“Man do I love them 🥹,” Brittany fondly wrote over her Instagram Story photo.

The mom of two smiled in the pic as she held Sterling and Bronze in what appeared to be her lounge room. The little girl could be seen helping her mom carry the load as she adorably had her arms wrapped around her younger brother.

In an earlier photo shared on Friday, Brittany referred to her 3-year-old daughter as, “My teenager 🥹,” in the caption — suggesting that the little girl is growing up quickly — as Sterling sat outstretched on a couch wearing a nude-colored sweater and black and white track pants, with her arms raised over her head.

She posted a second photo of the little girl as she continued to chill on the couch while tagging her husband and adding the emojis, “🥹.”

On Tuesday, Brittany posted a beaming selfie with a bare face after sharing photos of her in full glam for a family photo shoot. Alongside the snaps she wrote in the caption, “But just here for your daily reality check.”

“Actually, really struggling with my skin right now trying to figure out why it’s just breaking out all around my mouth,” she continued.

Brittany went on to share her theory that she might have had an allergic reaction to something, causing her breakouts, though she added that she “cannot figure it out.”

The mom of two posted a second photo with the camera zoomed in to show the redness and small bumps on her upper lip and on her chin. “Any tips send them my way…thanks friends,” she wrote with a smiley face emoji.

  • Exploring how Patrick Mahomes’s upbringing set the stage for his NFL triumphs.

Exploring how Patrick Mahomes’s upbringing set the stage for his NFL triumphs.

How Patrick Mahomes’s Childhood Shaped His Football Journey

Patrick Mahomes is one of the most talented and exciting quarterbacks in the NFL today. As the star quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, Mahomes has established himself as a true superstar, winning both a Super Bowl and Super Bowl MVP in just his first few seasons as a starter. However, Mahomes’s path to becoming an NFL star quarterback was paved early on through his unique childhood experiences growing up in Texas surrounded by sports. His athletic background and exposure to professional athletes from a young age helped shape him into the player he is today.

    Sports from a Young Age

Patrick Mahomes was born in Tyler, Texas in 1995. From a very young age, he was immersed in the world of sports thanks to his athletic family. Mahomes’s father, Pat Mahomes Sr., played professional baseball for 11 seasons as a pitcher in the major leagues. Having a father who was a professional athlete naturally instilled a strong love and passion for sports in young Patrick.

Mahomes didn’t just watch sports from the sidelines either – he was actively participating from a young age. In addition to baseball, which he grew up playing and practicing with his father, Mahomes also took up basketball and football. He excelled at multiple sports from an early age, showing a natural athletic talent and competitiveness. By middle school, Mahomes was starting to focus more on football, though he still played various sports throughout his childhood to continue developing his overall athletic abilities.

    Learning from the Pros

Perhaps the biggest influence on Mahomes’s development though was getting to learn directly from professional athletes at a young age thanks to his father’s career. As an MLB player, Pat Mahomes Sr. spent time around other major leaguers, and his son Patrick often tagged along. Mahomes was able to meet and interact with star players like Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter. He likely picked up valuable lessons and tips just from observing their work ethic and dedication to their craft.

Mahomes’s godfather was also a former major league pitcher, LaTroy Hawkins. Getting to know Hawkins and other pro athletes on a personal level provided Mahomes unique exposure and insights into what it takes to succeed at the highest levels of sports. He got to see firsthand the training, preparation, and mindset required. These experiences very likely had a profound impact on shaping Mahomes’s own approach and drive to excel.

    Versatility Through Multiple Sports

Being exposed to multiple sports from a young age through high school helped develop Mahomes’s overall athleticism and hand-eye coordination in beneficial ways. Playing baseball, basketball, and football honed his versatility and movement skills. It’s this type of diverse athletic background that allowed Mahomes to translate those abilities to the quarterback position.

His time spent in various sports also improved his competitiveness. Having to learn different techniques and strategies across multiple sports built up his competitive instincts and mental toughness. It prepared him for the pressure of performing at high levels of competition as he progressed into his football career.

    Early Exposure to High Achievement

Getting to observe professional athletes up close as a kid through his father likely fueled Mahomes’s competitive fire and desire to achieve great things himself. He saw the dedication, commitment, and skills it took to succeed at sports’ highest level. Watching pro baseball players likely instilled in Mahomes the mindset to constantly work to improve and reach his maximum potential.

