The Lakers, without LeBron, struggled to keep up with the Warriors’ Steph Curry, falling with a final score of 128-110

The Lakers are led by Anthony Davis with 27 points and 15 rebounds, but the Warriors with Curry (32 points, 8 assists) and their superior long-range shooting cause them to lose 128-110, only their second defeat in the previous eight games.

Sometimes 3-point shooting ultimately determines the outcome of a game, particularly in the modern NBA.

That was evident in the Lakers’ 128-110 road defeat to the Golden State Warriors at Chase Centre on Thursday night.

Coach Darvin Ham remarked, “They put a lot of pressure on your defence because they’re moving it.” “How well they can shoot the ball.

With LeBron James out, Steph Curry and Warriors rout Lakers - Los Angeles Times

A few of our breakdowns occurred off the ball. They made some intensity moves, and this is a squad that always demands your best. I was just struck by their enthusiasm.

The Lakers (30-27) outperformed the Warriors (28-26) in many areas, matching or even outperforming them in some. This was despite playing without LeBron James.

They took advantage of Golden State’s errors with greater opportunism, as evidenced by their 16 points off the Warriors’ nine turnovers as opposed to the Warriors’ 9 points off the Lakers’ 11 giveaways.

The Lakers and Warriors both had comparable field goal percentages—the former shooting 43 for 88 (48.9%) and the latter 50 for 107 (46.7%). In the paint, both sides scored fifty-eight points.

However, the Warriors’ edge came from their position behind the arc.

Steph Curry, the Go-Go Warriors look inspired after the All-Star break

The hosts, led by Steph Curry (32 points, 6 3-pointers, 8 assists), made 16 of their 41 3-point attempts (39%) to the Lakers’ 10 of 35 (28.6%) performance.

Curry had a few flop shots, according to Ham. “We slept off during the transition period of the slowly evolving pick-and-rolls. When he is off the ball and a pick-and-roll occurs, they pass it to Draymond Green or Kevin Looney, who are immediately pitching the ball to him, dishing off our defenders and getting some looks in the process.

He was gone from us a few times. We need to watch the footage again, but it seems like he was taking a great deal of different kinds of pictures today.

Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 27 points, 15 rebounds, and three blocked shots. Davis, though, was one of the Lakers who had trouble making shots; he went only 1 for 6 outside the paint.

The Lakers shot 14 for 50 (28%) from outside the paint as a team.

A staff member on the squad stated that Davis lost his voice and didn’t talk after the game. Ham noted that one factor that affected the game was Davis’ lack of voice.

“With that kind of firepower and that kind of snake head, in terms of Steph, you’re not going to win a game like this without everyone talking, being alert, prepared, doing our work early, and being in position early,” remarked Ham. There won’t be a predetermined strategy. There will be instances in which you play flawless defence and they still manage to score.

There are moments when you must exert more effort, yell, and interact with your teammates.

“The fact that he had some vocal difficulties tonight undoubtedly affected the game. I’m proud of him. He nevertheless showed up and performed as well as he could have given the situation. It’s not only him. Everyone needs to communicate and support one another.

While Austin Reaves finished with 16 points and four assists, D’Angelo Russell finished with 18 points (6-for-15 shooting), nine assists, five rebounds, and two steals. James was benched once more in favour of Taurean Prince, who scored 12 points. Rui Hachimura was restricted to eight points in 32 minutes, despite recording a career-high 36 points in the last game before the All-Star break (which was also played without James).

Due to the treatment he had for left ankle peroneal tendinopathy during the All-Star break, James missed his second straight regular-season game and his third in the previous eight.

James will “in all likelihood” be available for Friday’s game at Crypto.com Arena against the San Antonio Spurs, according to Ham’s postgame remarks.

For the majority of the first half, the Lakers maintained their lead over the Warriors, 51-50 entering the last few minutes of the second quarter.

However, Curry spearheaded a 15-3 run to end the second quarter and give the Warriors a 67-56 advantage at the half.

