The Easter Egg in Eras tour! The flags being used by Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour during Miss Americana ATHP resemble shells named Swift’s scallop, with a scientific name of Swiftopecten swifti. Its lifespan is 13 years too

During Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, one intriguing element that caught the attention of fans was the Easter Egg hidden within her performance. The flags prominently displayed during her performance of “Miss Americana The Heartbreak Prince” bore a striking resemblance to shells known as Swift’s scallop, scientifically named Swiftopecten swifti. These shells, with their distinctive markings and patterns, mirrored the aesthetic of Taylor Swift’s stage design, creating a seamless integration of natural beauty into her artistic expression.

What added an extra layer of fascination to this discovery was the synchronicity of the shell’s characteristics with Taylor Swift’s career timeline. Just like the Swiftopecten swifti, which has a lifespan of around 13 years, Taylor Swift has been in the spotlight for roughly the same duration. This parallel seemed almost too perfect to be coincidental, sparking discussions among fans about the intentional symbolism behind Swift’s choice of stage décor.

Whether deliberate or serendipitous, the incorporation of Swift’s scallop into the Eras Tour added depth and intrigue to Taylor Swift’s performance, captivating audiences and igniting their imaginations with the possibilities of hidden meanings within her artistry.

  • Why Swifties Are Convinced This Taylor Swift Lyric References a Viral Jason Kelce Moment

Why Swifties Are Convinced This Taylor Swift Lyric References a Viral Jason Kelce Moment

As soon as Swift dropped all 31 songs off of her surprise double album on Friday, April 19, Swifties immediately got to work rehashing every lyric and picking apart every line, desperate to uncover the secret messages on every tune.

It didn’t take long for fans to theorize that both “So High School” and “The Alchemy” are about Travis — but now, everyone is beginning to come to the realization that the latter track also contains a reference to Jason.

On first listen, it’s no surprise that fans zeroed in on “The Alchemy” being about Swift cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs tight end throughout the football season. But on second, third, and fourth listen, another thought crystallized in fans’ heads — one that specifically tied the “shirts off” lyric to Jason’s infamous shirtless moment during the Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game.

“Shirts off and your friends lift you up over their heads / Beer stickin’ to the floor, cheers chanted ’cause they said / There was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league,” Swift sings on the bridge. “Where’s the trophy? He just comes runnin’ over to me.”

“IS THE SHIRT OFF LINE IN ALCHEMY ABOUT JASON KELCE?!?!? #TSTTPD,” one fan tweeted.

Taylor Swift“‘shirts off and your friends lift you up over their heads’ JASON KELCE WELCOME TO THE TAYLOR SWIFT SONGWRITING UNIVERSE,” another wrote in all caps.

“The ‘Shirts off’ Line in The Alchemy is definitely about Jason Kelce and I love it #TSTTPD,” a third person penned.

“I want Jason Kelce to cover ‘The Alchemy,’” a fourth social media user commented.

The retired Philadelphia Eagles star recalled the viral moment — in which he cheered on the Chiefs while shirtless in the stands at the January game — telling his brother on their New Heights podcast that the shirtless partying was just how his “mind works after 40 Miller Lites.”

While Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, tried to encourage him not to do it — “she was already telling me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor” — he won Swift over with “the Jason Kelce charm.”

“Well, Tay said she absolutely loves you,” Travis told his older brother.

Rob McElhenney vows to prove NFL star Jason Kelce ‘incredibly wrong’ with trip to Wrexham after ‘posh’ comment about Welsh people

    WHAT HAPPENED?

When discussing Wales rugby player Louis Rees-Zammit’s move to the Kansas City Chiefs, NFL legend Kelce said when he thought of Welsh people, he thought “posh”. After being quickly told how wrong he was on social media, the 36-year-old admitted to his error, saying he was “incredibly happy” to be wrong. McElhenney then offered to show the former Philadelphia Eagles center around, indicating a Wrexham game could be on the cards.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Kelce is one of the most popular NFL stars today due to both his epic career and his podcast, ‘New Heights’, alongside younger brother Travis (of Taylor Swift fame). McElhenney, on the other hand, is now transitioning from media to sport, having bought Wrexham in 2021 with fellow actor Ryan Reynolds and since leading them to League One with back-to-back promotions.

