Jason Kelce Confirms he will be returning to Philadelphia Eagles and not Retiring “I had a lot on my mind, but now it’s made up..”

    Jason Kelce cool

A month ago, Jason Kelce’s retirement filled the front pages of sports newspapers. The fans and the media said goodbye to the iconic center of the Philadelphia Eagles and celebrated his 13-year career.

    Jason Kelce

Today, the player himself has questioned all that, hinting at his return next season.

The elder Kelce has been a stalwart of Philadelphia’s offensive line since joining the team in the sixth round of the 2011 draft. In that time, Jason has put together a career that will surely take him to the Hall of Fame as soon as he is eligible, earning the respect of friends and rivals along the way.

However, after a 13-year career, the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in this past Wild Card Round seemed to have been too much for the player. At the end of the game, the legendary center would have announced to his teammates that he was retiring, behind closed doors in the Raymond James Stadium locker room.

A few days later, Kelce himself denied rumors on the “New Heights” podcast that he co-hosts with his brother Travis, and today, he again cast doubt on all of his past claims, saying that he is still trying to make a decision.

Jason Kelce’s return to the gridiron
Speaking with Adam Lefkoe and Shaquille O’Neal on “The Big Podcast,”Kelce opened up about his possible retirement. “Still figuring it out. I think if I still want to play, I’m going to play. I think right now we’re not far enough away from the last game.”

He said that the last month has been very emotional after a long season and an end to the campaign that was not at all pleasant for him or his team. “So I’m just going to take some time, rest, recover, and then figure it out. I think I’ll have an answer in the next couple of weeks,” he clarified.

Almost since speculation about his future began, the Eagles lineman assured that his first statements were taken out of context. Therefore, he now warned that any decision he makes in this regard, he will announce it on his own terms.

What would Kelce’s future be if he retires?
Although there have been rumors that he has already been in talks with television networks such as ESPN and Fox to take a position as a sports analyst, in the conversation with Lefkoe and O’Neal, Kelce hinted that he is also considering a position as a coach.

Despite leading by as many 20, the Lakers had a poor second half and Jamal Murray made a buzzer-beater to win the game.

After the tough loss, All-Star forward Anthony Davis met with the media and shared an intriguing statement (h/t Spectrum SportsNet).

Davis: We have stretches where we don’t know what we’re doing on both ends of the floor. Those are the ones that cost us. We’ve got two days to get it right and come ready to win Game 3 Thursday.”

Davis finished the game with 32 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block while shooting 14/19 from the field and 0/1 from the three-point range in 39 minutes of playing time.

  • Breaking News: Kim Kardashian lost 100k followers on Instagram after Taylor Swift’s song Diss

Breaking News: Kim Kardashian lost 100k followers on Instagram after Taylor Swift’s song Diss

Kim Loses Followers as Swifties Attack

Kim Kardashian’s social media profile is taking a hit in the wake of Taylor Swift dropping a new diss track about the reality TV star.

    Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian

ICYMI … Taylor’s new song, “thanK you aIMee,” is a thinly veiled revenge anthem against Kim — hence the capitalized letters in the title. In the song, Taylor blasts a bully from her past … slamming the woman as a “bronze spray-tanned statue.”

And, only a few days after the track’s release, Kim’s lost more than 100,000 fans on social media … with countless Swifties spamming her Instagram and X pages with vitriol.

One fan wrote … “Finally someone stood up to Aimee.”

Comments by Swifties to Kim Kardashian

Another said Kim should’ve apologized back in 2016, after she tried to paint Taylor as a liar by releasing a private conversation between the singer and her ex-husband, Kanye West.

However, not everyone has viewed this new diss track as a negative … with several of Kim’s fans claiming this song has only further elevated the SKIMS mogul’s fame. Others have called on Kim’s momager Kris Jenner to cash in on the drama by responding to the diss track on the family’s Hulu show.