In the third, the Warriors carried over their advantage.

“Tried to pre-meditate what they were going to do and started getting lost a little bit in their actions, and that really opened up their slips and stuff in the second half,” according to Prince. “We will have a better chance of winning the game if we continue to be strong in many of those areas.”

With 5:52 remaining in the game with the Lakers down 113-96, Coach Darvin Ham decided to bench his starting lineup for their home game against the Spurs on Friday. The Lakers were playing the first night of a back-to-back set.

For the Warriors, Andrew Wiggins scored twenty points, while Jonathan Kuminga chipped in with twelve.

Rookie big man Coming off the bench, Trayce Jackson-Davis finished with 17 points and 5 rebounds.

JAY-Z regrets not resolving his rap feud with the Prodigy: ‘I have the utmost respect for the Prodigy’

Reflecting on his storied career, JAY-Z recently opened up about a lingering regret: his unresolved rap feud with the late Prodigy of Mobb Deep.

In a candid moment, the hip-hop mogul expressed remorse over the prolonged tension between the two iconic artists, acknowledging that it was a missed opportunity for reconciliation.

Despite the fierce lyrical exchanges that once defined their relationship, JAY-Z emphasized his deep respect for Prodigy’s talent and contribution to the rap game. He spoke of Prodigy not only as a formidable adversary but also as a fellow artist whom he admired.

The regret over not finding closure on their differences underscores JAY-Z’s growth and maturity as an individual and an artist. As he continues to evolve in both his personal and professional life, he recognizes the importance of resolving conflicts and fostering positive relationships within the hip-hop community.

While time may have passed, JAY-Z’s words serve as a poignant reminder of the power of forgiveness and the enduring legacy of those who have left an indelible mark on the world of music.

The Lakers won by a score of 123-118, and LeBron James had 30 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and one steal

The line of reporters documenting Victor Wembanyama’s every move leading up to the game was proof certain that there would be interesting moments.

Ultimately, the Lakers intimidated their way to a 123-118 victory over Wembanyama and the young Spurs, showcasing their indisputable talent advantage.Lakers star LeBron James battles San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama for a rebound.

But there was more to the game on Friday. It was the final opportunity to iron out some bugs before the calendar moves into one of the most crucial parts of the season thus far. It was more than just a West Coast introduction to a guy the Lakers will probably battle for the next ten or more years.May be an image of 5 people, people playing basketball, basketball jersey and textThe Lakers play seven of their next nine games against teams with superior records, starting on Sunday at Phoenix. This is the reason head coach Darvin Ham waited to speak about Wembanyama until after the victory to express his anger with his squad.

“You want your team to look within all the time, try to make plays, and make the other team uncomfortable,” Ham stated. You shouldn’t put yourself in awkward situations by failing to rush back in transition or by letting teams grab two or three offensive rebounds. Lakers vs. Spurs Final Score: LeBron James returns, leads way to win - Silver Screen and RollOr, you know, fouling because we don’t finish our work in time and aren’t in position. and finally turning around and losing faith in the execution.

We need to make the simple, easy play, maintain spacing, sprint hard when we get the ball in transition, and make sure we get hits on screens to gain an advantage.”That was the test on Friday; they performed well enough to defeat the Spurs. Then it gets even harder.

With LeBron James back in play, the offence kept getting better. He and Anthony Davis led an unbeaten starting five that also included Rui Hachimura, Austin Reaves, D’Angelo Russell, and others to their sixth consecutive victory. LeBron scores 30 points, Davis handles Wembanyama's 5x5 effort in Lakers' 123-118 win over Spurs | AP News James, who finished with 30 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds, remarked, “I felt pretty good.” To be honest, I was more taken aback by how well my wind was working. Ankle, however, fared well. performed merely mediocrely. I was excited to go play and support my team’s victory.

That was the most crucial thing.