    WHAT KELCE AND MCELHENNEY SAID

When told how misguided he was regarding Welsh people, Kelce wrote on X: “Yea, I’ve come to understand, I was very incorrect on this. Based on further assessment since these incorrect statements, not sure why I had these preconceptions in my mind, but I have found that the Welsh seem exactly like my kind of people. Happy to be incredibly wrong.”

McElhenney replied to him to say: “Yes, incredibly wrong. I should show you around someday. I might know a few people. See for yourself.”

WHAT NEXT FOR MCELHENNEY, WREXHAM AND KELCE?

McElhenney’s next few weeks are set to be spent basking in the joy of another promotion for his side and making early plans for the summer transfer window. Wrexham’s season ends with a home clash against Stockport County next weekend. As for Kelce, he is recently retired from the NFL, meaning he may have time to plan a trip to Wales and see how “posh” the people are for himself.

Jason Kelce Seemingly Confirms His Influence on Taylor Swift’s ‘Tortured Poets Department’ Fashion

Jason Kelce appears to have confirmed his influence on one of the ‘fits Taylor Swift has crafted for her new era, if only jokingly.

The recently retired center recently addressed a connection one Swiftie made on social media after the fan, named Haleigh, questioned, “oh no what did you do @JasonKelce?!” after some took note that the “Style”s songstress appeared to be wearing a pair of flip-flops in one of the new photos taken for The Tortured Poets Department.

Jason, of course, is infamous for his penchant for flip-flops—particularly when it’s far from flip-flop-weather—so it’s only natural that some would point to the touring artist’s NFL beau’s brother upon noticing her choice in footwear, and it turns out Jason is in on the joke, too, “liking” the post and acknowledging his new role as Swift’s style icon.

As many pointed out, they’re more likely to be designer t-strap sandals, but the vibes—and the point—remain.

Fans took the joke and ran with it, with one replying, “Taylor needs to bring stilettos for Taylor,” referencing the time Jason neglected to bring jeans to wear to his documentary premiere and blamed the fact that he was in a pair of athletic shorts on his wife, Kylie. “Don’t be surprised [if] @JasonKelce mentions your tweet in the next @newheightshow episode,” another said, and it almost feels like a guaranteed feature in the segment where they read off social media shoutouts or when Jason undoubtedly teases Travis about his suspected features in the new album.

  • Jason Kelce scorches Messi, MLS: ‘Like Michael Jordan on a golf course.’ Is he right?

Jason Kelce scorches Messi, MLS: ‘Like Michael Jordan on a golf course.’ Is he right?

Jason Kelce is getting better at this podcasting thing, and his latest scorching hot take about soccer star Lionel Messi was spot on, and maybe a tad bit harsh.

His brother, Travis Kelce, seemed excited to talk about Messi playing last week at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, in the same stadium Kelce plays in with the Chiefs during the NFL season. But then Jason Kelce stomped on his euphoria.

“Seeing Messi play with Miami is not the same as seeing Messi play for Barcelona or at the world stage of the World Cup. Seeing Michael Jordan on a golf course is not like seeing Michael Jordan in a Bulls uniform, alright? I’m just being honest. It’s not,” Jason Kelce said during the latest edition of the “New Heights” podcast released Tuesday. “The best soccer players ever at the World Cup is different than seeing Lionel Messi tearing it up in Kansas City — just saying, it’s different.”

    Ouch.

    Well, Jason, you’re right.

You could’ve said “not like seeing Michael Jordan play for the Wizards” instead of golf, but your point does stand.

Maybe, Messi will lead Argentina to victory in Copa America 2024 this summer and hoist another trophy – in what might be the last international tournament of his career.

    Tune in for that, Jason!

Messi’s run with Inter Miami in Major League Soccer feels like a World Cup victory lap before he ultimately retires.

That’s why soccer fans are clamoring to get a glimpse of him every chance they get, with 72,610 fans seeing Messi score a goal at the Chiefs’ stadium on April 13, setting a record for the most-attended soccer match in the state of Missouri and the third-most attended MLS game in history.

Messi is expected to play in front of another sellout crowd with at least 64,000 fans inside the New England Patriots’ Gillette Stadium, when Inter Miami visits to play the New England Revolution on Saturday.

“It’s great. It’s electric. He made the MLS fun to watch last year,” Travis Kelce said.

