Joy Behar has some bad blood with Travis Kelce. While chatting about the offensive tweets that have resurfaced from the Kansas City Chiefs player, The View co-host had a difficult time shaking it off.

In the social media posts that date back to 2010, Kelce makes “disparaging comments about women,” according to Whoopi Goldberg, who prompted her co-hosts to find her a “high school boy who hasn’t said something stupid about girls.”

While Goldberg brushed off the athlete’s posts, Behar — who is admittedly a fan of his new girlfriend, Taylor Swift — was quick to blast him for his misogynistic comments.

“Here’s one of his quotes: ‘Damn, the Clippers girls gotta be the girls that don’t make the Lakers team ’cause they was all ugly,’” Behar read, before adding, “He’s illiterate.”

She continued, “He’s obsessed with the girls. I’m looking. That was his thing. [He wrote], ‘Why can’t girls hide they back fat?,’ [and], ‘I feel like if you want to be a cheerleader, you have to pass a beauty test. There’s too many ugly cheerleaders out here.’”

When Goldberg asked her longtime friend why she cared so much about the tweets, Behar assured the audience that she was just looking out for Swift, who packed on the PDA with Kelce following her Eras Tour stop in Argentina over the weekend.

“I’m a Swiftie,” Behar declared. “I love her because she’s getting young people out to vote so I don’t want her to be stuck with this idiot.”

Unlike Behar, the rest of the panel was a tad more forgiving of Kelce. Alyssa Farah Griffin, who is the same age as the new lovebirds, pointed out that their generation was the first to grow up with social media.

“We documented everything,” she said. “You think of songs that you liked at the time and then you’re like, ‘Wait, this could be totally problematic. I didn’t even know what it meant at the time.’ You gotta give people a little grace and hope that the way he treats women now is reflective of how he is as an adult.”

Like Swift’s song of the same nature, Goldberg then concluded that people need to calm down.

“Young people do young people stuff,” she explained. “What you said 25 years ago, may not be the way that you feel this time. So everybody needs to lighten up and let these people do what they want to do.”

Argentina were forced to relocate for their home clash against Uruguay in World Cup qualifying after a string of Taylor Swift shows. 

Swift has performed three shows in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires over the last week – November 8, 11 and 12 – using River Plate’s Estadio Mas Monumental as her venue for each show.

The American superstar’s worldwide ‘Eras Tour’ is entering its final stages, with Argentina the first of three South American legs that will also take her to Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, both in Brazil.

However, although she finished her final show in Argentina some five days ago, the pitch had not recovered in time, and the world champions instead played at La Bombonera.

Unlike most nations, the Albiceleste don’t have their own home stadium as such, but more often than not use the 86,000-seat Estadio Mas Monumental for home clashes.

Despite the issues caused by Swift’s tour, though, the Argentine Football Federation (AFA) appear to have been planning for such a situation, having announced the game’s change of venue in late October.

It was nothing new for the hosts, who have played at La Bombonera before, and although they had not left Estadio Mas Monumental for their qualifying campaign before, took on Curacao in friendly at the Estadio Madre de Cuidades in the country’s north earlier this year.

But perhaps not even in their wildest dreams did Argentina expect that a change of scene could result in Lionel Scaloni’s side losing their unbeaten record in CONMEBOL qualifying for the World Cup.

It ended 2-0 to Uruguay – rather than a 2-2 draw that perhaps would have rubbed some ironic salt into the wound for Argentina – after goals from Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo and Liverpool frontman Darwin Nunez.

In a fiercely-contested clash between rivals with seven cards dished out across the two sides.

Victory took the visitors up to second in the group ahead of Venezuela and Brazil, two points behind Argentina.

Next up for Scaloni’s side is a tussle with old rivals Brazil on the road, with the world champions looking to get back to winning ways to keep ahold of their No 1 spot ahead of match seven.

The football star and Taylor Swift’s main man has been praised for his sweet tweets about Chipotle and squirrels, but Internet sleuths soon uncovered his problematic old posts.

In the midst of the media’s never-ending play-by-play of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance, some Swifties have uncovered the NFL star’s old tweets—and they don’t like what they see.