After missing the Lakers’ previous two games to obtain therapy for his ailing left ankle, James was able to push Spurs defenders around the court and quickly establish an offensive rhythm. Against Wembanyama, one of the rare players who has an equal impact on the game as he does, Davis finished with 28 points and 13 rebounds.

Russell finished with six assists and 22 points. Reaves contributed 10 points and nine assists, while Hachimura finished with 17 points and seven rebounds.

Not only did Wembanyama score 27 points and grab 10 rebounds, but he also made five steals, blocked five shots, and dishevelled eight assists. In NBA history, it was the 22nd “5 by 5” game, meaning a player had at least five in five different categories.

He is only the second player to accomplish it against the Lakers and is the youngest to do so at the age of 20. (Vlade Divac is the only Laker to have accomplished this; but, there are few recordings until the late 1970s.)

Reaves laughed and remarked, “He’s 7-foot-12.” He added that he had given up keeping track of how many of his shots Wembanyama had stopped.

James stated, “He doesn’t have a ceiling.”

The health of James and the Lakers squad will undoubtedly determine if they can play to their potential.

He would only remark that he hoped the therapy would provide relief and enable him to close out the season as strongly as possible, without providing any further information on the procedures he underwent for his ankle.

James clarified, “It wasn’t something we just came up with out of the blue.” Knowing the schedule, we had already timed this months prior. Thus, we’re just trying to figure out how to make the most of the days that we have available in that brief window of time between last Tuesday and today’s game. It proved to be advantageous.

  • The reason why LeBron James pursued football in high school has been revealed

The reason why LeBron James pursued football in high school has been revealed

If LeBron James had chosen to play football in addition to basketball, he might have been one of the best multisport athletes in American history. According to Brian Windhorst, James committed to football for a very intriguing reason when he first started playing the game in his sophomore year.

Do you know why he was a football player? due to Aaliyah. After his second year, he had planned to retire from performing, but then his favourite singer, Aaliyah, passed away in a plane accident. He made the decision to stop living in fear. After Aaliyah passed away, he left the sidelines. He missed the first game of the year, the start of his junior year, and the second game without practice or training camp. He had 11 touchdowns, 1200 yards of running, and 12 games played. He was among the best wide receivers in the program’s history.

People are inspired by music to take actions they never would have imagined possible. Because playing football involves more physical danger than basketball, it demands more dedication than basketball. Given his success, basketball was the perfect sport for James, but it’s always intriguing to speculate as to how well he may have performed in the NFL.

James might have been a dual-sport athlete in the same vein as Deion Sanders, who participated in both MLB and the NFL.

LeBron James forbade his kids from playing football.

Windhorst saying James was scared of playing football until his sophomore year does make sense, given the strong stance he took regarding his sons playing football. In 2014, James declared unequivocally that he would not allow his kids to participate in the sport because of the physical risks involved.

“In my house, only basketball, baseball and soccer are permitted. Until they grasp how physically hard and intense the game is, we don’t want them to play in our home.

James did add a temporary deadline to those first remarks, but Bronny and Bryce James have demonstrated how publicly they conduct their school life. If either one dabbled in playing football, it’d be one of the biggest stories in sports. Thankfully, they’re committed to basketball and could follow LeBron’s footsteps into the league in the next few seasons.

Football or basketball was forced to be chosen by Allen Iverson.

The only other premier multi-sport athlete in the last three decades was Allen Iverson, who was an officially ranked football recruit during his high school years. However, his mother intervened and made him pick basketball over football, even though Iverson didn’t even like the sport

“I thought basketball was soft, and I hated it.” I played football my entire life. One day, my mom said, ‘You’re going to basketball practice’. I was like, ‘Playing basketball is soft.’ I thank my mom. If she didn’t tell me I was going to basketball practice that day, I would have never played.”

Iverson was a highly-touted quarterback prospect. He was ranked ahead of Peyton Manning in the high school class of 1995. We haven’t seen a dual-sport athlete like him in a generation, as Iverson was winning the Associated Press High School Player of the Year award in both football and basketball while also winning the Division 5 AAA Virginia state championship in both sports.

