inaugural Leagues Cup. He also led Inter Miami to the US Open Cup Final within months of arriving.

‘Seeing Michael Jordan on the golf course is not the same as seeing Jordan in a Bulls uniform,’ Jason said, prompting Travis to burst into laughter.

‘You see one person on the biggest stage possible, with the biggest team in history,’ he explained. ‘This is the best soccer player at the World Cup. That’s different than seeing Lionel Messi tearing it up in Kansas City, just saying.’

Travis continued to push back and compared Messi’s MLS venture to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish goal-scorer played for Inter, Milan, Barcelona, and PSG before finding himself with the LA Galaxy from 2018-2020.

‘Dude, it’s the same – it’s Lionel Messi,’ Travis said. ‘It was the same as when Ibrahimovic went f***ing crazy in LA. It’s great, it’s electric. He made the MLS fun to watch.’

‘I’m not saying it’s not good for MLS, I’m not saying it’s not great, I’m saying it’s not as good,’ Jason replied. ‘I’m not saying it sucks that he’s playing in Miami, it’s awesome for the MLS, it’s great for American soccer.

‘I’m just saying it’s nowhere near when he scores a goal for Argentina and the entire country is erupting and cheers because it means more to Argentina than any other sport on the planet.’

The singer and businessman Rihanna and her lover A$AP Rocky had their kid (nаme not yet disclosed) in May 2022, and she believes he has transformed her life. “Everything is different,” she said. “Life before my kid seems so far and hazy; it seems like it was a long time ago. minuscule and foggy. With him, everything only got better. Things improved. Nothing is more rewarding than that, even though it requires a lot of effort.”

After seeing RiRi caressing her tummy during the halftime show, people conjectured about a second pregnancy, which the singer and A$AP later confirmed. Fans may have to wait a bit longer for that much awaited next album because of her billiоn-dollar enterprises, an Oscar nomination, a nearly one-year-old kid, and an impending baby.

In an interview with Michael Strahan of Good Morning America, Rihanna did admit, however, that she is aware that her fans are craving “more.” “I’m eager to release new music, but I don’t have any updates at this time,” she said in the video that went up on Monday morning after the big game.

She was very open about how “foreign” it felt to be performing again after a lengthy break of years. “I felt like I had to overcome a lot of obstacles to even be able to do this,” she said. “I had not gone on tour for seven years, and I had literally just become a mother. And thus to the Suρer Bowl from there. It was one of those tasks I anticipated being difficult.”

Travis Kelce warns Louis Rees-Zammit his move to Kansas City will be ‘HUMBLING’ early on as he swaps rugby for football… but brother Jason believes he has potential to be ‘the most marketable player of ALL TIME’

Travis Kelce has warned new Chiefs teammate Louis Rees-Zammit to be ready for a ‘humbling experience’ in Kansas City later this year.

Rees-Zammit, a former rugby star for Wales, put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Super Bowl champions last month after making a shock switch to football.

After impressing at the International Player Pathway program, the 23-year-old held contract talks with several teams before eventually accepting a reported $884,000 deal in Kansas City.

Rees-Zammit was listed as a running back by the Chiefs following his arrival, but later revealed that he is likely to be used primarily as a kick-off returner next season.

And ahead of his sensational move from rugby to NFL, he has received some words of warning from Kelce.

‘But it’s gonna be a tough few months for him here while he’s getting acclimated to the NFL. We’ve been doing this since we were kids, so we’re gonna have those little instincts that we’ve built over the years that he’s got to catch up with.’

Despite admitting his initial concern for the new Kansas City arrival, Kelce is already relishing the prospect of playing alongside Rees-Zammit in the future, while insisting he is ‘as suave as it gets’.

‘I really just enjoy the guy’s energy so far,’ he continued. ‘He’s super excited about the opportunity that he’s been given, knowing that not everybody gets these opportunities.

‘He was an absolute star in the European rugby league he was in. So for him to make the jump and try and go from Wales to Kansas City man… it’s a pretty ballsy move and a pretty bold move to be making man.’

Kelce also added: ‘The biggest advice I gave him was just try not to let it overwhelm you as much as it can, and know that everybody believes that you have the potential to be able to play. So absorb as much as you can, learn as much as you can in the short time you have before the season.’

Having only just turned 23, and given his unusual career path, Rees-Zammit could go on to become one of the NFL’s biggest names if he proves as talented on the football field as he did on the rugby pitch.

Travis' brother Jason says Rees-Zammit could become 'the most marketable player of all time'

Travis’ brother Jason believes he has is a potential superstar in the making, saying about the NFL’s recent addition: ‘Listen, I’m excited. I know it’s gonna be a learning curve, [but] I hope this guy takes the world by a f****ng storm. It will be electric.

