Offset got into a scuffle with a clubgoer over the weekend after engaging in a money-throwing war at an NYC strip club.

The Migos rapper went viral after videos circulated online showing him tossing money into the air at Starlets strip club in New York on Saturday night (April 20).

 

After appearing to argue with someone in the crowd, Offset begins to walk off stage before turning around suddenly and leaping into the audience. He engages in a brief scuffle with partygoers, but security hauls him away before the situation escalates further.

While the events leading up to the skirmish are unclear, the DJ can be heard on the speakers telling guests to leave the building. “You aint gotta throw the money in his face. Chill! Relax, relax!” the DJ orders.

Even though LeBron James is moving from Cleveland to Los Angeles, he has continued to support his hometown of Akron, Ohio. This Thursday, the basketball star and the Akron school board opened the I Promise School, a facility for at-risk children who are having difficulties both at home and in the classroom.

 

One of its main projects? A bicycle and helmet will be given to each of the 240 pupils.

 

James has previously given bikes as gifts to young children before this scheme. Bicycles are now an essential part of the LeBron James Family Foundation’s outreach initiative. And a big part of it is because, growing up in Akron, riding a bicycle provided James with a means of escape.

 

“LeBron’s bike provided him with the necessary mobility to reach secure locations such as community centers and basketball courts after school,” e-mailed Michele Campbell, executive director of the LeBron James Family Foundation, to Bicycling. “Those two wheels opened doors for him and provided resources that he otherwise would not have had access to.”

 

James rode around the streets with children and families during a bike-a-thon in 2008, one of the foundation’s first events in Akron. For Campbell, though, it was a one-and-done deal.

 

She remarked, “LeBron knew he could do more.”

 

Thus, in 2011, James started a program called Wheels for Education, wherein a new bike and helmet were given to each incoming class of third graders. Since then, the initiative has changed to become the I Promise School.

 

LeBron feels that giving motorcycles to his students is vital since he understands how much he depended on one during his childhood. He had to bicycle if he wanted to go somewhere because his family didn’t own a car, Campbell said. It made it possible for him to remain secure and out of danger. LeBron wants his children to learn that from these bikes.

 

Not to mention that James encourages his children to be active and get outside by having access to bicycles.

 

Going forward, a Huffy bike and helmet will be given to each student enrolled in the I Promise School. Additionally, the program has a partnership with the Bike Kitchen and the Summit Cycling Center in downtown Akron, where students can bring their bikes for upkeep and repairs.

 

“Our goal is to ensure that all the students require is taken care of, allowing them to concentrate on obtaining their education,” stated Campbell.

 

The bikes are merely a component of the I Promise School program. The school will operate longer than a typical school year and concentrate on getting students who are behind in the curriculum up to speed. Classes began on Monday. According to SBNation, the school will also offer resources to families, such as assistance with job placement and an on-site food bank.

Andy Reid has laid any rumors of retirement to rest. The Kansas City Chiefs announced Reid has signed a multi-year contract extension to remain with the franchise, keeping Reid under contract until the 2029 season. The Chiefs also signed general manager Brett Veach and team president Mark Donovan to extensions.

CBS Sports NFL Insider Jonathan Jones confirmed the length of the deal, which would keep Reid, 66, under contract until he’s 72 years old. Reid will also be the highest-paid head coach in the NFL, as he’s coming off his second consecutive Super Bowl title with the Chiefs and third in five seasons.

“I’m incredibly grateful to Clark [Chiefs owner Clark Hunt] and the entire Hunt family for giving me the opportunity to lead this historic franchise,” Reid said, via a Chiefs press release. “Over the last 11 years, Tammy [wife Tammy Reid] and I have enjoyed calling Kansas City our home.

“The community has embraced us, we’ve watched our family grow, including having all 12 grandkids during our time here. On the field, there have been so many people that have contributed to our success and Super Bowls, and I’m grateful to the players, coaches and staff that have all invested their time into this process.

“Chiefs Kingdom is a special place and I’m blessed to have the opportunity to be here.”

Reid has entered the pantheon of the greatest head coaches in NFL history. He’s the fifth head coach with three-or-more Super Bowl titles, joining Bill Belichick (six), Chuck Noll (four), Joe Gibbs (three) and Bill Walsh (three). Reid also joins Belichick and Noll as the only head coaches to win three Super Bowls in a five-season span. His 26 playoff wins trail only Belichick (31) for the most in NFL history.

Reid joined Belichick as the only coaches with 200+ wins and three Super Bowl titles, showcasing the rare air he’s in amongst the greatest head coaches in NFL history. In 25 seasons as a head coach, Reid has won three Super Bowl titles, five conference championships and 14 division titles. He’s had 18 double-digit win seasons. Reid has also won a playoff game with four different quarterbacks (Donovan McNabb, Jeff Garcia, Alex Smith, and Mahomes).

Veach has played a huge role in the Chiefs dynasty since taking over the general manager role in 2017, starting with the trade up to get Patrick Mahomes at No. 10 overall. The Chiefs have won three Super Bowls and four conference championship games in Veach’s tenure, sporting an 85-30 record in his seven seasons (seven straight 10-win seasons).

Donovan became the Chiefs’ president in 2009, bringing Veach and Reid over to Kansas City in 2013 from Philadelphia — changing the culture of the Chiefs franchise.

In a clip posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), Swift and Kelce, both 34, held hands and chatted with each other as they made their way out of the stadium, following behind Patrick and wife Brittany Mahomes.

Swift, who wore an oversized red varsity jacket with a black top and jeans, smiled as she and Kelce leaned into each other while walking out together.

The biggest point of drama this offseason for the Kansas City Chiefs has been the Rashee Rice saga. The talented wide receiver is currently facing eight charges after he and another driver caused a massive car crash in Dallas, Texas last month. These charges include aggravated assault and collision involving serious bodily injury. He is also facing civil lawsuits related to the incident.

It is still early in the process and we don’t exactly know what the ramifications of this situation will be for both the 24-year-old and the Chiefs. However, the latest reporting suggests that Kansas City needs to have a backup plan in place.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Rice will likely be disciplined by the league, “resulting in at least a multi-game suspension”.

Now, it all but guarantees that Kansas City will draft a wide receiver in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Depending on the severity of the suspension, they will likely have to rely on their rookie receiver significantly from the get-go.