“I’m not saying it’s not good for MLS. I’m saying it’s not as good,” Jason Kelce added. “I’m not saying that, like, it sucks he plays in Miami. That’s awesome for the MLS and I think it’s great for American soccer. I just think it’s nowhere near when he scores a goal for Argentina, and the entire country is erupting in cheers because it means more to Argentina than any other sport on the planet. That’s all I’m saying.”

There’s no disputing Messi’s World Cup run – on the biggest stage in sports – was memorable and legendary.

Not just for how Messi performed, at the height of his game, in what many consider the greatest World Cup final of all time. But because of what it meant for Messi to finally kiss and hoist the World Cup trophy after leading Argentina to a thrilling victory over France in Qatar in December 2022. (A feat, Travis Kelce pointed out to his brother, that occurred just over a year ago.)

The victory cemented Messi’s legacy as one of the sport’s greatest players, putting a cap on one of the greatest careers the sport has ever seen, following heartbreak after heartbreak Messi experienced in an Argentina jersey despite the championship success he sustained with Barcelona.

It’s also unfair to compare Messi’s run with Inter Miami to the World Cup. There’s just no comparison. It kinda goes without saying before Jason Kelce said it.

Jason and Travis Kelce Mania! From Football to Family, Inside the Brothers’ ‘Surreal’ World (Exclusive)

    Jason and Travis Kelce cover

On Monday night, as Philadelphia Eagles fans watched the seconds tick down on their team’s season — and tears welling in star center Jason Kelce’s eyes, signaling an apparent decision to hang up his cleats — it was hard not to sense the end of an era.

“Thirteen seasons. Seven-time Pro Bowler. Six-time All-Pro. One Super Bowl. One No. 1 podcast. And one Sexiest Man Alive title,” ESPN analyst Pat McAfee said the following day on his show, ticking off Jason’s career accomplishments. “Hell of a run….”

But for the Brothers Kelce, “the run” seems nowhere near done, even if Jason has played his last down in the NFL.

Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce: Everything to Know About the NFL Brothers

If last February’s Super Bowl LVII, in whch Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs defeated Jason’s Eagles, touched off the dizzying hype of Kelce Mania, the ensuing months — crammed with their chart-topping New Heights podcast, the record-breaking Amazon Prime documentary Kelce, a slew of endorsements and Travis’ high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift (which helped boost the NFL’s female viewership by more than 2 million) — have only supercharged the fascination.

“It’s been really surreal and a fun ride to be on,” their mother Donna Kelce, 71, tells PEOPLE of her unique vantage of the phenomenon.

“Being able to be with my kids — the experiences, the places, enjoying people I’ve never met before. And I’m very happy they get to enjoy the fruits of their labor, because it’s [been] a tough ride to get where they are now.”

The secret to the Kelces’ success is their easy charm and undeniable authenticity (and their unfailing willingness to goof on each other about what their own personal scented candle would smell like) — and father Ed Kelce, 72, says that effortless brotherly banter is nothing new.

“I’ve been listening to the shtick between these [two] since they were toddlers,” he told PEOPLE last October. “The way they interact on the podcast, that’s the way they’ve always been. And that’s always been fun to watch.”

Jason and Travis grew up Cleveland Heights, Ohio, playing every sport they could and making their fair amount of well-intentioned mischief, like the time a bocce ball found its way through the family car’s windshield. (“Those kinds of things happened constantly when they were growing up,” admits Donna.) But they learned fierce commitment to each other through their parents’ commitment to them.

“My brother didn’t have any children, and my husband’s sister didn’t have any,” explains Donna. “[Jason and Travis] used to yell at me because they didn’t have any cousins to play with on Christmas. We were tight-knit, always trying to help each other as much as we could.”

As Travis told PEOPLE last April of what he learned from his parents, who remained together for the sake of their kids until Travis left to join Jason at the University of Cincinnati: “My entire upbringing [was about learning] to fuel people. . . . I was always taught to be a fountain, not a drain, [to] provide something instead of [taking].”

Recently, Travis’s management team revealed to The New York Times their vision to make the nine-time Pro Bowl tight end as “famous as the Rock,” referencing Dwayne Johnson’s transition from WWE star to A-list actor.