BTW, losing 100K on social is basically a blip on Kim’s radar — she does still have 363 million, just on Instagram.

Taylor has made it no secret she’s still upset with Kim all these years later — in her ‘TIME’ Person of the Year cover story, she called out Kim by name for trying to get her canceled.

She said … “You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar … That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before.”

Kim has ignored the drama for the most part … but this might be over the fact her daughter, North West, is a Taylor Swift fan — which TS references in ‘aIMee.’

There’s no forgiving and forgetting here.

  • Brother Jason is crowned the “𝑠e𝑥iest man on the planet” by Travis Kelce

Brother Jason is crowned the “𝑠e𝑥iest man on the planet” by Travis Kelce

In a viral clip full of sibling rivalry and humor, the Kelce brothers show off their witty banter on the golf course

ansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had nothing but high praise for his older brother, Jason Kelce, dubbing him the “𝑠e𝑥iest man on the planet.” This lighthearted moment emerged after a video surfaced showing Jason being playfully taunted by former Philadelphia Eagles teammate Beau Allen during a friendly round of golf.

The clip, capturing a candid slice of life on the fairways, featured Jason Kelce lining up a shot with Allen sparing no effort to distract him. Allen’s teasing spanned a range of topics, poking fun at Jason’s life and career, but the retired Eagles center handled the jabs with his characteristic good humor, a skill honed through years of dealing with media scrutiny and public opinion.

The friendly banter reached its peak when Allen questioned Jason on how he handles trash-talk, to which Jason quipped“I didn’t think it was going to happen, but now I am.” Allen couldn’t resist comparing the two brothers, suggesting he preferred Travis for his athletic prowess and celebrity status. Jason’s witty comeback, “At least I’m better looking,” eventually led to Travis’ affectionate declaration on Instagram, celebrating his brother’s charm.

Brotherhood in the Limelight: Kelce brothers keeps going on and off the field

The Kelce brothers have been riding a wave of popularity, further amplified by their showdown in the last Super Bowl and Travis’s high-profile relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift. Their antics, including dance-offs showcased during their podcast “New Heights,” have endeared them even more to fans.

The video, released by “Green Light with Chris Long,” concluded with Jason humorously slicing his approach shot to the green, but it was the brotherly love and banter that stole the show, proving that even amidst competition, family ties hold strong.

Jealousy is the tribute that mediocrity pays to genius: Woman who went to school with Taylor Swift claims her fellow students ‘hate her’

A woman who said she went to the same high school as Taylor Swift before she became a superstar has claimed that a lot of the singer’s fellow students ‘hated’ her because they were ‘jealous’ when she started to achieve her music success.

Jessica McLane, now 30, said that she attended Hendersonville High School in Nashville, Tennessee, with Taylor, now 32, for less than a year in 2006 – when she was a freshman and when the popstar was a junior.

Taylor, who grew up Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, moved to Tennessee when she was 14 so she could pursue a career in country music, and she was a student at Hendersonville High School for two-and-a-half years – before she ultimately left to become homeschooled after her career took off.

Now, Jessica has dished on what the Grammy-Award-winning artist was really like before she found fame, claiming that while she herself hardly talked to Taylor, other students told her that she was ‘b***hy’

‘I went to the same high school as Taylor Swift, we grew up in the same town,’ she said in a viral TikTok video recently, which has been viewed more than 6.4 million times.

‘When she first started becoming super successful, most people hated her. Keep in mind, these are her peers, this isn’t, like, just random people on the internet.

‘There were not a lot of people in high school who had nice things to say about her … There were general rumors about her being b***hy. [People would say], “She said this, she said that, she was mean.”‘

Taylor famously caught the attention of music mogul Scott Borchetta at an industry showcase at Nashville’s Bluebird Café in 2005, and he went on to sign her to Big Machine Records and ultimately helped her launch her massive career.

