During their aquatic escapade, Mahomes and her companions were seen lounging on the yacht’s deck, with one friend luxuriating on a floating raft nearby. The 28-year-old model showcased her effortless elegance as she gracefully navigated the vessel’s two-story layout, her flowing blonde locks complemented by chic black sunglasses with orange frames.

Prior to their nautical adventure, Mahomes and her husband enjoyed the picturesque landscapes of Cabo, as documented on her Instagram Story. While it remains unclear whether their two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, Sterling Skye and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, accompanied them on the trip, the couple has been relishing quality family time following the Chiefs‘ triumphant Super Bowl victory in February.

In an interview with WCPO 9 that was shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Friday, the Philadelphia Eagles center discussed the attention that has followed the “Blank Space” singer, 34, by the NFL, as she dates Jason’s younger brother, Travis Kelce.

“The attention’s there because the audience wants to see it, I mean, if people didn’t want to see it they wouldn’t be showing it, I know that,” Jason, 36, said.

“She’s a world star, she’s the quintessential, you know, artist right now in the world,” he continued, then describing the “singer-songwriter” as “immensely talented,” as well as an “unbelievable role model for young women across the globe.”

“I think that the NFL would probably be foolish not to, you know, show her and … be a role model for all the young girls out there,” Jason added.

Jason’s latest comments aren’t the first time this week that he has celebrated the pop superstar.

He previously called Swift the “newest member“ of the Kansas City Chiefs fan club during this week’s episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast.

“Shout out to the newest members of the Chiefs Kingdom,” Jason said in the Wednesday episode, before he joked, “Taylor Swift, who has officially reached the Super Bowl in her rookie year.”

“Shout out to Tay!” Travis, 34, then responded with a laugh, adding. “Thanks for joining the team!”

The Kelce family and Swift were spotted celebrating after the Chiefs’ winning game in the AFC Championship on Sunday. After Travis’ team defeated the Buffalo Bills, and secured a spot in the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, he was pictured kissing Swift on the field.

Shortly after the sweet embrace, the tight end also found his brother, and the pair shared several big hugs and handshakes.

“You keep your shirt on this time?” Travis joked to his brother — referencing Jason’s shirtless antics at the Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 21. “I did … for right now. We’ll see how it goes,” Jason responded.

The father of three then choked up as he congratulated his younger brother on the Chiefs’ 17-10 victory over the Ravens, which allows him to return to the Super Bowl for a second consecutive year.

“I know it wasn’t easy. I know it was a hard year,” Jason said. “Finish it. Finish this motherf—-er!”

Taylor Swift is a full-fledged football fan now thanks to the global pop music sensation’s oft-publicized relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. But Swift’s intelligence and down-to-earth nature has impressed one of Kelce’s most famous teammates and close friends, star Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Swift became close with Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, with the two often sitting next to each other in suites as the Chiefs made their run to a second consecutive Super Bowl title and third in five years. But Swift also earned praise from Patrick himself during the latter’s recent interview with TIME Magazine.

“I’ve met a lot of famous people now in my life,” Patrick Mahomes, now a three-time Super Bowl MVP, told the publication. “Taylor’s probably the most down-to-earth person [I’ve met] that’s been on that stage for that long. … She’s never not working. Even when she’s taking her downtime, she’s working on something. Shooting a music video or singing a song or writing a song. You can see it by how she talks.”

Swift’s work ethic, despite impressing one of the most high-profile athletes in sports, will come as no surprise to her legions of fans nor anyone who has followed the pop star’s recent moves. She is set to release her 12th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” on Friday, marking her fifth such release.

Swift is also once again spending a large chunk of the summer on the international leg of her “Eras Tour” concert series in which she plays over 40 songs from all eras of her nearly 20-year professional music career. She has played 152 such shows since the tour started in March 2023. The U.S. portion of Swift’s tour grew into a nationwide phenomenon in 2023 and led to her becoming the first music artist in history to gross over $1 billion on a single tour.

And when she was not touring or recording for her upcoming album, Swift spent much of that “downtime” Mahomes alluded to not only traveling to support and root for Kelce during his games but also impressing his quarterback with how quickly her football acumen has grown.

“Even when she’s talking about football, when she’s learning it, you can see her business mind putting it together,” Patrick Mahomes told TIME. “It’s almost like she’s trying to become a coach. ‘Why can’t you try this, this and this?’ She’s asking the right questions.”

Mahomes said he had previously met Swift in passing nearly five years (and five studio albums) ago at the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville. But as he got to know Swift and the Chiefs adjusted to the added spotlight — and viewership — Swift brought, which Mahomes said moved the Chiefs from a “nationwide” team to a “full global worldwide team,” Mahomes told TIME the team “embraced” that added dynamic instead of shunning it as a distraction.

Taylor Swift will always have Shania Twain in her corner. In a new interview, the “Yoυ’re Still the One” singer opened υp aboυt passing the coυntry-pop torch to artists like the 14-tiмe Graммy winner, whoм Twain coммended for “working her bυtt off.”

“She is living an exhaυsting existence, bυt she’s dedicated and coммitted to herself, to her art, and to her work,” the Canadian singer-songwriter said in a <eм>Haυte Living </eм>cover story pυblished Wednesday (April 17). “It isn’t even aboυt aмbition, thoυgh I’м sυre that мost people woυld call her aмbitioυs.”

“She’s an extreмely hard worker, and I’м sυre she’s got giant goals,” Twain added. “Bυt it’s not all aboυt aмbition; it’s aboυt passion and coммitting yoυrself to yoυr passion.”