Online sleuths dug up Kelce’s ableist, misogynistic, and fat-shaming posts from 2010 and 2011, apparently prompting the Kansas City Chiefs tight end—or someone in his camp—to embark on a deletion spree this week. The receipts, however, were documented on X (formerly known as Twitter) and gossip subreddit r/FauxMoi.

“As a man, You have something wrong with you if your going for girls that weigh more then you!!” Kelce, 34, wrote in one 13-year-old tweet.

Another reads: “haha when fat people fall, its like slow motion entertainment, cuz they never JUST fall, they always tumble n gradually hit the deck #comedy.”

Kelce is also catching heat for using a slur referring to a person with an intellectual disability. In a 2011 reply to one user, Kelce posted, “they slow as hell cuz there parents have been talkin to them like they were re**rded since they were babies.”

“I feel like if u wanna be a cheerleader you have to pass a beauty test…. there’s too many ugly cheerleaders out here smh,” he also wrote that year.

Kelce sounded off on “ugly” women on several occasions.

“damn the clippers girls gotta be the shitty girls that dont make the lakers girls team, cuz they all was ugly,” he tweeted in 2010, following up a month later with, “i gotta get outta here, its too weak!!! im getting attacked by ugly girls.”

Gaylors, a Swiftie subset who believe the songstress is secretly queer, and Kaylors, those who theorize she was romantically involved with former bestie Karlie Kloss, have been particularly vocal about Kelce’s problematic takes.

One X user shared, “I LOVE THIS GAME,” on Tuesday night while quoting a choice Kelce tweet musing: “hahaha why cant girls hide they backfat? that shits nasty!!!”

“3 cheers for toxic masculinity,” another posted with a face-vomiting emoji.

“Travis kelce is being defended a little too much considering some of his old tweets are ableist send tweet,” a third observer wrote.

“@taylorswift13 this your man?” another user tweeted while quoting his “#comedy” post.

The Daily Beast left messages for Kelce’s rep.

Meanwhile, other Swift stans are taking a shine to Kelce’s aged posts, including one from 2011 where he misspelled the word squirrel.

“I just gave a squirle a peice of bread and it straight smashed all of it!!!! I had no idea they ate bread like that!! Haha #crazy,” Kelce wrote.

This newly viral tweet and others rife with misspellings seem to be capturing more headlines than his ancient 𝓈ℯ𝓍ist drivel. Others were quick to defend—or brush off—Kelce’s unseemly dispatches.

“yall can repost and look at travis’ old tweets all you want.. but that doesn’t make it his truth now,” one Kelce defender fumed on X. “Do some research on travis kelce 10 years ago to now. If we’re gonna bring up his old tweets let’s celebrate the fucking character development this man has had.”

“Boy howdy, I am shocked that a 20-21 year-old athlete from Ohio wasn’t the most enlightened young man online in 2010,” a Redditor quipped.

“I don’t think any of us were enlightened online in 2010,” someone replied. “It was a wild time.”

“Speak for yourself. In 2010 I certainly wasn’t using slurs about disabled people,” another user chimed in.

These aren’t the only Kelce comments to resurface as his relationship with the 33-year-old “Shake It Off” hitmaker continues to blossom.

In a 2016 appearance on Bravo host Andy Cohen’s talk show, Kelce commented on his dating “dealbreakers,” including his thoughts on seeing a woman who “doesn’t like to give oral 𝓈ℯ𝓍.” He replied, “Sounds like a dealbreaker to me.” As Page Six reported, he also signaled it was a problem if someone didn’t sleep with him by the third date.

On his podcast with his brother in February, Kelce made jokes about starting a family of his own, saying he needed to “find a breeder.”

“I gotta start breeding. I’ve gotta start breeding, to all the breeders out there,” Kelce said, to which his mother Donna replied, “Wait until you find the right person. Find the right person.”

“I’m gonna find a breeder,” Kelce continued, “and I’m gonna get kids so that mom can love me again.”

Those statements continue to foment pushback.

“Everyone loving Travis Kelce right now, but are we forgetting that he called woman breeders and when he said a dealbreaker for him was a woman not sleeping with him after the third date…?” one X user posted this week.

Some critics compared Kelce to Swift’s British actor ex.

“Forever grateful that Joe Alwyn kept to himself and is private,” they said. “It’s what makes Travis Kelce’s statements from earlier this year about ‘finding a breeder’ cringe.