This early exposure may have been formative in shaping Mahomes’s dream of one day playing professionally. By witnessing firsthand what it took to make it in professional sports, Mahomes was inspired to pursue greatness in his own athletic journey. The competitive drive and work ethic of the pros he observed seemed to rub off on the young, impressionable Mahomes.

    Early Focus on Baseball

While excelling in various sports throughout his childhood, Mahomes’s athletic future initially seemed destined for baseball due to his father’s MLB background. Many coaches saw Mahomes’s baseball talents and projected him as a future college and pro baseball player. He spent much of his early years training and practicing baseball with his father.

However, as Mahomes entered high school, his passion and skill for football began to take hold. Though still playing baseball, he started to gravitate more towards quarterbacking on the gridiron. By his junior year of high school, Mahomes had emerged as the starting QB at Whitehouse High School in Texas. He began putting up eye-popping stats that caught the attention of college football programs.

    High School Success

In his junior campaign as the full-time starting quarterback, Mahomes threw for over 4,000 yards and 50 touchdowns. He led his Whitehouse Wildcats team to the playoffs. College recruiters took notice of Mahomes’s pro-style passing abilities and athleticism. Schools like Texas Tech, Kansas, and Kansas State all recruited Mahomes, seeing his potential.

Ultimately, Mahomes committed to playing football for Texas Tech. In Lubbock, under head coach Kliff Kingsbury, Mahomes truly began to blossom. He put up video game-like numbers in his two seasons as the Red Raiders’ starter, throwing for over 11,000 yards and 93 touchdowns. Mahomes won numerous Big 12 awards and established himself as one of the top quarterback prospects in college football.

His breakout high school junior season was the catalyst that helped shift Mahomes’s trajectory from baseball to football. It set him on the path to becoming a star college quarterback and eventual first round NFL draft pick by the Kansas City Chiefs.

    NFL Stardom

After sitting his rookie season behind veteran Alex Smith, Mahomes took over as Kansas City’s starter in 2018. He immediately put the league on notice by throwing for over 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns in his first season as a starter – both league records. Mahomes led the Chiefs to the AFC Championship game in just his first year as a starter.

The following season in 2019, Mahomes cemented himself as the NFL’s brightest young star. He guided Kansas City to a Super Bowl LIV victory over the San Francisco 49ers, winning Super Bowl MVP honors in the process. At just 25 years old, Mahomes had already achieved the pinnacle of success in the NFL. He had signed a 10-year contract extension making him the league’s highest-paid player ever.

Mahomes has continued playing at an MVP level the past two seasons, leading the Chiefs to back-to-back Super Bowl appearances while establishing himself as the face of the NFL. At only 27 years old, he is well on his way to a potential Hall of Fame career. Mahomes’s unique path to stardom was shaped by his athletic upbringing surrounded by sports from a young age. Experiences like learning from his father and other pros helped groom Mahomes into the elite quarterback he is today.

    Conclusion

Patrick Mahomes’s journey to becoming one of the NFL’s premier quarterbacks and a Super Bowl champion was paved early on through his unique childhood experiences growing up in Texas. Being immersed in sports from a very young age thanks to his father’s professional baseball career helped develop Mahomes’s natural athletic talents. Playing multiple sports enhanced his versatility and competitiveness.

Perhaps most importantly, Mahomes’s exposure to professional athletes like his godfather and MLB stars provided him early lessons on work ethic and the mindset needed to perform at the highest levels. Seeing greatness up close seems to have fueled Mahomes’s own dreams of achieving sports excellence. His breakout high school football career shifted his trajectory towards the NFL.

Through natural athletic gifts cultivated further by diverse childhood experiences, Mahomes developed into a record-breaking college quarterback. He’s carried that success over to the pros with the Kansas City Chiefs. At just 27 years old, Mahomes is already considered one of the best quarterbacks ever and seems destined for a Hall of Fame career. His unique path shaped by childhood experiences surrounding sports laid the foundation for greatness.

Travis Kelce reacts shockingly to Taylor Swift writing a song about her ex Joe Alwyn..

Travis Kelce reportedly has “zero concern” that his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, may have drawn inspiration from past relationships for her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” “If it is about Joe [Alwyn], or anyone, even if it is about him in the future, this is the artist she is and he is in love with her and doesn’t pay any attention to be jealous,” a source familiar with the matter told the Daily Mail on Thursday.

“He understands this is a major part of what makes her the person and artist she is and he is no way looking to thwart the direction she takes.” The insider added that Kelce, 34, is “100 percent” supportive of Swift’s artistic decisions, which she has described to him, and that he “loves everything she is doing.”