‘With a smile like that, this guy… if he works out, he’s gonna be the most marketable player of all time.’

Rees-Zammit reportedly met with Super Bowl winning coach Andy Reid and his staff – a privilege not always afforded to young prospects eyeing a contract with a team.

‘Everyone’s goal is obviously to win a Super Bowl,’ he told Mail Sport last month. ‘But I need to find a team that’s right for myself and for the franchise. As long as the team has a good plan and we’re on the same page, that’s all that matters.’

He added: ‘I need an opportunity to show what I can do. I feel ready to be honest with you. I know what I’ve got to focus on and that’s training hard and learning everything I can in the classroom.’

Devin Booker Credits Early-Career Advice from Kobe Bryant for Helping Him Maintain Court Durability

Devin Booker told Insider that he regularly consulted Kobe Bryant for career advice.

Booker said guidance from Bryant inspired him to revamp his diet and cut out fast foods.

Booker says he works with a private chef and incorporates foods like whole grains into his meals.

Devin Booker said that advice he got from Kobe Bryant early in his career motivated him to improve his diet, which he says has led to more durability on the court.

The Phoenix Suns’ star guard told Insider that he used to follow a diet that included a lot of fast food, especially his favorite chicken from the fast-food chain Raising Cane’s.

“My diet hasn’t always been the best. I would gravitate towards fried food like chicken fingers and have my favorite fast-food restaurants lined up on my Postmates,” Booker said

But a few years into his career, Booker said Bryant gave him tips on how to be a top NBA player, which inspired him to revamp his diet and lifestyle to help stay healthy.

Now Booker said he works with a private chef and incorporates whole grains, complex carbs, and lean proteins into his meals.

Still, every once in a while, Booker will treat himself to Raising Cane’s as a cheat meal, he said.

Booker, who leads the Suns in scoring with 26.7 points per game, said Bryant emphasized the importance of sacrifice as a team leader and athlete. The 25-year-old said that advice has helped him become a durable star point guard for the Suns. He’s second on the team in both minutes played with 34.4 per game and starts with 67.

“Kobe told me there are no steps skipped in achieving greatness at the highest level,” Booker said. “In terms of dieting and working out, it’s just about sacrifice. You have to sacrifice things you want.”

Booker also said he admires the career longevity of his teammate and 36-year-old NBA veteran Chris Paul, who follows a vegan diet. Booker said that at some point later in his career he would consider switching to a vegan diet himself.

Booker said he also cut sugary sports drinks out of his diet and now only drinks water and coconut water. He also founded his own coconut water brand, Coco5.

“Coconut water has checked off so many boxes for me when it comes to meeting performance goals. The taste is not only great, but it’s incredible to be able to replenish with that many electrolytes,” Booker said.

  • 7 MINUTES AGO: Jason Kelce CONFRONTS Kim Kardashian For Taking A Dig At Taylor Swift

7 MINUTES AGO: Jason Kelce CONFRONTS Kim Kardashian For Taking A Dig At Taylor Swift

Seven minutes ago, Jason Kelce confronted Kim Kardashian for taking a jab at Taylor Swift. It’s surreal when you dedicate your life and energy to being a good person, a role model, and making the right decisions, only for people to fabricate things about you.

It’s offensive and frankly scary how easily rumors spread on the internet. The world of celebrities often feels like a never-ending drama series, and today’s episode features Jason Kelce stepping into the ring to defend Taylor Swift against Kim Kardashian’s recent criticism.

This feud has a long history, with memorable confrontations between Taylor Swift and the influential couple, Kardashian and West. From Taylor facing online hate alone to now finding support in Travis, the dynamics have shifted. But brace yourselves for more drama as Kelce addresses Kardashian’s recent TikTok antics, where Taylor Swift was openly mocked. Though the post was swiftly removed, the damage was done, sparking intense speculation and debate among fans.

Reddit became the battleground for fans dissecting North and Kim’s actions, pondering whether it was a mistake or intentional. Amidst the chaos, questions arose about how much North knows about her parents’ feud with Taylor Swift, reminding everyone of the longstanding tensions between the two camps.

Taylor Swift didn’t hold back, openly criticizing Kim Kardashian for past actions that drove her into hiding and affected her mental health. The fallout from their public dispute seemed like the end of Taylor’s career, but she persevered, finding solace in her music and support from Travis.

Travis emerges as Taylor’s steadfast ally, shielding her from trolls and ensuring she finds joy amidst the chaos. Their recent luxurious vacation in the Bahamas couldn’t have come at a better time, offering a much-needed break from their hectic schedules.