“You are free to say what you want but are not free from the consequences of doing so. Women are not objects.”

Cardi B and Offset have fans questioning their relationship status after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram.

“You know when you just out grow [sic] relationships,” Cardi, 31, wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, December 4, seemingly hinting at discord in her and Offset’s marriage. “I’m tired of protecting peoples [sic] feelings … I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!”

 

Offset, also 31, shared a cryptic post of his own on Monday. In a since-deleted Instagram Story upload, the rapper reposted a clip of Al Pacino from the 1983 film Scarface. “Hey, f–k you man! Who put this thing together? Me, that’s who,” Pacino’s Tony Montana says in the video. “Who do I trust? Me.” Us Weekly has reached out to Cardi and Offset’s reps for comment.

The pair’s posts came one day after Cardi walked the runway in a blue faux fur coat and diamond necklace at the Balenciaga fall 2024 show in Los Angeles. “Yesterday was a dream! I had too much fun storming your runway!” she captioned pics of her ensemble via Instagram. “Thank you to @Balenciaga @Demnagram @johanfleury and the entire team, you all are always so amazing to work with! Thank you to my team @kollincarter_ @tokyostylez @erikalapearl @juanmarioortiz. DARE TO BE DIFFERENT 🖤💙❤️.”

Cardi and Offset have been through plenty of ups and downs since tying the knot in 2017. In December 2018, Cardi announced that the duo had called it quits after one year of marriage following speculation that Offset was unfaithful. Videos appearing to show the former Migos member in bed with other women had surfaced online earlier that year.

“And it’s nobody fault. I guess we grew out of love but we are not together anymore,” Cardi said in an Instagram video at the time. “I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.” (The couple share daughter Kulture, 5, and son Wave, 2. Though the two later reconciled, they hit another rough patch in September 2020 when Cardi filed for divorce. “Offset and Cardi both continue to put Kulture first through this troubling time,” a source close to the duo told Us at the time. Cardi dismissed the filing one month later.

Earlier this year, Cardi called out her husband after he claimed she had cheated on him with another man. “First of all, let me say. You can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of. Sing it with me, y’all!” she said via X (formerly Twitter) on June 26. “And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey!”

She went on to claim that Offset was “spiraling and thinking s–t,” adding, “Come on, now. I’m Cardi B. I think sometimes motherf–kers forget I’m Cardi B. If I was giving this p–ssy to anybody, it would be out. I’m not just anybody.”

Offset, for his part, later admitted to making the false cheating allegations while he was “really lit” on tequila. “She got a crazy mouth, but I love my wife at the end of the day,” he said during a July 31 appearance on the “Way Up With Angela Yee” podcast.

The pair were all smiles two months later on the red carpet at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in September. Weeks later, Offset opened up about how he saved his marriage after the cheating scandal. “First off, by, like, respecting her position, right? We’re both public figures, we’re both in the eyes of the people,” he shared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in October.

“[I told myself to] stop being selfish,” he continued. “You’re married to this woman, be dedicated to this woman. And also, just like being more communicative about s–t.”

By now yoυ shoυld all know that Kelce and Swift are involved and he recently jetted off to Bυenos Aires to sυpport her “Eras Toυr” stop there.

Jason Kelce noted that his brother has said he wants to keep his private life private and Travis Kelce agreed, bυt noted that his Argentina trip was pretty pυblic.

The singer set the internet on fire by changing the words to her song “Karмa” to “Karмa is the gυy on the Chiefs, coмing straight hoмe to мe” instead of the original line in which she sings, “Karмa is the gυy on the screen, coмing straight hoмe to мe.”

The crowd went wild and Swift’s dad, Scott Swift, atteмpted to give a visibly giddy Kelce a high five.

Bυt the tight end fυмbled it, soмething his brother Jason was happy to point oυt dυring the podcast.

“Yoυ were so shocked yoυ left Scott hanging,” Jason Kelce said. “Scott’s over here looking for a high-five.”

“Mr. Swift, I apologize big gυy,” Travis Kelce said. “Aw мan, I мissed that. I never мiss a high-five, too. Big high-five gυy!”

He said “he had a little bit of a clυe” aboυt the word change “bυt definitely when I heard it coмe oυt of her мoυth, still shocked мe.”