LeBron is pushing for 3 YEAR/9 FIGURE deal with the Lakers that’s worth EVEN MORE than his current contract! 💰

LeBron James may secure a multi-year, nine-figure contract extension with the Lakers, aiming to continue his career until the age of 42 in a potential $180 million deal.

Windhorst stated, “I don’t think this is LeBron’s last stand, I don’t think this is the Lakers’ last stand,” on First Take. LeBron James: Lakers Attacking Paint & Getting To Free Throw Line Is 'What We Do'.LeBron James và LA Lakers than phiền về trọng tài sau màn ngược dòng hụt trước Phoenix Suns“First off, I believe LeBron is hoping to secure a multi-year, nine-figure contract with the Lakers during the offseason. That will surpass the current contract he is on in size.

“Now, whether or not he’s able to finish that deal, whether or not the Lakers want to give him a three-year contract and pay him $60 million when he’s 42 years old, that’s a different discussion.”

James signed a two-year, $99 million contract extension with the Lakers in August 2022, and he is currently in the first year of that deal.

Looking ahead, he holds a player option for the 2024-25 season. Windhorst anticipates that LeBron will opt out of this option, paving the way for a new three-year extension with the Lakers, carrying the possibility of a $180 million payout.

  • HEARTWARMING MAN: King LeBron James spent his entire youth doing charity work

HEARTWARMING MAN: King LeBron James spent his entire youth doing charity work

Lebron James is not just an NBA superstar but also a charitable alumnus. The NBA player makes a major contribution to his hometown of Akron, Ohio, where he was born. James has had remarkable success in sponsorship deals in addition to basketball. Never forgetting his modest beginnings, he is constantly giving and ready to help those in need and causes he believes in.

LeBron James will never forget where he's from

Lebron was born on December 30, 1984, in Akron, Ohio, to his mother Gloria, who was just sixteen years old. Despite her youth and her multiple employment, she reared him efficiently. When Lebron was nine years old, Gloria forced him to move live with Frank Waller and his family for stability’s sake. Lebron’s passion in basketball was ignited by Waller, the local junior basketball coach.

Lebron showed remarkable skill as a basketball player. At St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, where he was an outstanding athlete, he went by the nickname “King James.” He was heralded as the next NBA superstar by the league and the press. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected Lebron with the first overall pick in the draft, and they acquired him quickly. He was the team’s 2004 Rookie of the Year and helped them make it to the first round of the 2007 playoffs. When LeBron James became a free agency, the main question was if he would stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In 2010, ESPN used an hour-long broadcast called “The Decision” to promote Lebron’s predicament. LeBron James and the University of Akron partner to give Akron youth full scholarships - The Philadelphia Sunday SunLebron decided to give the money from the special to charity even though he didn’t want to be in it. Lebron’s decision to sign with the Miami Heat disappointed Cleveland fans. Even though he was criticised for betraying his community, the special’s earnings were a significant compensation because it raised over $3 million for philanthropic causes and attracted 10 million people. Lebron gave most of the money to Boys and Girls Clubs around the country, donating the rest to other nonprofits that he felt were equally dedicated to helping kids.

Lebron had a successful career with the Miami Heat. In addition to helping the Heat win the NBA championship in 2012, he was named the league’s Most Valuable Player in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013. Lebron also won gold medals at the Olympics in 2008 and 2012. To the joy of Cleveland, Lebron made a triumphant comeback to the Cleveland Cavaliers, leading them to the 2016 NBA Championship.

Lebron has never let his fame get in the way of his life. He launched the Lebron James Family Foundation. The foundation raises money for charity and participates in fundraising events. ONEXONE, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, After-School All-Stars, the Children’s Defence Fund, and Gabriel’s Angle Foundation are a few of these organisations.