“He really enjoyed Saturday Night Live,” a source tells PEOPLE of Travis’s March 2023 hosting stint. “He had a blast. After he retires, he wants to lean into acting and hosting.”

For now, Travis will continue to hone his charisma on the New Heights podcast, opposite Jason, his worthiest foil. “They’re just as competitive as adults today, always jabbing at each other [about] who’s the best,” says Donna, laughing. “It doesn’t stop. They’re each other’s biggest fan.”

As Taylor Swift takes over Singapore with a bunch of Eras Tour shows, her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to reunite with his older brother Jason Kelce and support an important cause.

A woman named Jess Viola shared photos from an event organized to support her cause, Team Rectify, created to raise money for cancer survivors through the Cycle for Survival: New York. The Kelce brothers were on site to support the family.

Led by Meghan R. McDermott, the team was started after her partner, Brendan McDermott, passed away last year after a battle with colorectal cancer. Now, the group raises money for various cancer survivors.

Viola wrote, “i’ll just leave this here. these two are awesome. i know brendan is smiling down right now. some legends wearing #teamrectify hats.” In the photos, Jason and Travis smiled brightly as they posed with a group of people, including some firefighters, and it seemed like they participated in some activities as well.

She added, “if you haven’t donated yet, here’s your sign,” providing the link to their fundraiser on her profile. As of writing, the team has raised $64,102 of their $150,000 goal ahead of the race on March 9.

As the brothers supported a good cause, Travis’ girlfriend Swift continued her concerts in Singapore, which began on March 2 and will continue until March 9. It’s currently unclear if Travis will attend any of the concerts there. He previously flew to Australia to see Swift perform in Sydney, with the couple enjoying a nice date at the zoo as well. After Singapore, Swift will have a much-deserved break from touring throughout the rest of March and April. The tour will pick back up at the start of May, moving through Europe with stops in France, Portugal, Ireland, Italy and more.

Jason Kelce is all smiles after finally beating brother Travis, coach Reid and Chiefs

Jason Kelce is all smiles after finally beating brother Travis, coach...Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce finally defeated the Kansas City Chiefs for the first time in his NFL career, meaning he now also has a win over younger brother Travis Kelce and head coach Andy Reid. The Monday Night Football clash ended with the siblings hugging and laughing.

Travis, 34, told Jason, 36, the win was a late birthday present. They both shared a laugh before parting ways after Patrick Mahomes failed to lead a touchdown drive for the victory.

The first time the brothers had a chance to face each other was in 2013, but Travis was sidelined with an injury.

Their first head-to-head came in 2017, followed by 2021 and most notably, the 2023 Super Bowl, all wins for Kelce and the Chiefs.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (87) yells from the sidelines after the defense makes a stop in the fourth quarter of an NFL, American Football Herren, USA game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs on November 13, 2022 at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO.

While new fans of the Kelce brothers are familiar with their professional football careers and their popular podcast, New Heights, they also had just as exciting of a time in college as they played football and lived together at the University of Cincinnati.

After a bunch of their former teammates, roommates and more shared memorable stories of Jason and Travis Kelce‘s time in college with The Athletic, the two took a moment to remember that time of their lives in the newest episode of their podcast.

To say their college adventures sound wild might be an understatement as the two confirmed their friends’ stories, including one in which Jason, as a drunk freshman, ripped the sink out of a teammate’s bathroom at a party.

“That house was so special,” Jason recalled, referring to a house that he shared with Travis and a few other teammates. “The amount of parties and fun we had. I mean, listen, don’t get much better than the times that we were in that hustle.”

Another memorable story the two told was when the team had to practice on St. Patrick’s Day and Jason wasn’t happy about it, so he brought in a bottle of Jameson and drank it on the field, with Travis saying, “Sure enough, we’re getting psyched out by Jason trying to come ‘hydrate’ us and giving us a bottle of Jameson.”

The group of roommates also had a trash can in the middle of their living room that was filled with pizza boxes and more and didn’t have a lid, with the two saying that it “stunk up the entire place.”

But according to Travis, “It was exactly what we needed because we were a bunch of filthy animals.”

Jason began his time at the University of Cincinnati in 2006, while Travis followed close behind in 2008. They smoothly transitioned to the NFL after, with the elder Kelce getting drafted by the Eagles in 2011, and Travis by the Chiefs in 2013.