“They have talked about the album and what the songs are all about,” the person continued. “Joe or any of her exes is not of concern to him whatsoever.” Swift, also 34, dated Alwyn, 33, for six years before the couple split in early 2023. The duo had a strong relationship and were even rumored to be engaged at one time. When Swift unveiled her eleventh studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February, fans immediately recognized that the title was likely a reference to the British actor.

As one Swiftie pointed out at the time, Alwyn had previously revealed in an interview with GQ UK that he had a group chat with friends Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott called the Tortured Man Club. Swift, of course, has a history of penning songs about her ex-partners and blasting them in the process.

The pop star’s song “Style” is said to be about Harry Styles, “All to Well” is about Jake Gyllenhaal, “Dear John” is about John Mayer, and “Back to December” is about Taylor Lautner. Swifties have already urged Alwyn to “count [his] days” after seeing some of the horrific titles on the 17-song track list for “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Some of the eye-catching titles include “So Long, London,” “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys,” “But Daddy, I Love Him,” and “I Can Fix Him (No Seriously, I Can).”

At a recent pop-up in Los Angeles to promote the album, fans discovered an open book that read, “Even statues crumble / If they’re made to wait,” which they understood as a reference to Alwyn.

  • SHOCKING NEWS!!! NFL levies a staggering $1 billion fine against Andra Day for her rendition of the Black National Anthem at Super Bowl LVIII

SHOCKING NEWS!!! NFL levies a staggering $1 billion fine against Andra Day for her rendition of the Black National Anthem at Super Bowl LVIII

Andra Day is fined $1 billion by the NFL for singing the Black National Anthem during Super Bowl LVIII.

The National Football League (NFL) has imposed an unprecedented $1 billion fine on the celebrated singer Andra Day for her singing of Black National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” during Super Bowl LVIII. That has sent a shockwaves through the worlds of sports, music, and societal discourse, This moment move has sparked intense debate, leading to critical discussions on cultural expression, the role of sports in society, and the boundaries of free speech.

Andra Day, known for her soulful voice and artistic depth, took the stage at Super Bowl LVIII, a global platform viewed by millions. Her performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” intended to celebrate unity and diversity, was moving and impactful, echoing with historical significance and the ongoing fight for racial equality.

The aftermath, however, has been anything but harmonious. The NFL’s decision to levy a staggering $1 billion fine represents an unmatched moment in the league’s history and has kindled a nationwide conversation about the intersection of sports, politics, and cultural identity.

The reasoning behind the fine is as intricate as it is contentious. The NFL has traditionally emphasized non-political, universally appealing content for Super Bowl performances. Still, this hefty fine indicates a firm stance against what the league views as a deviation from its established norms.

Critics argue that the fine extends beyond rule enforcement, illuminating deeper issues within the NFL’s approach to social and racial issues. They highlight the league’s troubled history with racial equality, including the treatment of protesting players and the lack of diversity in leadership and teams.

To fully understand the impact of Day’s performance and the ensuing controversy, one must comprehend the cultural and historical significance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” often referred to as the Black National Anthem. Its inclusion in Super Bowl LVIII was seen as a step towards acknowledging the diverse tapestry of American culture and the ongoing struggle for racial equality.

The decision to fine Day for singing this anthem resonates beyond sports, touching on broader societal issues and the ongoing debate over America’s racial past and present. It raises crucial questions about who determines acceptable expressions of cultural identity, particularly in influential and widely viewed spaces like the Super Bowl.

Responses to the NFL’s fine have been quick and divided. Supporters argue for the Super Bowl as a politically neutral space, free from performances that might alienate parts of the audience, asserting the NFL’s right to enforce policies for broad appeal.

Critics view the fine as an overreach and an act of censorship undermining free expression and racial inclusivity. They argue that “Lift Every Voice and Sing” is not just a song but a crucial part of American history deserving recognition, especially on a platform as significant as the Super Bowl.

The controversy sparks a broader discussion about major sports leagues addressing social issues. With athletes and performers using their platforms for activism, the NFL’s decision raises questions about the balance between entertainment and activism, and the space for racial and cultural expression in sports.

The fallout continues with legal challenges, public protests, and debates, reflecting the complex interplay between cultural expression, corporate power, and social justice. Amidst this, the controversy serves as a reminder of the power of art and performance to evoke emotion, provoke thought, and spark change. It underscores the need for ongoing dialogue on the values we hold dear, the boundaries of free expression, and the role of sports in shaping societal norms.