She released her debut album, called Taylor Swift, in October 2006, and it quickly skyrocketed her into the spotlight, peaking at number five on the US Billboard 200 and staying on the chart for more than 150 weeks.

But as her career took off, Jessica said her ‘jealous’ classmates started to spread vicious rumors that Taylor’s family had ‘bought her fame’ and had bribed Scott with money to get him to sign her to his label.

And Jessica believes that the musician only asked her former classmates to attend the event to show them how far she had come.

‘As we all know, 2009 is the year that she killed the game. She invited us to the CMAs to say f**k you,’ Jessica theorized in her TikTok video. ‘And we deserved it. So to Taylor, touché, that was a good one.’

While some people accused Jessica of lying about her connection to the famous singer in the comment section, she fired back by sharing a glimpse at her yearbook, which featured a photo of Taylor.

‘She randomly showed up in eighth grade and my girlfriend at the time went up and introduced herself and we all became friends,’ he said.

When commenters pressed him and asked him to elaborate, the TikToker said he wanted to respect her privacy so he wasn’t comfortable sharing too much information.

‘These memories and stories are personal things,’ he explained.

However, he did recall one time when he and the singer spent ‘hours’ learning the lyrics to the song Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind.

‘Back then, we couldn’t just type in Semi-Charmed Life lyrics [on Google], we had to learn them ourselves.

‘If you know that song, you know it’s really fast and it’s a lot of words and [the lead singer] slurs his words a lot.

‘So we just sat there with a notebook for two or three hours, deliberating over each word and arguing over what he was saying. That was pretty funny.’

How football writers made peace with covering Travis Kelce’s love life

Pete Sweeney had a rule. In his job as editor in chief of Arrowhead Pride, a website dedicated to all things Kansas City Chiefs, Sweeney made it a policy to “not really talk about the family members and personal lives of the players.” That is, he adds, “unless we’re forced to.”

Less than a month into this past regular season, with the media frenzy surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce already reaching fever pitch, Sweeney knew it was “one of those situations where we were forced to.

” The realization came in late September, when the Chiefs were preparing to host the Chicago Bears.

A few days before kickoff, Sweeney’s colleague published a short article about the budding romance on Arrowhead Pride, part of SB Nation’s network of team-focused sites.

On the morning of game day, amid breathless speculation online that Swift would be in attendance, traffic for the article surged thanks to an algorithmic blessing from Google.

“At that stage,” Sweeney says, “I realized we had to at least cover this to a certain point.”

Travis Kelce Reveals the Most Famous Person in His Phone … Besides Taylor Swift, Of Course

Millions of Taylor Swift fans and the entirety of Chiefs Kingdom pretty much know exactly who the most famous person in Travis Kelce‘s contact list is. Even so, the tight end laughed off a question about the biggest celebrity in his phone and revealed which person — besides his superstar girlfriend — fits the bill.

In a video posted to the Kansas City Chiefs’ TikTok on Monday (Jan. 8), Kelce and a few of his teammates were asked to name the numbers of the most A-list stars they have saved on their phones. “You guys know the easy answer,” the Ohio native responded, heavily alluding to Swift.

Kelce went on to reveal that, second to the “Anti-Hero” singer, the biggest star in his contacts is “JT, Justin Timberlake.”

But in regards to whether the *NSYNC boy bander would pick up the phone if Kelce were to call right that second, the football star said, “Not a chance.” “I appreciate you, Justin,” added the New Heights podcast host. “But he’s a busy man.”

As famous as Timberlake is, it’s hard to compare with Swift’s current celebrity status, which, if anything, has only been elevated since she started dating Kelce. The pair struck up a romance over the summer, and the 12-time Grammy winner addressed their relationship for the first time in her December TIME Person of the Year cover story.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said in the interview. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Kelce and the Chiefs are fresh off a very close victory (13-12) against the Los Angeles Chargers following Sunday’s (Jan. 7) game. That night, Swift attended the Golden Globes alongside her good friend Keleigh Sperry.