“I was like oh shhh…she really jυst said that?” Kelce мυsed.

He revealed that he had мet Mr. Swift at dinner the night before, which is also when he convinced the singer’s father, a noted Philadelphia Eagles fan, to wear a Chiefs lanyard to the show.

Travis Kelce also talked aboυt Taylor Swift’s disappointмent at having to postpone one of her Argentina shows becaυse of weather.

“She kind of prides herself on perforмing throυgh like weather or rain and things like that, bυt when it’s υnsafe to her and her crew and everybody in the stadiυм, yoυ got to do what yoυ got to do,” he said, reiterating that it was postponed not canceled as per Swift.

Cardi B is ready to begin the new year as an independent woman.

“I’ve been single for a minute now,” the rapper, 31, said in an Instagram Live on Sunday, December 10. She broke the news the same day her husband, Offset, denied rumors that he cheated on her with rapper Chrisean Rock.

During her Live, Cardi noted that she took the recent infidelity allegations against Offset as a “sign” to share her single status with fans. “The last time I got on Live … I kind of wanted to tell you guys, but I didn’t know how to tell you. So, I was like, ‘I changed my mind,’” she shared. “But it has been like this for a minute now, and I just took it as a sign.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story is nothing short of “special.”

After spending lots of time with the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end during her recent break from the stage, Swift, 33, has resumed her Eras Tour — and sparks are still flying between the new couple.

“Taylor was excited to kick off her international tour. She’s had a great break,” a source tells PEOPLE.

The insider says that during her break, the 1989 songstress “loved catching up with girlfriends” and “had fun spending time with Travis.“

“He is a gentleman,” the source says of the NFL star. “He is very focused on his career. He has a great relationship with his family. He has an amazing energy and approach to life.”

“It all feels very special,” the insider adds.

Swift and Kelce, who flew in to support the musician on the South American leg of her hit tour this weekend, delighted fans with a romantic moment together after the “Cruel Summer” singer’s Saturday concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

During the show, Swift made a cheeky lyric change to her hit song “Karma” in a not-so-subtle nod to her athlete beau and, naturally, concertgoers caught his reaction on video.

In fan-captured footage from the concert, the NFL star watched the singer perform the hit Midnights track while standing in the VIP tent with her dad, Scott Kingsley Swift.

After exiting the stage, Swift ran backstage into Kelce’s arms and gave him a big kiss, as seen in another video captured at the concert shows.

The very public display of affection came a day after the couple was spotted having dinner together in Buenos Aires.

The Kansas City Chiefs schedule looks unlikely to be much help for Travis Kelce after Taylor Swift reportedly decided she’ll spend Thanksgiving back in the United States

Travis Kelce has a potential problem after Taylor Swift decided she will be spending Thanksgiving back in the United States.

The pop megastar is currently back on the road as her “Eras Tour” goes international, beginning the latest leg in Buenos Aires last week. Her new boyfriend Kelce made the trip to South America on his bye week to watch her perform as the pair continue to go to extreme lengths to spend as much time together as possible.

The pair have reportedly been working hard to make the most of any opportunities to spend time together among their busy schedules. But it appears unlikely they’ll be able to make it work on Thanksgiving.

According to Page Six, Taylor has decided to spend the day with her family, heading back to America before she will then fly back to Brazil. As of yet, there’s no word on Kelce – and his NFL schedule poses an obvious problem if he does want to spend the day with Swift.

 

That’s because his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, are already facing a shortened turnaround between games due to the fact they’ll play on Monday Night Football a few days earlier. They take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday (November 20) with Thanksgiving on Thursday (November 23).

They’ll then play again on Sunday (November 26) in Las Vegas against the Raiders. Given they have one less day than usual to prepare for that game, it seems unlikely Kelce and Chiefs players will get a day off, even if it is Thanksgiving.

As a result, it will be difficult for him to find a way to spend the day with Swift, unless she makes arrangements to join him in Kansas City. His mom, Donna Kelce, recently told People: “I’m not quite sure what Travis’ plans are,” regarding the big day.

Some fans speculated Thanksgiving might be the perfect opportunity for Travis to meet Taylor’s family given she has met both Donna and his dad, Ed Kelce, on multiple occasions, including at various Chiefs games.