In the end, Andra Day’s Super Bowl performance and the subsequent controversy might be remembered not just for the fine or the song, but for the wider conversation it ignited about race, identity, and unity in a diverse and constantly evolving America. Looking ahead, there’s optimism that this moment will lead to a deeper comprehension and increased inclusivity, not only within the realm of sports but also beyond. This incident serves as a testament to the power of sports and music in sparking important societal dialogues and driving change. It’s a reminder that every voice matters and that unity and understanding are achievable goals in our diverse society.

Kelce and Swift first sparked romance speculation in September 2023, five months after news broke of her and Alwyn’s breakup.

In the last month, the loved-up couple has packed on PDA in the Bahamas and at Coachella.

With Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” album coming out Friday, however, fans have been revisiting her and Alwyn’s six-year romance.

Many think that Tuesday’s Spotify pop-up at The Grove in Los Angeles featured Easter eggs about the breakup, including lyrics about “statues crumbl[ing] if they’re made to wait.”

Social media users speculated that those words — in combination with a statue of Diana of Ephesus, whose original statue crumbled after “neglect” — are related to Alwyn, 33, not proposing to Swift.

Additionally, the album’s fifth track, “So Long, London,” is believed to reference her time in her ex’s England country home coming to an end.

Despite Patrick Mahomes, the standout quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, saying that his “dad bod” is “great” for his NFL performance, check out these other overweight quarterbacks who are demonstrating that extra “padding” is actually a benefit

Patrick Mahomes has made headlines after defending his ‘dad bod,’ with critics arguing the professional athlete wasn’t as physically fit as he has been in previous years.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback hit back at criticism, saying he has a ‘great body’ for a quarterback due to the amount of hits taken during games.

In February, a locker room photo of the three-time Super Bowl champion while he was celebrating the team’s AFC championship win over Baltimore went viral.

Earlier this week, Patrick admitted in a cover story for the 2024 TIME100 Most Influential People list: ‘I definitely have the dad bod a little bit.’

‘I’ll also say I have a great body for a quarterback,’ the 28-year-old athlete, who shares two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren with wife Brittany Mahomes, pointed out.

Patrick showed off his self-proclaimed ‘dad bod’ again in March, while vacationing at a Los Cabos resort, wearing a straw hat and a blue bathing suit.

The viral moment sparked a debate about dad bods and the health of athletes, with Patrick not the first elite athlete in the NFL to be accused of having a dad bod.

His teammate, tight end Travis Kelce was pictured in the Bahamas with girlfriend Taylor Swift a few weeks after winning the Super Bowl, with many quick to point out the lack of muscle definition.

It goes without saying that Patrick’s dad bod hasn’t stopped him from leading the Chiefs to six consecutive AFC Championship Game appearances and four Super Bowl appearances, since becoming the team’s starting quarterback in 2018.

With quarterbacks usually on the receiving end of body-shaming over their ‘dad bod’ physique, FEMAIL takes a look at some of the famous dad bods in the NFL, and why sometimes more is well, more.

    Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills quarterback has been the subject of criticism over his diet throughout his career, with football fans taking to social media to share their opinions about the athlete’s physique.

The 27-year-old athlete, who is dating actress and singer Hailee Seinfeld, has been on the receiving end of some unkind comments about his off-season body when pictures of NFL player, sans six pack, made the rounds on social media.

‘Oh so this is the type of shape Josh Allen’s in… Hailee I’m still available, you know, just holla me,’ one user tweeted, alongside the snap of the couple in their swimwear.

Josh has openly chatted about his affinity for burgers in the past, and while some criticize, others see him as a source of inspiration.

‘Josh Allen might be the most athletic person ever with a dad bod,’ one user responded.

In a 2023 appearance on the Bussin with the Boys podcast, the Bills player declared his favorite burger was not a gourmet affair – but actually from McDonald’s.

The quarterback won two Burlsworth Trophies, the Heisman Trophy, three conference titles and had even had a rule change named after him, over the rules surrounding college football walk-on and their eligibility when they transfer colleges.

According to the Buccaneers website, Baker was named 2023’s Most Improved Player of the Year by the Pro Football Writers of America.

By the end of the 2023 season, Baker was the second player in Buccaneers history to throw for 4,000+ yards, 25-or-more touchdowns and 10-or-fewer interceptions in a single season, joining Tom Brady’s 2022 stats.