The “Man! I Feel Like a Woмan!” singer’s coммents coмe in stark contrast to what another мυsic icon recently said aboυt Swift. Coυrtney Love took shots at the “Anti-Hero” artist while speaking to <eм>The Standard </eм>earlier this week, calling her “not iмportant” and “not interesting as an artist.”

Twain, however, has long been a friend and fan of Swift’s, and vice versa. The pair perforмed together at the 2019 Aмerican Mυsic Awards, and in a 2021 TikTok, the Eras Toυr<eм> </eм>star coммended the “That Don’t Iмpress Me Mυch” мυsician for disproving the notion that “coυntry girls can’t go pop” over the coυrse of her career.

On the sυbject of paving the way for genre-bending artists sυch as Swift, Twain said, “It wasn’t like I intended on being a trailblazer or anything.”

“I was jυst trying to be original, мy aυthentic self, and to do it with conviction,” she continυed. “I’м an expressive person, and I pυt that into мy мυsic. I was saying it with attitυde and confidence becaυse I мeant it. Yes, I see it as a great coмpliмent when soмeone calls мe a trailblazer, bυt it’s not like I set oυt to do so. I was jυst being мyself, and I think that’s served мe very well.”

NFL teams are constantly foaming at the mouth when it comes to the thought of finding a franchise quarterback. For good reason, too. The right guy can make a franchise a yearly contender for the foreseeable future and he gives his respective team the best shot, possible, at winning a Super Bowl.

At the same time, teams often trip over themselves and set themselves up for failure when it comes to picking “their guy”. This often comes in the form of a hefty first-round trade-up and it can set the team back a long time if things goes awry.

There’s one recent trade-up that worked to perfection, however, and that was the Kansas City Chiefs’ decision to trade from No. 27 to No. 10 back in 2017 in order to draft Patrick Mahomes. We all know the history, since, but just to remind everyone: Mahomes is a two-time NFL MVP, three-time Super Bowl winner and Super Bowl MVP, and he’s currently considered as the best QB, as well as the best overall player, in the game.

There was a good amount of risk involved, at the time. Mahomes was a raw prospect and it was unclear if the traits that made him successful at Texas Tech would translate to the NFL. But, they did, and the rest is history.

It’s fair to say that trade -especially now that Mahomes is who he is- prompted more teams to take big swings via substantial trade-ups. The Bills traded up from No. 12 to snag Josh Allen at No. 7 in 2018, the 49ers traded up from 12 to 3 in order to get Trey Lance and the Bears traded up from 20 to 11 to nab Justin Fields in 2021, and now, it’s heavily speculated and theorized that a franchise, or franchises, will make a big trade into the top-5 in order to get an elite signal-caller in what is deemed as the deepest QB class in history.

Sure, two of the above examples have worked out very well, but the other two in Lance and Fields have fallen flat on their faces. If a team does in fact move up, a 50/50 success rate isn’t ideal when it comes to putting the future on the line.

“We’re all chasing Patrick [Mahomes]. That’s part of the problem, here,” ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky said on the latest episode of Get Up. “Everybody wants their next Patrick. Patrick was a little bit of a dice roll, because he had some flaws with his game and there was risk attached to it. With J.J. McCarthy, there is not a ton of risk, in my opinion. Jayden Daniels, there’s not a ton of risk, in my opinion. I don’t know if they’re going to be Patrick.

“I think there’s got to be a little bit of a risk assessment with some of these picks. Maybe they’re not going to be the greatest quarterback, ever, in the history of the world. But I also think that we’re gonna get a really, really, really good player that we can win a ton of games, at a minimum, with.”

There are so many uncontrollable variables that play into a quarterback’s development and career, but one variable teams can control is how much they initially invest in the player. Teams can’t think, nor expect, every elite prospect will turn out like Mahomes. That’s a quick way to get to the unemployment line for the player and the coaches – no matter who it may be.

The league will keep chasing Mahomes and maybe one day, a lucky franchise will catch up. But until that happens, it’ll be interesting to see just how NFL teams go about doing so.

On Wednesday, Brittany — wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes — shared an Instagram carousel of a photo shoot with her children, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, 15 months, and Sterling Skye, 3.

Brittany, 28, captioned the cute carousel, “Squish and Miss Priss😂🤍,” referencing possible nicknames for her kids.

While most of the photos the proud mother shared featured the two toddlers, Brittany also shared one photo of Patrick, 28, playing with their son Bronze. As the Super Bowl champ was on the floor, he held his little one up in the air.

The singer, 34, officially dropped her 11th studio album on Friday, leaving fans scrambling to unravel the many pointed references to various romantic partners hidden within her lyrics.

But while Taylor made several digs at the likes of Matty, 35, and Joe, 32, NFL champ Travis, 34, reportedly has ‘zero concern’ for what she may be claiming about her exes, with the sportsman simply ‘proud’ of his girlfriend.

‘Travis has zero concern for what or whom the songs are about,’ an insider told DailyMail.com.

Travis is not believed to be concerned about the potential backlash Taylor could receive as a result of her new album.

The source continued: ‘Now that the album is out and it goes after so many people, Travis is not concerned about any backlash. Taylor knows what she is doing, and she is just telling her truth.

‘Travis is proud of her, she is excited, and if anyone she talks about on these songs wants to tell their side of the story, Taylor welcomes it.’

The sportsman, who started dating Taylor last summer before quickly becoming the hottest celebrity couple, appears to get a mention on her penultimate track The Alchemy.

While Tyreek Hill had high praises for ex-teammate Travis Kelce, the Dolphins wide receiver insisted that the tight end is not getting paid what he’s worth in Kansas City.