Courtney Love Says Taylor Swift Is “Not Important” She also says Swift is “not interesting as an artist”

Courtney Love could have a cruel summer running into Swifties after saying their favorite artist Taylor Swift is neither important nor interesting.

In a new interview with The Standard promoting Love’s BBC Radio series celebrating women in music (oh, the irony), the Hole singer didn’t have kind words to say about Swift. “Taylor is not important,” she said. “She might be a safe space for girls, and she’s probably the Madonna of now, but she’s not interesting as an artist.”

Making room to piss off another fanbase, Love also said Beyoncé isn’t her cup of tea — though she appreciates the “concept” of Queen Bey’s latest album, COWBOY CARTER. “I like the idea of Beyoncé doing a country record because it’s about Black women going into spaces where previously only white women have been allowed,” she explained. “I just don’t like her music.”

Love has even soured on Lana Del Rey, whom she once called one of the only “two true musical geniuses” next to her late husband Kurt Cobain: “I haven’t liked Lana since she covered a John Denver song, and I think she should really take seven years off. Up until ‘Take Me Home Country Roads’ I thought she was great.”

However, Love does shower praise on artists such as Patti Smith, Nina Simone, PJ Harvey, Julie London, Joni Mitchell, and Debbie Harry. Without a hint of self-awareness, she also said her show was meant to “redeem some of the women who have been treated so badly by the record industry,” adding, “Women are still marginalized in this industry, even though they’re more successful.”

Whether or not you agree with Love’s assessment of Swift’s music, there’s no disputing her impact on music. Earlier this year, she became the first artist to win four Album of the Year Grammys ahead of her upcoming LP, The Tortured Poets Department, which will break all sorts of records when it arrives this Friday.

But to be fair to Love, she is giving a subjective opinion about not finding Swift’s music interesting, and there’s room for debate about whether she is as innovative as the other artists who have impacted Love’s life.

Next month, Swift will kick off the European and UK leg (get tickets here) of her “Eras Tour” with Paramore. Later this year, she’ll head out on a North American run (grab your seats here) with Gracie Abrams.

Nikola Jokic On LeBron James Ahead Of Playoff Matchup: “He’s A Monster. I Really Appreciate Him.”…

Nikola Jokic got real on LeBron James and his ability after the game, praising the 39-year-old Lakers star ahead of their playoff matchup.

Nikola Jokic On LeBron James Ahead Of Playoff Matchup: "He's A Monster. I Really Appreciate Him."

    Credit: Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Nikola Jokic spoke to the media ahead of the Nuggets vs. Lakers first-round playoff series. Jokic was asked about Lakers star LeBron James and the Serbian center made it clear he has nothing but respect for LeBron.

“The guy is amazing. The things he’s doing on the court are really… He’s in the game in so many different ways, not just scoring. He can score from any position basically. He’s a monster. I really appreciate him. I really respect him. I think he’s a very good basketball player, probably one of the best. I really respect him and enjoy playing against the best.”

    (Starts at 3:23)

Many have assumed that Jokic will feel comfortable heading into this series because of the Nuggets 7-0 record over the Lakers over the last year. However, the reigning Finals MVP made it clear that the Lakers have been their most competitive opponent over the last year and that the win-loss record is misleading.

“I think every game in the playoff series was really tough, it could have gone either way. It was probably the toughest series we had. Yes, we beat them 4-0, but they’re a really talented team. Well-built, they have a couple of guys. I have huge respect for them and I think it’ll be an interesting series/round.”

Jokic averaged 27.8 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 11.8 assists against the Lakers over the 2023 series. He’s averaging 29.3 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 9.0 assists in three games this season, so he’ll be confident and comfortable in his ability to handle the Lakers once again.

LeBron won’t make it easy for Jokic, but the Nuggets have proved themselves to be a class apart.

Michael Malone Is Confident About Another Series Win

Nuggets head coach Michael Malone also discussed the series during media interactions today. Malone was far more direct than Jokic about his belief that the Nuggets would win, calling LeBron James old and calling Jokic better than Anthony Davis.

“We swept them last year. We swept them this year. We swept them last year. We swept them this year. Darvin Ham said they not ducking no fades, but that doesn’t mean they won’t catch one. What can AD do with Jokic and LeBron is my age… They come in playing really well and hungry. They want to flip that script. Our players understand that. We know them, they know us. We know what to expect.”

This matchup won’t be easy for the Lakers but they will do everything in their power to make sure this season goes in their favor. The Nuggets match up really well against them, negating their size advantage while also having more consistent shooting around their stars.

Michael Malone has outcoached Darvin Ham before and will hope his magic touch stays over the franchise as they head into a campaign to become the first back-to-back champion in the NBA since the Warriors won the 2018 title.