The top five organisations that Lebron James donates to are listed below.lebron james helping the community for Sale,Up To OFF 68%

    After-School Premier League

Lebron’s Foundation created the After-School All-Stars for the young people of Akron, his hometown. The Foundation has been raising money and giving to charities for a long time. “Wheels For Education” started out as a bicycle-a-thon to raise money for Akron kids to have somewhere to go after school and help with their education. It developed into a programme that offers various forms of support to Akron’s “at risk” students. The programme provides extracurricular activity involvement, academic help, and mentorship. Promoting student retention and graduation is the goal. In order to move on to the fourth grade, students must start meeting state standards in the third grade.

The mentoring programme discourages kids from dropping out of school before finishing their secondary education while also helping them with reading and arithmetic. Lebron’s Foundation has raised almost $40 million in total to support the programme. Recently, Lebon and the University of Akron have partnered to provide scholarships. While the programme is required for the kids, parents are urged to join as well. Lebron takes part in the programme actively. When he can’t be there, he uses social media to keep in touch virtually with the kids. The programme currently sponsors more than 800 students. The first graduation ceremony is scheduled for 2021. Each recipient of the scholarship receives $9,500 per year in college tuition reimbursement. Lebron wants to see Ohio as a whole included in the initiative.\
Lebron James just made a financial donation to the Muhammad Ali exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Two sections make up the museum’s “Muhammad Ali: A Force For Change” exhibit: one honours Ali’s remarkable boxing career, while the other looks at his contributions to social activism. Lebron contributed $2.5 million to the exhibition, matching the contributions made by Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan. According to LeBrom, Ali was a big inspiration to him growing up—both as an athlete and as a justice advocate. Lebron held the late boxing great Muhammad Ali in high regard because of his passion, goals, and moral principles both during and after the civil rights movement. Ali passed away in June 2016 due to Parkinson’s illness.

    American Boys and Girls Club

Lebron James has designated $2.5 million from the earnings of ESPN’s “The Decision” special to benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Lebron was quite involved with the team while he was in Miami. Apart from providing equal opportunity to every student, the club also provides extracurricular activities and mentorship. Lebron and his spouse designed and provided furniture for the Miami club in conjunction with Home Court Furniture. The children’s work area was renovated and the roof was replaced. Five hundred brand-new PCs were given to fifty-nine Boys and Girls Clubs around the country.

    Children’s Defence Fund

The Children’s Defence Fund was founded in 1973. Its goal is to protect children’s rights and guarantee that each child receives equitable treatment. The non-profit organisation receives significant financing from the Lebron James Foundation. Like After-School All-Stars, this programme helps low-income kids who are considered “at risk” and get in the way of their education.

    ONE-TO-ONE

In addition, ONEXONE is dedicated to helping young people. Their goal is to provide kids with water, food, health, education, and recreation, among other five basic needs. Like After-School All-Stars, the organisation uses contributed monies to help those in need, empowering kids by giving them a feeling of dignity and hope. The programme provides water, wholesome breakfasts, medical aid, extracurricular activities, and support for education to schools. Like most of his charitable activities, Lebron’s focus is on helping underprivileged kids. His Foundation makes a major donation to ONEXONE. Lebron James clearly never disregarded his humble background. Without the encouragement and support of mentors like his mother and the Waller family, Lebron might not have reached his current level of accomplishment. Lebron’s skill as a basketball player has inspired him to be kind and kind. He never let his conceit stand in the way of repaying the kids and people who had inspired him.

    The Promised School

James recently made news in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, by building a brand-new I Promise School for young people who are considered to be at-risk. James has shown that he values education highly, which is not surprising. This is the same person that started “Wheels for Education,” an organisation that gives low-income kids bicycles, school supplies, and computer access. He also supported the college education of a thousand kids.

“We want every child who passes through this institution to be motivated and to leave with something constructive to contribute to the world,” James said in a CNN interview with Don Lemon. “Children generally just want to know that someone cares about them.” Upon entering that door, I hope they will realise that someone is thinking of them.
